THERE were goals, goals, goals on Monday night and that meant winners, winners, winners.
My 5pts Super Single landed in the final minute when Eindhoven netted at Fortuna with Jong PSV v Top Oss already in. Need to rename then Top Scorers – the goals in their games are unreal.
I lost two points covering but while it’s annoying sometimes it’s the right decision at the time.
My both to score double was also covered but that only cost 0.5pts with my Italian games just needing Fiorentina to hit as they launched a comeback at Inter.
Greg’s nap and overs series bet for members won as did Jordan’s goals double.
And to complete a good night my members only bet won for the fifth day running – no wonder 50 people signed up over the weekend.
So well done to everyone who won on Monday and to all those who posted tips.
We’ll all hope to keep the winners running although Tuesday’s a night for low stakes if you’re betting on cup matches being played. I’ll post a preview on the two EFL Cup quarter-finals between Liverpool-Leeds and Hull-Newcastle.
Sheffield Utd face Walsall in League One and there are five William Hill Scottish Cup ties including St Mirren v Spartans in the Daily Record my Super Single is Saints to net three or more at 10-11 with Betfred against the Lowland League side.
Let’s hope National League experts will be out in force for a full card while there are cup ties in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and others. France has league games in the first and second division – Greg’s favourite.
Picked an RFO this morning to check stats and had a glance at the Racing Post. Like me they’re tipping Origi to score first so I’m risking it as a 1pt Super Single. It’s boom or bust for the singles and with two days to go an Origi first goal would give me a chance of wiping out losses.
The Top Treble starts with Liverpool who are short but OK for an accumulator. Likewise Torino, unbeaten at home this season, should beat Pisa in the Italian Cup with the manager saying he wants a good run and will field a strong team.
Monaco followed their 2-1 Champions League win against Spurs with a 4-0 defeat of Marseille in the league. They have won five in a row and netted 18 goals to move within a point of leaders Nice and should have too much for Dijon.
My only other bet today is a both to score treble taken on stats – and of course I’ve put up a members bet as I go for six in a row.
