THE Paris Masters title and world No.2 spot are up for grabs for Andy Murray today as he tries to upset the odds against Novak Djokovic.

Murray is through to his first Paris final after continuing his fine form with a straight-sets win over David Ferrer while world No.1 Djokovic saw off Stan Wawrinka in three.

The Scot trails 9-20 in the head-to-head and since defeating Djokovic in the 2013 Wimbledon final he has won just one of their 10 meetings.

Defending champ Djokovic – now on a 21-match winning streak – is 2-7 favourite at Paddy Power while Murray is 17-5 at Marathonbet to win the match and 6-5 at William Hill to take a set.

The Moto GP title battle reaches a thrilling conclusion with the final race in Valencia today where Jorge Lorenzo starts on pole and is the even-money title favourite at Ladbrokes.

Other sporting highlights include a super Sunday of NFL action as well as golf and snooker so post your tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.

    Evening darts tip:

    Huybrechts win 1/3
    Klaasen win 4/9
    – Both of their opponents have not won on the big stage in a very long time therefore they will feel the pressure a lot more. Huybrechts and klaasen are used to the big stage and also have more quality.

    NFL Props

    Packers @ Panthers

Once more my Green Bay Packers are on the road in prime time against a tough defense for a second week in a row, and once more I’m stunned to see we are favourites. Aaron Rodgers played the worst game of his career last week in Denver with 77 pass yards and will come up against another strong pass defense. However, as much as a result is anybodies guess, I’m going to look somewhere different.

The Packers have already faced two of the most mobile QB‘s this season in Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick, and now they face perhaps the most mobile of them all.

‘Super’ Cam Newton leads the NFL in QB rushing attacks with 64 for 286 yards, 6 more attacks than Wilson, but Wilson has the total yards on him with 303. Wilsons best trait is his mobility, but usually most of his attacks are pass plays that he turns in to big yards on the ground, but with Newton, plays are drawn up for him to run, whether it’s the option or QB draw, he loves to take it himself having 4 TD’s on the season (one from a front flip). He also leads QB first downs with 23. That might not seem a lot, considering the Panthers only have 146, that’s quite a lot for a QB.

Packers rushing yards given up to ‘mobile’ QB‘s this year. Mobile is loosely stated as not all QB‘s will take off when they can.

    Jay Culter – 31
    Russell Wilson – 78
    Alex Smith – 33
    Colin Kaepernick – 57

Newton has only hit this total in two games this year but I think its about right considering the Packers have been awful on the defensive end for the last two weeks, and with the Kalil back in at Center, I think the best rush offense in the league should have a big day on the ground. An undefeated team at home against a Packers team who has given up over 1000 offensive yards in their last two games? I’d say the Panthers with the points is a good bet, but I’ll take the props.

Jonathan Stewart has had 20+ carries over his last three games averaging 95 yards on the ground, given the fact they run the ball more than any other team I think Stewart can cover this total doing so in his last 3 games.

    Jonathan Stewart (Panthers) Over 75.5 Rushing Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet – 3.3 points

    Cam Newton (Panthers) Over 42.5 Rushing Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet – 1.1 point

Derek Carr has led one of the most improved teams this season to a 4-3 record. The Oakland Raiders were one of the worst teams in the league last season but the second year QB has made progression, but that’s no doubt thanks to the additions made in the passing game. 3rd overall pick Amari Cooper and free agent from the 49ers Michael Crabtree have been key additions for Carr, both averaging over 65 receiving yards per game with 8 receptions each of 20 yards or more.

Carr himself has been very consistent throwing for 15 TD’s to only 3 interceptions. He has faced the two best pass defenses in the NFL already this year and has over 249 passing yards in both of them. Losing by 6 at home to the Broncos despite leading until the 3rd quarter with Carr eventually throwing a pass that was picked off for a TD in the 4th, losing 16-10, they also decimated the likes of Revis and Cromartie last week, beating the Jets by two TD’s at home. That’s impressive considering they are 3rd in the league in pass yards per attempt given up, but that’s after Carr threw for 4 TD’s and 333 yards.

These are two of the better teams in the AFC and this game may have big wild-card implications. Big Ben will be shaking off his rust from last week in which he threw 3 interceptions in a loss at home to the Bengals, but reports were suggesting he may have come back too soon. He’s had an extra week to recover, and will be wanting a better performance this time round against a susceptible Raider pass defense (26th at 302 yards allowed per game). Think we could have a shootout here with Bell out for the season and Roethlisbergers deep threat Martavis Bryant back in action and seeing targets. Oakland also rank last against Tight Ends, and there’s not many Tight End/QB partnerships than Big Ben and Heath Miller.

