IT was a good day but it was so nearly a great day. My profit was just under 3.5pts even though I suffered a succession of near misses.
My 3pts Super Single won thanks to Peterhead but the 1pt long shot of Carlisle was beaten. Sheffield Utd tripped up the Top Treble and 5 Homes but four correct landed a 10-1 winner.
Three out of four on the aways thanks to Wigan, Plymouth and Peterhead produced another 10-1 winner with Carlisle again doing me for a 47-1 cracker. I know people had problems with cashout today but I advised looking at when Carlisle were drawing and the other three had won or were leading.
Elsewhere it was a cracking day for Greg Browning whose nap won at 8-11 inside about 20 minutes and he had three out of four on his other goals tips.
Desmond's 2+ goals double won at 5-2 thanks to Peterborough and Sheffield Utd and of course Johnb's Nap was a winner too.
So it was a good day overall for the site and well done everyone who put up winners. The new site is less than a week old and some teething problems are being sorted out so please be patient with us.
On Sunday we the first second-leg of the Euro 2016 play-offs as Hungary entertain Norway leading 1-0 and there are five African World Cup qualifiers.
In League Two we have Hartlepool v Orient and Portsmouth v Wimbledon and there's not much else unless you look below the radar.
Hungary-Norway looks another unders game and the two English are tough to call. I've read previews on all the African ties and the only consistent view I can see is unders at Eq Guinea v Morocco. Serie B I don't know enough about to learn in a couple of hours but check out the tips put up by Italian Nik.
Anyway I said I'd risked 1pt on an accumulator so I'm taking both to score at Portsmouth with Wimbledon a forward-thinking side who haven't keep a clean sheet in their last 16 on the road. Pompey are missing six players including top scorer Matt Tubbs so btts is a better option than WDW.
There are a lot of tips for Norway and Norway to qualify and they were the better team in Oslo and would have won if they'd taken their chances. It's a tough one to take but as they have to score to have any chance I'm doubling up with Norway over 0.5 teams goals.

I am having small stakes in Norway to qualify . 12/5 at bet victor. I know the tie is in favour of Hungry at the minute but I can see hungry conceding tomorrow and it may take extra time but I feel Norway will have enough to go through . It’s not a full stats write up I am afraid as its more a gut feeling having watched the first leg re run I don’t know how hungry got away without conceding . The away goal will go out the window if Norway score first and that will set up decent cover I would imagine . Anyway best of luck guys
Having watched Norway’s finishing the other night I’d be quite happy taking them to score under 0.5TG. Hungary had some technically decent players going forward but won’t push too hard to leave themselves open at the back. Under 2.5 match goals looks nailed on and under 1.5 might be worth a go IMO.

They are strong at home but all it needs is a Norway goal to change everything.

My thinking is they will be a lot less cautious knowing they have already conceded the away goal they will have to go for a goal themselves it may leave them open to the counter but if they grab the goal it will make a big difference in the tie and how the remainder of the game is played out . Just my opinion though and in sport anything can happen .

More of a gut instinct here but that’s served me better over the last day. Norway have to go for it. They won the corner game 16-0 in the first leg and if they don’t score early I can see Hungary sitting back and trying to hold their 1-0 lead as they didn’t get much in Norway despite coming away with the vital away goal. Another goal would of course see more cause for concern for the Norwegians. Ultimately they do have the better squad to turn this around. Whether they can I don’t know, but I think they can get this total in the process of trying to qualify for the tournament.

Just a comment on the 365 cashout problem yesterday I too had an issue as had £20 on a fourfold that would of returned £300 and tried to cashout for just over £70 with 20 mins left as shef utd looked like a dead rubber but couldn’t cashout so did the live chat bit this morning and they gave me a £40 cash bonus which was double my stake so fair play.by way and far the best bunch to deal with IMO!
So taking the £40 and hitting niks tip with it as already had that one earmarked for today.

