IT was great to enjoy a Europa League night for once. I said the card looked not bad, results overall were pretty good with plenty of goals and it was smashing to see so many winners posted and happy punters.
For once the Super Single came in without a sweat as 13-10 shots Red Bull Salzburg destroyed Dinamo Zagreb 5-1 in Croatia. I also advised Jonathan Soriano to score first at 15-4 and in the Spurs game tipped Harry Kane to net at any time.
I posted Top Trebles on the early and late games and while Qarabag let the first one down the second came up at 2-1 thanks to Sevilla, Legia Warsaw and Napoli.My goals line looked good all night but in the end the fivefold was two short but I can't complain too much.
Friday's where I struggle for time and as usual will be relying on regulars to put up tips until I'm clear of my weekend Daily Record column.
The only game I've looked at in depth is the Motherwell v Dundee Utd Premiership and the away side are my Super Single in Friday's Daily Record at 21-20 with McBookie and BetVictor.
Stuart McCall quit the Fir Park club after five defeats in a row and Well have also failed to net in their previous five against United at home. The tangerines have won four of those games with the fifth a 0-0 and seven of the last eight meetings at Fir Park have seen no to both teams to score.
So the stats say United will win to nil (16-5, Coral) while one team at most will hit the target (11-8, bet365).
United have been a bit hit and miss but boss Jackie McNamara freshened up his squad at the weekend and got the response he wanted with a 3-0 win against St Mirren. Youngsters Aidan Connolly and Charlie Telfer as well as Calum Butcher were brought in and all performed well which means the established players will need to rise to the challenge.
One game in the continent stands out for goals and consider over 3.5 at 7-5 with sportingbet in the Dutch league game between Excelsior and Utrecht.
Utrecht's last six have totalled 23 and the previous two meetings between the sides finished 2-3 and 3-1. Excelsior's last six have tallied 18 and the safer option of over 2.5 goals is 11-20 at McBookie and that's a possibility for the treble if I get round to doing one.
Elsewhere there is an FA Cup tie between Warrington and Exeter live on BBC 2 and while it will be a big night for the non-league side the visitors have lost just one in 10 and should have too much quality. At around 2-5 they are on the treble.
And I've decided to put most of my eggs in one basket by taking Exeter -1 at 21-20 with William Hill. Having checked where Warrington are in the pyramid set-up this should be easy for Exeter if they don't let their hosts get in their faces.
According to the Racing Posts 100 places separate the sides and in a great analogy they compare this to Man Utd facing Southport. So for me Exeter -1 beats Dundee Utd to the Super Single but if you disagree you know what to do.
Bolton, who have won three out of five under Neil Lennon, tackle Wigan in the Championship and will tempt some at a biggest 17-10 with Coral but this is a Lancashire derby and will be hard-fought. Wigan have lost just one in seven and I'm happier to take Bolton not to lose at about 1-2.
Other top-flight games to look at are Rennes v Lorient, Hertha Berlin v Hannover, Cordoba v Deportivo and Arouca v Guimaraes and of course there are plenty of second-tier matches that are of interest. Of those Rennes seem to be the best bet but as I've said before I don't have much time to do research on a Friday so keep checking comments for tips.
As well as the SS and TT I've listed a low-stakes Trixie I'm doing. Any two correct out of three will cover stakes but it's not my main tip.

Early game in Australia with Wellington hosting the newly-crowned Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League. Bookies have installed Wellington as slight favourites, based on in my opinion Wanderers lost their opening 2 games and all the travel Wanderers have done with last week’s Asian Champions League Final being in Saudi Arabia.
To some extent this can be explainable to the early season losses in the A-League – who wouldn’t be focused on their Asian campaign at that point? Now that’s done and dusted, which was a huge effort I think the key for this clash is the Wanderers coach Popovic and new signing Rukavytsya. This kid was lethal for Perth Glory when he was in the A-League years ago for Perth Glory, and I think if he starts he will score. Popovic is the new golden boy of Australian Football, and now Asia is conquered he will be straight on to dominating Australia after falling short the last two seasons. He is a very driven man and will get the Wanderers up for this.

