IT was one winner and one loser on a night I fell even less in love with the EFL Trophy.
My Scottish double of Dundee United to win and both to score at Annan v Montrose won at 8-5 but it was one out of three on the EFL treble.
There were loads of goals at Norwich as usual but I was one short at Chelsea and Leicester went down at home to Walsall despite fielding a strong side.
It was a small profit on the night but having had my fingers burned I'm not revisiting the EFL Trophy where there are another
On Wednesday there are more EFL Trophy games to look at and I'll consider them all before possibly picking out a goals bet.
The international friendlies start with matches including Greece v Belarus and Holland v Belgium. They seem like a total waste of time but the game in Holland so derby so we could see some action I'll check team news to see if it throws up anything.
Monday should have been a no-bet, Tuesday was close to being one and today was even closer but only because I've won I'm posting a double.
Belgium can beat Holland if they go close to full strength but because I don't the team I'm backing them draw no bet. Roberto Martinez's side face Estonia in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday so may hold back some stars.
Same goes for Greece who have won five games in a row under Michael Skibbe. They face Belarus at home but again I'm going with draw no bet. Once teams are revealed the bet could be Belgium not to lose and Greece to win so hold off if you like.

I often bet on the SA markets and think I’ll start doing this type of bet, there really is a lot of consistency with number of goals scored.

Alex, I have to say I’m enjoying doing these type of bets there are a few leagues that have a fairly high percentage of games that finish with 2/3 goals. I’m in profit since starting this strategy in August which is the main goal and hopefully that remains for the remainder of the season.
