TODAY'S the day – England v Scotland at Wembley and it doesn't get much better than that.
I've posted a separate preview on the World Cup qualifier and it's a difficult one for me to write because I'd love Scotland to win but can't see it happening.
Other matches include France v Sweden, Liechtenstein v Italy, San Marino v Germany and Northern Ireland v Azerbaijan.
My Super Single is one I can't resist – returning Scotland enforcer Scott Brown to be carded at Wembley.
Another Super Single is one I hope can eat into my losses and covers today and tomorrow. It's difficult finding value when so many of the favourites looks so short but I like the look of France to win, Germany to win to nil at San Marino and tomorrow over 2.5 goals at Spain v Macedonia.
My Top Treble starts with Robert Lewandowski to score away to Romania. The Bayern Munich star has netted nine in his last eight games and four in Poland's previous two.
Add Slovakia to beat Lithuania at home. Lithuania have been difficult to beat recently and ended their goal drought with a 3-0 home win over Scotland last time out. They should edge a win that will put them back in the hunt in Group F.
Complete the treble with under 2.5 goals at Northern Ireland v Azerbaijan. Both are “unders” sides with only a 4-0 win against San Marino going over. Azerbaijan don't give much away and again just one of their last six have gone over 2.5 goals.
Yesterday I put up a treble that was beaten by Paraguay losing heavily at home to Peru. Brazil as expected beat Argentina but it was easier than anticipated and they look a really good side just now.
Argentina are in danger of not qualifying and need a big display against Colombia on Tuesday while Brazil travel to Peru in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

@davc – Be wary of PP sending you an email of there T&C anytime before kickoff with a ridiculous new price that you can either accept or have the bet cancelled. Been screwed by them before with a 3/1 shot that ended up getting paid out at 1/4. Had no problems with Coral though.
No goal scorer might be worth a pop at 9/1 at Skybet. Neither the English nor the Scots want a bore 0-0 draw but neither side instilled confidence. Our strikers lack game time and I wouldn’t be that surprised to see Rashford get the nod maybe on the left and Sturridge getting the striking berth. Get Heaton in the nets and give Keane his debut and we will have solid foundations. It’s all a matter of whether we can score, the pressure is on!

Had my Friday fiver bet on England 0 Scotland 1 correct score at 18-1.
This is gut feeling as on form it has the look of a 0-0 draw.
Scotland have no top class strikers and England have more choice of strikers, but with a timid coach like Southgate [joke appointment if he gets the job], they will play in their usual scared way, worrying more about losing rather than playing to win and the crowd will get on their backs and the away jock fans will inspire a dog’s of war performance and a late winner from Snodgrass. Well, that’s the plan anyway.

Most Scots want Strachan out, so a draw will only prolong the inevitable, but what do they expect. Fletcher, Griffiths, Martin and Naishmith, 3 of those “strikers” play in the Championship, and the other plays in the top tier in the SPL against Championship level defences, if not league 1 defences. Scott Brown as decided to come out of retirement, he didn’t mentioned how long for, I suspect for these two games, if he is the answer than good luck. Charlie Adam plays for a bottom half PL club, yet he cant get in the Scotland team never mind the squad.. Seriously???
My Nap is England/O1.5g 3/4BetStars and my NB is Sturridge 13/10. The reason is simple the Scotland defence is woeful. None of them play for a PL side, yep not even Sunderland or Burnley. They conceded to GIBRALTAR ;-) don’t forget conceding against Malta. If we score early we could run riot against this lot, although I suspect needing a win Strachan will still park the bus. England are the superior nation and will break them down, to end their faint hopes of qualifying and give us time needed heading into 2017 to gel and mould a team ready to compete in Russia.

I put on a ante post season long acca a couple of months ago which pays off £1,300 from a tenner if successful the only team letting me down so far are Burnley as I tipped them to go down.
Been a bit more ambitious with the signings this time around. Can see why many would believe we were nailed on for relegation. hopefully get one or two in January to inject a bit more pace in the squad. Is the cash out any good, if I was you I’d take it ?

Afternoon all , I would like to start off by saying how good it is to have an England Scotland game again. Seems a lot of folk have a bit of a downer on Scotlands chances. I feel Scotland will definitely get chances in this game. England tend to throw in quite a few sub standard performances . Add to that a goalkeeper that lacks concentration , a captain that is half the player he once was , another FA yes man in the hot seat and a general group of over rated players that would get walloped by at least half of the twenty premier league sides. Not a game for going mad an trying to win loads of dough. So just a few speculative bets for me:

Though is a game that Romania must win, I think Romania will be a waiting game and will try to hit on the counterattack. Poland is the top level of the game and force of the group, but Romania may offset by a very good organization, Romania can speculate the errors in a defensive that conceded 5 goals in 3 matches. I think Poland will settle with a draw as they will play away at Montenegro in March and in June will play at home with Romania. Similar thoughts as a few others regarding the Scotland game. Both teams are poor but England are slightly better especially at Wembley. Only putting a small bet on and the only reason I’m putting it on is because I want Lee Wallace to do well and his odds to score anytime are quite big.
