ENGLAND'S cricket team are ready to launch their winter tour with a Test series against India that Stuart Broad reckons will be the toughest of his career.

India top the world rankings and are unbeaten in their last 13 Tests, winning 12, while England have had no warm-up matches and lost to ninth-ranked Bangladesh for the first time last month.

The first match gets under way on Wednesday at 4am UK time and England are a whopping 5-1 at Betway to take the opening honours, with India generally available at 8-15 and the draw paying 18-5 at Marathonbet.

In the pick of tonight's NBA action the only team still with a 100 per cent record this season, Cleveland Cavs, host Atlanta Hawks.

There's also the likes of snooker and ice hockey worth a flutter today so feel free to add your sporting tips and thoughts.

    Euroleague Basketball (Thursday)

    Zvezda @ Kazan (16:00GMT)

Both teams languishing at the bottom of the league, struggle defensivley but are more than capable of putting up a large number of points. Big over for me!

    Total Points (Over 148.5) @ 10/11, Unibet – 2.1pts staked.

    Good luck!

Philly look like they could be the whipping boys again.

It was a bad bet. Hopefully back amongst the winners tonight.

      NBA daily picks:

      Yesterday bet:

      Charlotte – Indiana (Pick 1X @1.46)
      Philadelphia – Utah (Pick 2 @1.35)
      Oklahoma – Miami (Pick 1 @1.45)
      Chicago – Orlando (Pick 1 @1.35)
      LA Clippers – Detroit (Pick 1 @1.25)

      5 fold @4.82 – **WON** – profit 85 euros

If yesterday was easy, today is a bit harder.

      Cleveland – Atlanta (Pick 1 @1.27)
Cleveland is looking to extend their flawless start (5-0), while Atlanta (4-2), are 1-1 on away games, they won against Philly and lost against Washington. While I believe it won’t be a game as easy as the odds suggest, the red hot Cavs have the power to get a victory here.

      Brooklyn – Minnesota (Pick 1 +3.5 @1.85)
Brooklyn (2-4) are hosting Minnesota (1-4) and are considered underdogs in this game (Jeremy Lin is sidelined for this game). Minnesota though lost all 3 away games this season, while Brooklyn are 2-2 at home, where they managed to beat stronger teams, like Detroit and Indiana. I believe this will be a very close game, we might even have overtime, therefore I pick Brooklyn +3.5.

      Portland – Phoenix (Pick 2 +7.5 @1.85)
Portland (4-3) will play at home vs Phoenix (2-5). On Nov 2 Portland lost the game in Phoenix in OT, and are definitely look for revenge. The problem is that D. Lillard injured his left index finger and is listed as day to day and might not play. CJ McCollum is a monster though and banged 37 points vs Memphis on Sunday. Despite all this Phoenix is playing good basketball, Devin Booker is on fire, and while I believe Portland might win this, they won’t be able to cover the handicap.

      LA Lakers – Dallas (Pick 1X @1.38)
Lakers (without the legendary Kobe) has started pretty good this season (they are 3-0 at home) and 4-3 overall, and they will play the poor Mavs (1-5) who are still missing star players Dirk Nowitzki and Deron Williams. In this situation there’s no way LA can lose this game.

      Sacramento – New Orleans (Pick 1 @1.4)
I saw the last game Sacramento played against Toronto and managed to grab a surprising win. Now they are playing at home against the horrendous NO Pelicans (0-7) who are now without Lance Stephenson, sidelined with a groin injury.
The Pelicans now rely only on superstar Anthony Davis, but the problem for them is that Davis has to face another beast, DeMarcus Cousins. Easy win for Sacramento.

      Fivefold pays ~@8.4

      GL all!

      November bets:
      1 – 1 win 0 lost
      profit – 85 euros

Tx John! Today’s Portland game is the trickiest, I even consider to ignore it and go for a more safer fourfold that pays ~@4.5.

Simple double for me tonight, haven’t had a bet in a while so hopefully back in the green today!

    Lakers -4.5 10/11

Just finished watching highlights of Seahawks v Bills and what a great game. Sherman is an an absolute beast! He must be a large part of the reason why the Seahawks defence is ranked so high.

Good game in Seattle last night, I didn’t tip anything on the game but with the likes of Tyrod Taylor, Russell Wilson, Robert Woods, shady McCoy all covering their props it was a good night for prop bets and overs. Back for week 10 GL if your having a punt

Alright gents. Hit and miss last night between the US sports. Kemba Walker dominated in the Hornets win over the Pacers and brought in his PR&A, but CJ Prosise didn’t feature as much as I expected and only finished with 15 total yards.

Tonight I’m taking a player in the NBA who is stepping in while the starting PG is injured. JJ Berea has started in place of Deron Williams for Dallas and has been one of the focal points of attack with Barnes also stepping up. Williams is once again doubtful for tonight’s game vs the Lakers who are giving up the sixth most points over their last three per game and second most points in the paint. JJ won’t get too many points in the paint but can finish at the glass but his main attributes are the deep ball and passing.

Brook Lopez is the main focal point in the Brooklyn offense with Lin still hurting and has added the three ball to his game. The Timberwolves are giving up the second most points in the paint over their last three and Lopez should get multiple points and boards and his total is fairly low.

JJ Berea (Dallas Mavericks) Over 23.5 Points and Assists @ 5/6 @ PP – 2.4 points

Brook Lopez (Brooklyn Nets) Over 27.5 Points and Rebounds @ 4/5 @ PP – 2.5 points

No markets available as yet but despite the Cavs offensive dominance, they are yielding a fair amount of points recently. Dwight Howard should have another productive night for Atlanta and if his points and rebounds are below 30 I’d be inclined to take that.

    Good luck if you follow.

CJ Prosise (Seattle Seahawks) Over 45.5 Rush and Receiving Yards @ 5/6 @ 365 – 3.6 points **LOSE**

    Kemba Walker (Charlotte Hornets) Over 32.5 PR&A @ 5/6 @ PP – 2.4 points **WIN**

Feelin’ the JJ Berea pick mate, might get on that myself.

PP now Lopez at 25.5 also

Although Lillard didn’t land it last time out I wouldn’t shy anyone away of his PR&A against the Suns tonight. 40.5 @ PP but just fancy the other two more.

This is just a lean/ airing some thoughts.

    Dallas Mavericks @ LA Lakers.

On the surface this looks like such an obvious pick, Lakers are 3-0 at home.. playing some good ball, Dirk and Deron are out. Lakers all day right?.. But tbh of all the underdogs on the board, this is the one that sticks out to me the most.

Mavericks found a way to win against the Bucks on Sunday night, in what was at times a pretty ugly scrappy game. But the point is they won.. without Dirk and without Deron. Harrison Barnes had a decent game that night, with 34 points.

Now, if they don’t beat this Lakers team tonight.. they’re facing the Warriors on a b2b, and will ultimately go 1-7.

Looking at h2h’s (last 10) Dallas are 10-0, undefeated against LA Lakers going back to 2013.

This is definitely not as clean cut as ‘Lakers win easy’, not when the Mav’s are playing Warriors the day after. Why not go all out for the win.

I may not touch this game, its just a lean… and a gut feeling that Lakers will slip up against a depleted Mav’s team.

I’ll be back around 10pm with bets.
