WEDNESDAY'S card looks kinder than Tuesday's although there are fewer games to look at.

I'm all over Celtic to recover from defeat by Inverness by beating Hearts and I reckon Man City will take care of Wigan.

Complete the treble by adding Stoke who should beat a struggling Newcastle.

My Super Single is West Brom who can maintain their excellent start by winning at Swansea.

I'm limiting the both teams to score to four games – two in the Bundesliga. Four of the last five meetings between Moenchengladbach and Wolfsburg have seen both score and the visitors are in good form with four wins out of six. Strike star Das Bos has netted six this season and could be on target again.

Five of the last six Werder Bremen v Bayer Leverkusen have brought up the btts and Bremen's last five have seen both score.

Bayern Munich look best bets in Europe away to Freiburg at 4-11 (various). I'm reluctant to do much in the cups after Malaga let me down last night but Levante (2-5, various) should add to their one-goal lead over Melilla and Fiorentina (1-3, BetVictor) should see off Juve Stabia.

    Hooper is due a goal

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Anton, absolutely Hooper is due a goal, doesn’t mean he’ll get one though, but has a decent strike record against Hearts.

I did a mixture of Mr fixits btts and top treble as the one bet. Also did my own btts cupon and picked

    st Johnston v hibs
    everton v arsenal
    swansea v west brom
    southampton v norwich

does anyone think west broms great run will end tonight?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr Broke It, as you see I’ve taken West Brom and they are a good price. However, their run has to end soon and I’ve said earlier that not many sides win four in a row. Having said that Swansea didn’t threaten much at home to Liverpool and West Brom should pose them more problems.

Huge profit yesterday but I see no reason not to continue with Mr. Fixit like I’ve done for several months. My total risk today are 17 % of my bankroll. 5 correct will give me 10 % profit on the day.

    Singles:

    Celtic / 2.31 % of bankroll
    Man. City / 2.48 %
    Stoke / 1.83 %

    West Brom. / 1.14 %

    Both to score:

    Southampton / 2.24 %
    Blackburn / 2.24 %
    M’gladbach / 2.24 %
    Werder Bremen / 2.48 %

And I do think Mr. Fixit are correct regarding West Brom.

    The Dane.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Dane, your presence was short and sweet but cost you nothing so good luck to you. West Brom I hope will win but one stat I’m aware of and it’s that not many teams at this level outside the top four win four games in a row.

Btts returns £71 for £10 stake at Bet365

  6. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

Btts would be handy tonight. £60 straight bet.

  7. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

I remain loyal to the btts Paul, its got to hit eventually and maybe tonight is the night

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, slightly disappointed last night. Jumped in with Ross County v St Mirren on the back of their 5-4 previous meeting but in hindsight should have taken Dundee Utd v Motherwell which was next on my list. At least that would have given me a return. Tonight if you leave out the cup games there isn’t too much choice which is why I’ve gone with four. I want to add in Man Utd who usually concede but I wonder if West Ham will score at Old Trafford.

  8. Peter Brown 11 years ago

Everton v arsenal Btts to score Paul? Even tho the gunners failed to score at villa on Saturday

  9. steve myers 11 years ago

  10. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

    Pick me 4 draws Paul

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, that’s a tough ask. Games that could come up are Everton v Arsenal, Spurs v Liverpool and Blackburn v Bolton. Maybe add Werder Bremen v Leverkusen.

    • Mystic Clegg 11 years ago

Your ‘last four have been draws’ tip has put me off the Blues sharing the points. Might go with Spurs-Liverpool as my 4th draw. Glad to see you have Blackburn in there.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mystic Clegg, they weren’t really draws “tips” as such, more a response to Chris Guy, but any or all of them could finish all square.

