IT was a winning day thanks to my 19-1 long shot – Ajax, Atalanta, Hertha Berlin and Paris St Germain.
I was so busy working on cup final at the Daily Record I couldn't advise cover on PSG after the first three won but thankfully it wasn't needed.
I wanted to get some tips up early for the Lazio game and while they won my SS was Lazio and btts and that game also bombed the both to score treble. All stats suggested loads of goals but maybe they didn't fancy the 11.30am start.
Plenty of hot favourites failed to win – the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, Nice, Man United and Villarreal – so the 19-1 winner was my only one and a welcome one. I much preferred my 23-10 Top Treble but that's the way it goes.
It leaves me 10pts up for the month on the accumulator and 10pts down in the Super Singles – and I aiming to wipe out that 10pt loss over the next three days.
My members bet won again and after four in a row I'm 13pts in profit for the month.
And I called the Betfred Cup Final pretty much correctly tipping Celtic and Tom Rogic to score.
Monday starts with an interesting card and I'm going to research the games in the morning before putting up tips.
In England it's Huddersfield v Wigan while there are two good games in Serie A – Napoli v Sassuolo and Inter v Fiorentina.
Las Palmas entertain Athletic Bilbao in Spain and there is a full card of Jupiler League games so watch out for goals tips.
Huddersfield should win but Wigan have suddenly become tough to beat and conceded five goals in six games – three of them to Reading – so I'm leaving it alone.
The Spanish game is tough to call so for a double I've decided to go with both to score in the Italian games. I'm more confident about Inter-Fiorentina with the home side likely to concede. Inconsistent Inter haven't found the right formula under new boss Stefano Piolo and the midweek 3-2 defeat at Hapoel Beer Sheva from 2-0 up was a shocker.
Fiorentina also suffered a shock Europa League defeat at home to PAOK but in Serie A they've been pretty solid losing just two games – one to champions Juventus. Picking a winner here isn't the best policy but but both teams are capable of scoring.
The bigger price is Napoli-Sassuolo simply because the visitors are as big as 10-1 to win the game. However, they have netted in all but one of their 22 matches this season with the exception being a 3-0 home defeat to on-form Atalanta.
Obviously Sassuolo have netted in all of their away encounters and with 10 goals in the road in Serie A is more than leaders Juventus.
Napoli don't have an out-and-out striker in the absence of Arkadiusz Milik and drew a blank against Dynamo Kiev in midweek, However, Sassuolo have conceded at least two goals in their last six games so I can't see the home men not hitting the target.
I could do with a Super Single winner so after spending some time looking at Dutch goals stats I've picked out a double. I wouldn't normally put this up at five points but needs must – so consider it carefully before deciding what to do.
First up it's over 2.5 goals at Jong PSV v Top Oss and Greg has highlighted Oss's stats recently. Their 15 matches have totalled 69 goals and nine of their last 10 went over 3.5 goals – the other was over 2.5. All three meetings between the sides in Eindhoven have totalled exactly four goals.
Next take over 1.5 goals at Fortuna v FC Eindhoven. Nine of the last 10 meetings have gone over 2.5 goals.
