I’M tempted to start the line with Spartak Moscow v Barcelona but it’s an early kick-off and I want to make sure you get a run for your money later on.

That was the case on Sunday when my four afternoon games came in, leaving Bordeaux and Marseille needing to score for the fivefold. Marseille missed out but many people profited by laying the bet off.

Barca have kept just two clean sheets in nine and won 3-2 against Spartak in the Nou Camp so I’ll let you decide whether to include it or not.

My fivefold starts with Valencia v Bayern Munich where the winner is guaranteed qualification while a draw will see both through depending on how BATE fare against Lille.

It was 2-1 to Bayern in Gemany and you have two sides who love to attack and grab goals. While it could well be a draw I think it will be a scoring one because I don’t see either side sitting back.

Valencia have won seven in a row at home and in their last Champions League game in Spain they beat BATE 4-2. Robert Soldado has netted 15 in his last 14 starts in this tournament while Bayern have goals throughout the team and welcome back Frank Ribery and Mario Gomez.

My second choice from the Champions League is Juventus v Chelsea. Again it could be a draw but it surely won’t be 0-0 with both sides fighting with Shakhtar or the top two spots.

It was 2-2 at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea’s last nine matches have seen both sides score with three games going over 4.5 goals. Juve, possibly with one eye on this tie, were surprisingly held 0-0 at home to Lazio at the weekend but prior to that hit 10 in two games against Pescara and Nordsjaelland and are top scorers in Serie with 29 from 13 matches.

Now to England and I read a stat at the weekend about Brunton Park fans seeing most goals in the English League so far this season. Unfortunately most of the 34 have gone against Carlisle, including four against Orient at the weekend.

Carlisle are back in home action tonight as they entertain a Doncaster side with six wins on the road, the joint highest in the country.

I can see Doncaster winning again but should conceded as Carlisle have netted in their last six, including 10 in their last four home outings.

Stay in League One with Preston v Notts County, two sides vying for a place in the top six. Five of Preston’s last six have seen both score while Notts County have netted in five out of six including exactly two in their last three away trips.

Complete the line in the Scottish Second Division with Forfar v QoS. It doesn’t matter who Forfar play just now – they lose goals.

The Loons have conceded 17 in six games, including five in two Scottish Cup ties against Highland League Nairn, but crucially have netted three in each of their last three games and scored in five of their last six.

Queens wih three wins in a row and goals in their last six are expected to pick up the points but conceded two at Arbroath at the weekend so there are question marks over the leaders’ defence.

For anyone whose bookie doesn’t do btts on the Scottish game substitute with Hyde v Alfreton from the Blue Square Premier or alternatively Scunthorpe v Bury from League One.

Both teams to score

Valencia v Bayern Munich

Juventus v Chelsea

Carlisle v Doncaster

Preston v Notts County

Forfar v Queen of the South (7.30)

Stevo, it’s not one of my top selections but as I’ve said any game can bring this up. I’m not sure how Man Utd will perform. It’s meaningless and as we know the likes of Rooney and van Persie won’t play but that wiill give others a chance to shine.