  11. anton 11 years ago

Don’t usually punt on goalscorers a fancy Hooper for one the night. Prob just pick 5 teams to win

  12. John 11 years ago

I walked away this morning from a 9/1 in play winner, i often wonder why i do this, i was pretty confident in the game too but lacked that killer instinct, refering to betting can people be taught this or is it something you do or don’t have? Any thoughts would be helpful

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, re the 9-1 winner you missed, you do learn by mistakes and experience. Next time you’re in the position you’ll probably back it. But all bets are a gamble and you’ll never remember the losers you didn’t back.

    • John 11 years ago

Very true, cheers for that, think i’ll stick a few quid on West Brom, i like the way they’re playing although Swansea played good football against liverpool so will be tight

  13. Craig alves 11 years ago

RVP and Suarez hat-tricks and gls for cazorla and fellaini would do ma fantasy team great tonight, sitting on top of league the now in 23 entrants wi pals, 1st 70% 2nd 20% 3rd 10% fi £10 a head.
anyway, just got ma Stoke Everton West Brom City wins wi spurs Liverpool draw for tonight, results were a lot better last night for punters and hope it continues.
any reason why none of Celtics champions league games have bn on itv, 5 British clubs competing but only the English games getting shown, Olympiakos arsenal on Tuesday night and got rid ae sports to save £ for Xmas mad thought at least 1 would’ve been on council Tele

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Craig, hadn’t really noticed. Been in the office most nights Celtic have played but must be to do with scheduling. The problem is Scotland is probably the only country in the Champions League with their TV coverage controlled from another nation.

  14. andy w 11 years ago

Hi Paul or the Dane, Could one of you both explain a bit more of what The Dane’s bet actually is, would like to know more, What has he bet exactly? How work the percentages? etc etc

    thanks in advance

Or anyone else who can chip, would be grateful

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Andy, he’s just doing singles and using a percentage of his pot.

  15. andy w 11 years ago

Thot it was singles,so he could be starting low stakes and building it over a period of time?? I am just rubbish at working out percentages lol

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Andy W, either he’s built it up or has started with an amount that he wants to increase. Either way he’s being quite shrewd and doing it nice and slowly.

  16. Bingo 11 years ago

Stoke 19/20, Man U 1/4, Man City 8/15, West Brom or draw 4/6, Celtic -1 8/5, Levante 2/5, Club Bruges 4/9 and Griffiths anytime 5/4. £10 on returns £736.91 if successful. If it doesn’t come in the birds getting a selection box for Christmas… Still no word back from UEFA…

  17. andy w 11 years ago

Hi Paul, I really like his style, rome wasnt built in a day. I may go and learn how to do percentages lol. Use some of my pot and try his way of betting. Thanks

  18. Striker 11 years ago

    Went for a 6-fold BTTS:

    Blackburn/Bolton
    Mgladbach/Wolfsburg
    Werder Bremen/Bayer Leverkusen
    St Johnstone/Hibernian
    Everton/Arsenal
    Swansea/West Brom

  19. Neil H 11 years ago

    Andy W

I noticed The Danes method aswell and having looked into it in more detail I have decided to try it myself. It should hopefully be less risk than other types as your bets are so spread out. On the other hand though I suppose you are not going to get any big wins. My aim is to start with a pot of £200 and use similar % to the dane for each bet. Depending on strength of the games involved you could use a percentage of say 2.5% of the pot for an even money bet and work of that. Then adjust this up and down depending on odds on or against. For this it looks like The Dane uses a formula. Maybe every 0.1 over or under evens he adds or subtracts 0.1 % for the amount to bet from the pot. Im going to give it a go and see how get on. Hopefully Fix It will keep up the good work and over time the pot will gradually increase and therefore the stakes placed will also be larger. Ill see how it goes though

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Neil H, one thing to remember if you do this is that he’s not taking big prices, always favourites, sometimes very short. He’s trying to reduce the risks and it takes a lot of patience. He won’t be doing my Super Singles or anything like that. Tonight for example it will be sides such as Man Utd or Celtic he’ll be looking at.