Aussie A League Friday night and it’s definitely harder to pick tonight than it was last week.
Wellington v WSW
Early kick means it’s 6.30am for all of you back in the uk and after the wanderers win in the ACL they will be confident of getting something from this match against a wellington side who were well below par on Monday.
This is a tough one to call as WSW have done a lot of travelling, have a couple of key players suspended and injured (Saba and Santalab) but will be keen to get their first win of the season in the league.
Wellington will want to atone for a shabby performance against victory. Im struggling to call this one and if pushed i would plump for a draw but it could go any way if I’m honest. I dont think there will be too many goals in this one and 3 out of last 5 have been under 2.5
Adelaide v Sydney
I think this is a slightly easier call and I think adelaide will win this one. Thats not the easy call…the easy call here is goals. I can see both teams scoring and over 2.5 and btts looks the bet. The last time sydney won in adelaide was a couple of years ago. 4 out of last 5 have gone over 2.5.

Just seeing all the bolton Wigan posts I am a season ticket holder at Bolton and admit to be their first critic however since Mr Lennon has took over it has been a different story. Bolton Wigan is always close yet bolton made Cardiff on Tuesday look horrendous and if they were potential play off contenders then we should beat Wigan. And agree the price for home win is frightening.

Hsta, Dundee Utd at evens isn’t any bigger than it should be. I wouldn’t back them away from home at anything smaller. Due to inconsistency sides like Dundee Utd are capable of losing any game in the Premiership so 1-2 is unrealistic.

Should be a reasonably easy game for United tonight but you can’t ever think that about a game because anything could happen. I’ve gone for over 2.5 United goals tonight because of the amount of goals we’ve scored against Motherwell, especially at Fir Park and we beat St Mirren 3-0 at home last week so will hopefully continue that form into tonight. Inspired by the efforts of others I’ve just re-contacted Bet365 regarding the cash out issues of Tuesday night. They initially offered £20, went to £40, then to £100 and finally £160 after referral upwards.
Feeling quite pleased with this given I don’t really feel that we can complain that cash out didnt work that much (after all if the bet won I wouldn’t complain!) but it’s a bonus that is just that, a bonus :o)

went into betfred to put a £1 accumulator on what i posted this morning, and the bloke said he couldn’t do it after 10 mins messing about on his screen.
first time i been in a shop to do it, did i just get a dippy or….?
kevin, nothing to stop you doing any bet inshop mate the only problem is they now employ such hopelessly stupid staff that you should demand they phone through any bet to check it will be accepted. Bookmakers basically employ people that are paid the minimum wage but do not deserve even that much.
kevin, shops and online are different entities now. In reality a bet available online should be doable in a shop but the price won’t always be the same and unless you have a top staff member, like the Ladbrokes manager and assistant manager in Milngavie who go out their way to find prices, then you might not get it on.

Recoba, the only time I really use shops is when Hearts are at home mate and I write the bet and the price on a slip and circle it myself. Any other bets just do the same thing as it saves them the trouble of checking prices or phoning anywhere. If the bet lands it will be settled at the correct price anyway.

Mr F I try to put together trebles and to get to around evens I will not go less than 1/6 normally. A 1/4, 1/5 and 1/6 treble pays just shy of 4/5 so anything better can take it near evens.
raaljaca, I might have a go tomorrow but as I refuse to break my bank I won’t be able to stake much once I do my usual bets. Might pick out 5 or 6 and see what it pays. If you’re near a Ladbrokes have a look at the Top 20 Top Prices coupon. The advertised fivefold of Man Utd, Man City, Reading, Everton and Celtic pays 14-1 which is bigger than anything online including Ladbrokes. The downside is minimum fivefolds.
I will get one in the morning Mr F. With the team to score bets the option is always there to put in an over 1.5 team goals to keep it to a treble. I like Braga tomorrow night and best price to score is 1/8 but to score over 1.5 can be had at 4/7, a huge difference. I would put them in a bet at 1/8 at a push but the 4/7 looks excellent and would take any treble to over evens.

At first glance the away form of La Palma doesn’t look great with only one victory out of 5 matches. But overall the away form is 1-3-1. Scoring in 4 out 5 of those matches, against decent top half of the league opponents.
As I have written, Girona started the season well. Not being expected to finish anything other than mid table, even by home fans. Girona has been punching above it’s weight, slipped from top last weekend. I expect that decline to continue. With the best goal difference in the league , +10 & +11 I expect a close game but not many goals as they both also have tight defences.

@Stephen Head & Mr F, ive found a machine in my local bookies that pays out profit everytime I play it.It was coincidence, that I played this one machine twice at the same time, but on different days.I went down the 3rd day, same time, same machine and low & behold, profit again.Im only starting with £5, just incase, but ive profited more than £200…Now, if it still happens after a week, im going to start off with £100…Wish me luck.