Day off yesterday as had a marathon to run. Managed to get on Wonder Greg’s tips though for the NAP and a fourfold O1.5mg acca.
A double and small stakes treble today. Three games to look at are Amberg v Greuther Furth in Germany Regionalliga at 1300, both teams score and concede in equal measures and average over 3 goals a game between them. Next up are a favourite of mine, top of the table Eupen in Belgium 2 at 1400 at home to third place Tubize, again stats would promise goals but am erring on the side of caution with O1.5mg. Lastly I have Helsingor in Denmark 1 at 1400. Helsingor have scored 1 in 6 and are up against a pretty mean home defence in Fredericia so am going with Helsingor not to score. Have considered this as a SS at 5/4 but is always a risky bet so am going to add it on to the double to hopefully make a nice treble.

@simpledxb Yes +0.00 is the same as draw no bet. The only difference (like in the goal line market) is that prices are usually higher on Asian Lines and also if you are stake big there are more money available to back.

Not much stands out in the Hungary v Norway game tonight, but Norway need to score to have any chance of qualification after a shock 1-0 defeat in the home leg on Thursday night.
A look through the Norway squad and you wonder where the goals are going to come from. 13 goals in 10 qualifiers, and only 2 players scored more than once. Bournemouth’s Joshua King scored 2 in 6 appearances in the group stage and Norwich’s Alexander Tettey with 3 goals in 10.
It’s worth noting that 2 of Tettey’s 3 goals came in the last 2 group games, in which he scored first in both in games at home to Malta, and away to Italy.

After a late start and missing most of the footy card today, I managed to get in a 1/7 on the Hercules game in lower league Spain. Luckily I did most of my research last night rather than do my research as soon as I woke up . ( bad night of sleep + meds = 3-4hrs of feeling like a bear with a sore head when I wake, so not in great shape to make logical choices at that time ).
Anyway I stuck with my last nights pre-selection and the Hercules game has delivered at least one goal for each side.
I have decided to avoid a big game in South America ( Cruzeiro v Sport Recife ) – they have 2x 0-0’s in their last 2 meetings even though the bookies have Cruzeiro as the home favourite. I have tipped a Guatamalan game @ 20:30hrs kickoff in my betting challenges thread for anyone following that.
Between us we’re managing to pick up a string of small winners each day and our betting bank is growing steadily.

If Norway’s finishing is like the last game they won’t score and at 2/1 I’ll quite happily have a punt on that. I agree that Norway will probably clock up the corners as per last game so the corner market is very appealing.
I reckon Hungary will sit in quite tight (they weren’t very expansive in Norway and still got the 1-0 victory) and it will be up to the Norwegians to break them down. From what I saw Norway huffed and puffed, should have scored but ultimately were absolutely atrocious. Tight uninteresting game and I fancy a 0-0 or Hungary to nick a late goal on the counter.

Brooky like I said mate its not about knowing anything I just thought the game might have played out that way. They were always going to have to push and after the 16 corners in the first leg it was a chance I was willing to take.
Game went how I said it could go but ultimately you can’t necessarily have reasoning for corners. Pure gut feeling and a bit of luck.

Any tips for tonight lads ?
We’ve managed to pick off a couple of winning overs in our betting challenge/strategy and a few of us appear to be second guessing each-others picks which I find quite surreal.
Tonight hasn’t been the most fruitful largely due to me making a late start but all bets placed have landed.
About half an hr ago, every in-play match on bet365 – apart from one that had kicked off 5 mins prior had at least one goal in. Well over 25 games. On later inspection. That lone match also yielded a goal.
We had a guatamalan game on our radar and sadly bet365 never opened up the match as a betting option. That game was 0-2 at halftime, so this strategy has some potential.
Anyway, some days are like that but a gain is a gain and our challenge marches onto tomorrow. I was hoping for a bit more meat on the bone for post-midnight matches but sadly theres not a lot going on.
Being part of the little group – theres about 20 of us following it so far is really helping us to stay on script.
Any picks I see that might grab peoples attention will be posted in that thread first and if I remember, I shall also post in that days specific general forum.

Mr fix it – When I contacted bet365 they stated to me that as I didn’t query the bet and cash out writhing 3 hours there is nothing they can do ?? Is this correct ?
Bastino, I haven’t heard that rule but it could be down to their discretion.
If I have any problems with cashout I fire them off an email and a screenshot right away so they can see the offer was there and I wanted to take it.

I think you should email them to ask for more details about the 3-hour rule and where on this site can this info be found.