  21. The Dane 11 years ago

Mr. Fixit, I can assure you I’m investing in your Super Singles and every other suggestion you might have unless it’s a treble or double. And that’s a question of money management.

My aim are not to create a high yield but to increase my bankroll with a minimum risk. And for that I use my own equations. In that area I’m an expert – but have to turn to experts like you to find the right games to invest in.

Knowing numbers I’m aware that you’re having streaks of bad luck but that’s to be expected if you know your way around mathematics which I do. The secret are knowing how much to invest and when …

I have no problems with a loss tonight – I then know how much to invest tomorrow.

So I’m following you blind except for the doubles and trebles.

    The Dane.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Dane, fair enough. Hopefully I’ll give you more winning singles than losing ones.

    • andy w 11 years ago

Dane, Would it be possible for you to put up a run through of how your system works, i would like to try and learn more about it.

I am also not into trebles our accs.

So would like to understand your way of working

      Thanks Andy

  25. Ray 11 years ago

    Hi Fixit,
When you back a treble, as well as backing the straight treble, do you also perm it, say with a trixie bet? I was wondering, if I had a £50 stake to split across a straight treble and a trixie, how would you advise I split the stake? You’re advise is appreciated.
    Cheers.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Ray, I don’t usually perm the top treble because the odds aren’t good enough. If you do doubles and trebles for four bets the odds need to be higher for a decent return. I’d perm two out of three draws for example or two out of three first scorers. Stakes are entirely down to you.

  26. Ray 11 years ago

Sorry, that should have said Mr Fixit!

  27. Knottsy 11 years ago

After a good night last night was gonna put a ton on stoke @ 21/20 for £105 profit. Instead put 60 on them to win by 1 @ 11/4 (125 profit) and 40 on win by 2 @ 5/1 for 140 profit. Cant see stoke winning by 3 or more. Just hope they do frickin win!! Good luck all :)

  28. Striker 11 years ago

Premier league on fire tonight, done teams getting 1-2 goals in under 10 minutes! West Brom looking in trouble

Profit margins are taking into account putting on 2 bets adding up to 100.

    Comeon wolfberg score a goal

  32. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

Come on Wolfsburg, score a bloody goal!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, they’ve been on fire too. Should have kept with Augsburg who have scored but are losing.

  33. The Dane 11 years ago

Andy W, I’ll see how much I want to reveal but I’ll post my stakes the rest of the week using Mr. Fixits competent picks. And post the result at the end of the week as well.

One advice I can give you are to forget about yield. As long as an expert (like Mr. Fixit) do not have a negative yield there’s money to be made..It’s all about how much and when and accepting losing runs.

    The Dane.

  34. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

    Absolute balls

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, 7 out of 8, beaten by one again.

  35. andy w 11 years ago

Thanks the dane,If i hit a few losing bets do i up the percentages?? For tonite I have took 5 each to score and have 4 up at the moment, waiting on liverpool for a fifth.

Andy, you’ve been Baled out then.

  38. Mister Mr 11 years ago

My team Chelsea are beginning to look a bit desperate at the moment

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mister Mr, I know I said the last four meetings have been draws but Chelsea will cost punters a few quid. 0-0 for the second game running doesn’t look good for Rafa.

  39. Craig alves 11 years ago

rafa for the sack race 40/1 haha cld easily happen, need another RVP for fantasy but west brom done ma only coupon

  40. mr broke it 11 years ago

St johnston let me down for my btts, why did i pick spl!!!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr Broke It, just noticed St Johnstone missed a late pen so even unluckier.

  41. Jason 11 years ago

Good shout on the treble mate!! Nice 1!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Jason, thanks and glad I left Chelsea out of it.

