IT was three bets and three losers on the Europa League – and I've got to admit it's a tournament that hasn't done me any favours down the years.
My Super Single was Krasnodar and they were a goal short against Red Bull Salzburg while my Top Treble was unlucky – Fenerbahce and Sparta Prague not to lose landed easily but Fiorentina surprisingly lost at home to PAOK.
The least said about the goals treble the better – picked the wrong ones. Simple as that.
One consolation was my members bet winning to return me to profit for the month and well done to Jordan on his two Anderlecht winners.
I'm still in profit with the accumulators but need to do better with the Super Singles and I'll be looking to clear wipe out the losses before the end of the month.
Friday as usual sees me concentrating on my Saturday pages for the Daily Record and once I finish them I hope to have some time late morning to look at today's card.
The English game is a tough one to call between Barnsley and Nottingham Forest while in Spain it's Eibar v Real Betis and surprise Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig travel to Freiburg. That sees an unbeaten side face a team that hasn't drawn a game.
There is Greg's favourite French Ligue 2 games and the goal-laden Jupiler League matches as well as Bruges v Mechelen in the Belgian top flight.
I haven't had much time to look at today's card but as I need to do better on the Super Singles have decided to go with Leipzig to score 2+.
They have netted 2+ in five of their last six including three at Leverkusen and two at Darmstadt. The only time they missed out was when winning 1-0 at Wolfsburg and their form shows no signs of slowing up.
Freiburg have a good home record with four wins out of so have to be respected but RB are top scorers on the road with 13 and love playing quickly on the counter.

It will be interesting to see who is going to play for Jong Ajax tonight. I think it’s going to be a very young team. Most of their star players played in the Europa League yesterday. Van de Beek (10 games), De Ligt (10), De Jong (12), Nouri (12), Cerny (13), Clement (13) and Cassiera (5) will not be in the squad tonight. These 7 players scored a total of 26 goals for them this season, that’s 2/3 of their total goals.
They are playing against mid table Telstar. I watched Telstar playing in the game against my team Den Bosch and they look solid at the back, especially away from home. They only conceded 7 goals away from home this season (including a 3-0 defeat) and only lost 1 of their last 5 away. They were beaten 2-1 with a 89 minute winner in their last away game at leaders MVV.
Telstar is not the best team you want to see in this fixture. I was thinking about backing them DC, but backing them +1 on the asian handicap sees the stake being refunded if they lose by 1 goal.

It’s all about the team news, I think it will be available in the afternoon. There are quite some players who were in Spain in midweek. De Wijs played the second half in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid. Lunqvist played a couple of minutes and Jozefzoon was on the bench. Carolina, Verreth, Rigo and topscorer Lammers played in the Uefa Youth league game. Jong PSV also played on Monday, so I can imagine players being rested.

Goal before 20 mins 5 fold @ 0.5 pts; 5x 4folds @0.25pt
Goal before 30mins 5fold @ 2pts

If you hit all 5 which I’m convinced I’ll manage before the end of the season you are talking at least £2000 up to £4000 for leagues such as Seria B, French Ligue 2

Picked up some form towards the end of the month but haven’t gone through figures for a couple of weeks with the quiet international break. Anyway onto today and I’m on two Premier League teams just to grab a goal away from home. West Brom and Crystal Palace travel to Hull and Swansea respectively. Hull have hit a rough patch after their good start with two points from their last ten games. With only one clean sheet they’ll do well to keep out a West Brom team who blitzed Burnley on Monday and beat Leicester at the King Power before the international break.
Palace at Swansea are the two worst form teams in the league with two points combined in their last five games. Swansea only have two clean sheets this season, only one at home, conceding 2+ in the other five. Palace have seriously dipped with five losses on the bounce, but worth noting they’ve scored six goals in their last four, only failing to score once in their last ten league games. Worth a note that the least three Premier League games between these two at the Liberty have ended 1-1 which pays 6/1 at best @ William Hill.
