NOVEMBER started with one winner and one loser so can’t really argue with that.
The Super Single was Barcelona to win and I’m still wondering why I picked Lionel Messi to score for yesterday’s Daily Record and changed it for the site.
My Top Treble wasn’t posted in the paper and that won thanks to St Mirren’s late consolation at Morton. Besiktas v Napoli btts, Morton v St Mirren btts and Benfica to win paid 15-4. The Portuguese were the only side to keep a clean sheet in the Champions League so well done to those who targeted goals.
Greg Browning had a mixture of winners and losers but Jordan’s Napoli tips didn’t land. I saw good winners all over the site and well done to Danny who was on Celtic to score a penalty at 16-1 and to miss one at 50-1. I was almost willing Moussa Demeble to fluff his kick just to bring up the bigger odds.
Wednesday sees another eight Champions League ties and I’ve posted a separate preview. For a Super Single I’ve decided to go with an evens-money double – Dortmund at home to Sporting and Real Madrid -1 at Legia Warsaw.
The Top Treble is both to score at Copenhagen v Leicester, Sevilla to score 2+ at home to Dinamo Zagreb and Bayer Leverkusen to avoid defeat against Spurs at Wembley.
