I remember Jordan saying last year that he prefers betting on team sports over horse racing, individual sports cos if 1 player is not feeling well or has a bad day then the rest of team can still get them over the line…which is true (proven by all my Tennis losses!!!).
Doing prop bets kind of turns it into an individual sport in a sense. I’m sticking to spreads again, no more props for me.

Sassari last season weren’t a bad team at all but so far this season they’ve looked pretty sub-standard. In all five games they lost by 10 or more points. They are also underachieving in the Italian league.
Darussafaka have come into a bit of money recently and gave managed to put together a team which look like challanging for the Turkish league. In the Euroleague they have 3 wins and 2 losses and they will be desperate to record a result here which will set them in good stead for progressing through group D. Sassari are all but out and look demoralised. I think Darussafaka will win by at least 3 points.

Tough one Oriaz, Sassari lost this one in overtime in the reverse fixture. Darussafaka have been improving since then and Sassari still haven’t found their feet. I’ve been really impressed with Darussafaka over their last few games (notably Tel Aviv) but they are the travelling side. Can see them winning this comfortably but would recommend smaller stakes on your Spread.

Prop betting has its ups and downs. For me its more than just looking at a players stats and hoping that they’ll match what they’ve done recently. You have to determine how you think the game is going to pan out. How many minutes they play, how many field goal/3pt attempts they shoot per game or their field goal percentage. Assists are mostly guess work. Rebounds you have to see how much the opponents shoot outside the paint. NFL easier but still need to know what you’re doing. Tonight I’m thinking Jack assists but PP have notched them up to 7.5, Jimmy Butler points (Rose is a game time decision and Brooks is out) Mirotic points but he’s very inconsistent, will have to hit his 3’s if they want to stay in the game against the Warriors. Gonna go for a treble tonight instead.

This should be a closley contested match. The Seagulls are 6 from 10 and sit second in the league while Kauhajoen are won 5 from 9 and sit in 5th place. As the league standings show, this should be a close game with more focus on defensive play than usual. Expect some mistakes from both sides! Seagulls should control the tempo and they are very defensive minded compared to most in the league. I think this could be a low scoring game and quite like the totals line.

Wurzburg have been a revelation so far this season winning 6 out of their first 7 games. Tuebingen on the other hand have been mediocre, winning 3 and losing 5. Wurzburg were promoted this season and I dont expect their impressive start to continue in this fashion and expect the Tigers to bring them back down to reality with a home win here. It has to be noted that the Tigers have never defeated Wuzburg at home but I’m expecting them to put that right with a home win.
