NOVAK DJOKOVIC and Roger Federer both cruised to day-one wins at the World Tour Finals and today sees Andy Murray headline the 02 action.
The British No.1 has made it clear his priority is next week’s Davis Cup Final but he should still make a winning start against David Ferrer who has lost four in a row to the Scot.
Murray is 10-29 at Sportingbet while Ferrer is a 16-5 shot at Stan James. Murray dispatched the Spaniard in straight sets in Paris earlier this month and he’ll be keen to do so again to conserve energy, so Murray 2-0 looks the shout at 31-40 with Sportingbet.
In the other group game Stan Wawrinka bids to maintain his recent good h2h record over Rafa Nadal. Wawrinka has won three of the last four meetings – including in Paris this month – and is 7-10 favourite at Sportingbet with the Spaniard chalked up at 11-8 by Paddy Power.
In tonight’s NFL action Cincinnati Bengals aim to continue their perfect start to the season when they host Houston Texans and there’s also half a dozen NBA matches.