Ultimately I think the Steelers rally and get the W, but either way I expect both to throw for 300+.

    Raiders @ Steelers

    Derek Carr Over 270.5 Passing Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet – 2.2 points

    Yesterday’s betting results:

    Klaasen most 180s , 1/1 – WON

    Mvg most 180 + Anderson most 180,
    2.27 – WON

    Todays tips:

    Total match 180ss:

    **MVG v Kim H over 4.5 180s – 4/5**

Both players are in good form. Mvg and Kim threw over 4 180s each in their first match. It should be a cracker.

    Good luck

    Spanish & VTB basketball 5-FOLD:

    – Andorra +11.5
    – Basquet Maneresa +12.5
    – Iberostar Teneriffe +15.0
    – BC Khimki/BC Kalevala Cramo UNDER 166.5
    – Tsmoki Minsk/CEZ Nymburk UNDER 158.5

    5-FOLD pays odds of $22.74 ($4.50 to return $102.31)

I spent a couple hours picking these bets…I’m confident on all of them but as always I’m sure 1 will fail but it’s just a fun bet and never know huh!

Jordan, I assume your main NFL bets posted a few days ago are still good for tonight?

  15. Attila 8 years ago

Hey Jordan I’m liking the look of Eagles -3.0 vs Cowboys. What do you think?

Dallas keep losing and still have major quarterback issues right? Eagles have won 3 of last 5 so they seem to be on the up.

  16. huggybear518 8 years ago

Gonna try a treble of prop bets , seem to be picking those better than the spreads..

    bradley beal over 20.5 points(wizards) *lost* 11
kawhi leonard over 19.5 points (spurs) *won* 23
    blake griffin over 8 rebounds(clippers)*won* 11

    treble pays 6.16/1 2 points

    gonna add

    bucks -6 @ 11.76 1 point 94 -86 *won*

    gonna add

    jimmy butler over 20.5 points @ 21.57 1 point *lost 11*

3 from 5 , gutted , 11.76 acca let down by Beal , but the sad part is i changed to beal from otto porter jnr who had 23 and smashed his total . aaarrrrrgghhhh

might try doubles as 1 or 2 legs are letting me down.

Think I’m gonna give up on the gambling guys… Lost too much money over the years and seems to be a lot more difficult to get winners these days than it used to be (bookies have got smarter). Every favourite seems to lose and big underdogs keep winning but always seems to be the opposite of what I pick (whether I bet on fave or dog). Not enjoying it anymore just gives me the &hits

Attila, it has to be fun and if it’s not the best thing to do is stop.
if you can’t stop then go minimum stakes for a bit.

attila mate , do whats right for you…

  23. James 8 years ago

Atilla I do not post much but I am a follower of this site daily for a couple years and I do feel that you may have a problem it sort of stands out to me in your comments. quiting may not be the answer maybe you should realise that your tips are just poor, do not take that comment to heart it’s just reality and some people have clouded judgment. I know this because I have no luck backing my own selections and instead follow the great tipsters on this page instead. as MR Fixit has said it might be worth lowering your stakes for now instead of completely quiting gambling as I personally think it is a hobby and I enjoy it.
God bless you and I hope you take my advice

Hoping that guys on here see my selections as a choice to pick their own , i have given 6 from 8 winners in last 2 nights , but as iv`e not been going mad the fact that the acca has been downed by 1 result isn`t an issue.

i`ll continue to post my thoughts , use some none or all its up 2 personal choice ,

I also had a bit of Jordans single last night , thinking that mixed sport bets are hard , very hard..

I`ll stop posting when people advise me to BOG OFF !!

Huggy I can’t see anyone telling you to bog off mate your tips are outstanding, early days in the NBA always will produce strange results. That winning streak is going to come sooner or later mate. Am I right in saying that 35/40 winning bets I think it was started in mid November last year ?

  37. huggybear518 8 years ago

I`m doing ok , probably slightly up/even so far , just looking to see trends , watch the rebounds when sides play free scoring sides , money there , watch all the big boys , harden , curry , davis , l james , westbrook , all seem to be hitting their totals..

see what i`m on and post later , keep up the fun guys , like thats been said , when its no longer fun STOP or dial it down a bit..

I DO LIKE PORTLAND TONIGHT – as picksix mentioned earlier..
