IT'S great to be back to normal with a full card of football across Europe.
To be fair we all did OK during the international break and I know bookies had a stinker of a weekend.
My Super Single balance is close to moving into profit while my Advised Accas are in profit – and really it should be the other way round.
Here is my Super Single shortlist taken from a first look at the coupon and without checking team news which I will do later.
Included is Sean Ireland's suggestion of Plymouth HT/Plymouth FT based on the fact in 10 of their 12 wins out of 17 games they have been leading at half-time and full-time.
For now the team that interest me most is Falkirk at QoS while Rangers handicaps have to be looked at against a Livingston side who could only muster seven players at training yesterday.
Sean's comment is on the Your Team Your Call post among many other good ones and I believe this thread can be invaluable with fans putting up tips and thoughts on their own team. if you comment on the new forum you can win a £10 bet and 2 SPFL tickets.
Also on the new forum I'll be putting up a Saturday Super Super Single that pays at least 2-1.
Super Single Shortlist
VARDY (Leicester) score at Newcastle
BRENTFORD v Nottm Forest
Bristol City v HULL
MK Dons v FULHAM
COVENTRY & over 2.5 match goals v Gillingham
PLYMOUTH HT/FT v Exeter
GRIFFITHS (Celtic) to score first v Killie
Queen of the South v FALKIRK
Falkirk to score in both halves
Livingston v RANGERS -2
Anybody any thoughts on millwall this weekend
greenfeet, I’ve got Millwall/Colchester as part of my Saturday BTTS treble. Millwall has lost 50% of their home games this season, but equally Colchester has come away empty handed in 5 of their 8 aways, so I’m not calling the WDW but feel comfortable with both sides netting.
Got to be Over 2.5 goals at Gigg for me Mr F…21/20
Where’s Gigg ? Bury ?
Oozie – Gigg Lane – Bury…very much like the San Siro (with a few more terraced houses around it)
NEWPORT v Yeovil
Although 21st and 23rd respectively at the foot of League Two, a resurgent Newport are enjoying themselves of late and should see off a Yeovil side without a league win since scraping the spoils at Crawley two months ago.
NEWPORT (6/5 Coral)
St.Johnstone at Dundee.U and Stirling at Queens P.
Stagger took my thoughts exactly !
Also news that Clarke is staying at Reading should be considered as positive for backing them vs a poor skint bolton !
Re Vardy ….. Word of warning…..he is not 100% fit – maybe avoid.
kingdingaling, word is Vardy will play with a painkilling injection – but you’re correct to post the warning.
Vardy will play, vardy will score. Leicester to win by one. 2-1 me thinks
Come on you blues
Glad we’re on the same wavelength, kingdingaling!
Swansea ?
Short odds but looks likely to me….chelski n rangers at about evens. Chelsea surely beat Norwich n rangers as strong as it gets.. Hopefully a reasonably secure double ya money bet
exiledgooner, should be fine. Mourinho says Chelsea “will” beat Norwich and Livingston have serious injury problems.