  42. Jon 11 years ago

Wolfsberg was the villain for me tonight . With a top up on mr fixit btts with man city , man uth , athletico Madrid, stoke , Bayer Munich , Barcelona , and few other , it would have been a perfect night , anyway today was not my day

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Jon, unfortunately everything pointed to a Wolfsburg goal, past meetings, recent form etc. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

  43. The Dane 11 years ago

I find it difficult to complain about Mr. Fixit. 32 % profit today and 5.49 % more on the bankrool.

    See you tomorrow :-)

    The Dane.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Dane, top treble up, Euro treble up and one off the btts. Super Single was a bit of a gamble but as you know there will always be winners and losers.

  44. John 11 years ago

Just needed Wolfsburg to score tonight, i thought about doing Spurs v Liverpool but didn’t want liverpool to score

  45. Tony C 11 years ago

Cracking treble Paul, cheers m8 £10 on. Unlucky on the bts too.
Loving the trebles me lately mate.
They’re taking over as your signature bet now.
And mine thankfully but still favour the bts. Knock knock its coming Fixit.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Tony, in some ways the trebles are easier to get up because three short prices accumulate to one decent one whereas with the single I’m always looking at evens or above so never a cert.

  46. mr broke it 11 years ago

The dreaded cup games this weekend. Think I’ll be doing over 1.5 2.5 goals in those games

  47. AC 11 years ago

Bit of advice please Mr F or any that knows

It is in regards to withdrawing money from my bet365 account.

I set up my account last year using a debit card, this debit card is now no longer active and I have a new card, I have added my new card to my account but when i go to the withdraw money screen it only shows my old card and not my new one … Can i withdraw my money via my old card seeing as my actual account details are still the same or what would you suggest?

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Just update your new card m8 and use as per usual

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

AC, I see you’ve been sorted now but the advice would be to update your card details. Anytime you get a new card you have to do it.

  48. AC 11 years ago

I updated my new card to my account but on the withdraw screen it has my old card with no option to update my card … I used the instant messenger thing that bet 365 have (a brilliant idea) and it’s all sorted now.

Cheers for your help thou pal

  49. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

Next stake on btts betting will be as follows until I hit a winner:

    £100
    £150
    £200
    £250
    £300
    £350
    £400
    £450
    £500

    Surely a winner by then

  50. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

AC with regards to the withdrawal some of the online bookies state that all winning should be paid back to cards already used. All you have to do is tell them the other card is cancelled. It doesn’t really matter though, unless the cards are with different banks you will be fine, the money will find your way to the account even if the card is cancelled. The only time it results in a problem if they are wanting to pay the money back to a card with a bank that you don’t want the bank to have ie an overdrawn bank account!

  51. Jon 11 years ago

Dear chris , are you trying to apply martingale strategy ? Cause that looks like a very smart thing although you need to be brave,

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Jon, doesn’t half put the pressure on me. I still think he should perm them.

  52. Mr Chris Guy 11 years ago

Hi Jon no its just crazy betting mate. Martingale is when you double your stake and its very dangerous. Prob the worst betting strategy. Seen people losing an absolute fortune doing it on roulette.

  53. Nobby 11 years ago

Jasus Chris whose to say it might not come, are you going to do the English or Scottish BTTS? I wouldn’t fancy it

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Nobby, I’d do the Scottish ones. It might not come up but I’m sure it will. Anyway Chris has inspired me to look out the weekend Scottish Cup btts five early. It will give him and others time to size them up. Be posted soon.

  54. Neil H 11 years ago

Good night last night Fix it, some great tipping there. 1st night of doing the Danes strategy and up just under 40% of overall amount placed across all your tips. Just going by your tips though and adjusting stake accordingly to odds. Definately pays to look about though, particularly on the exchanges. Some of the difference in odds can be huge and looks like that can make a massive difference for a strategy like this. Also still putting a couple quid on side on your treble and BTTS as an accum. Just one off last night aswell that would made nice difference to bankroll.!!!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Neil H, obviously the bigger the stake the more important it is to get best price available so look at exchanges if that’s how you like to play or check out prices on betrescue or oddschecker.
