FOR a quiet Tuesday it wasn't a bad night. My 13-10 Super Single landed as did my 2pts both to score double.
Greg Browning marked his new site debut with two winners out of two and I felt for Desmond who saw Cheltenham crack five but was beaten for a 2+ double by Bromley netting just once. The bet though could have been covered as their strike came before half-time.
There was also a winner on my new Betting Club feature but for Bet of the Day I went with Desmond's Bromley bet so that was down – and if we'd known the latest team news we wouldn't have bet on Bromley.
Thanks for all the contributions and remember to check the forum for additional tips and comments. For anyone mulling over whether to become a Gold member it's worth pointing out you'd already have won more than £35 by backing the Super Single, Goals Double and Betting Club single.

Wednesday's even quieter than Tuesday with two JP Trophy matches to look at and one National League game.
There are a couple of African World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies as well as Under-21 and Under-19 Euro ties.
I've researched as many as possible and while the sensible approach would be to make it a no-bet day I'm taking a chance on a 2pts Super Single that is in reality a treble. Please don't back it if you have any concerns.
Start with under 2.5 goals in the Estonia v Georgia friendly. Both nations are “unders” sides – they don't concede easily but struggle to score. Look at the stats – only two of Estonia's last 16 internationals have gone over 2.5 goals and both were 3-0 defeats.
Georgia performed OK in Scotland's tough group but if you ignore their wins against Gibraltar – and we could put together a Mr Fixit's XI and beat the side from the Rock – they haven't netted more than once since beating the mighty Saudi Arabia 11 games ago.
Add over 0.5 Aldershot goals at home to Lincoln. This is a tough National League game to call but there should be goals. I wouldn't put anyone off both to score but with Lincoln conceding five at Whitehawk in the FA Cup I'm playing safe for this treble with Aldershot to net at any time.
Complete the bet with Croatia U-21s to beat San Marino U-21s to nil in their Euro qualifier. In three games this campaign the Croats haven't conceded while San Marino haven't scored. In fact the minnows have played 10 matches since beating Wales in September, 2013 without hitting the target.
I looked at handicap bets but the line is set at -4 or -5 and it seems more of a 3-0 or 4-0 home win when the stats are considered.
If full markets are released later for the Cove Rangers v Rothes game in the Highland League I might add a tip. Cove lie top with 14 wins out of 14 and face a side who collected their first point of the season at the weekend at home to Buckie after 15 successive losses.
We often talk of “new boss bounce” but this was like a leap across the Niagara Falls as Fraser Bremner's arrival sparked an amazing turnaround. However, a trip to Cove is as tough as it gets.
Rothes have conceded 86 goals in 16 games and have lost 11 in a row to Cove losing an average of 4.5 goals. Bookies will know this and I can't see them giving much away. Also if this game was played in my back yard it would be rained off so hopefully the weather up north is a bit better.
Finally, as we know team news is vital. Santa Cruz are second best home side in the league and have only conceded 13 goals in 17 home games.
In the same number of homes, 3rd best America MG have conceded 14, 5th best Sampaio Correo have conceded 12 and 6th best (and top overall) Botafogo RJ have conceded 10. So, they’re all of a similar defensive ability…
In their last five aways, Oeste have scored each time, and, yes, you got it, three of those games were against America MG, Sampaio Correo and Botafogo RJ.
BTS is Evens, but possibly not worth the additional risk for not much additional payback.

Anyone looking for a BTTS bet today might look at this match with Olomouc v Jihlava. Both sides are from the top league but this is the second round of the MOL Cup. The reason it looks good for BTTS is all 6 of Olomouc’s home games have finished with both scoring while Jihlava have scored in their last 7 away trips keeping only 2 clean sheets in that period. I think both will score today but also think Olomouv will edge it. They won here in the league 2:1 in September and also won away in the first leg 1:0. Small stakes for me again mainly because a draw would do Olomouc.

I think it’s a shame that teams (particularly in League One) think like this. Okay it’s a bit of a mickey mouse cup but it’s an opportunity for lesser clubs to get to Wembley.
When Wolves came down a couple of years ago I was devastated we went out like we did, to Walsall, playing a second string side.
We was always favourite to win League One, didn’t get out of 2nd gear for the majority of the season and still cruised it. There was no excuse in my eyes for us not to have taken the competition a little more seriously than we did. Especially when you consider that year would have been 25 years since we last won it in ’88.
Out of all the West Midlands clubs we will now have that unwanted record of being the last club to get to the new Wembley. Blues, Villa, West Brom and yes even Walsall have been. We’re still awaiting our appearance and unfortunately I have a feeling we could be waiting a few more years for that privilege.
indeed a shame but in no way can our current squad maintain a league and cup challenge. Our priority has to be promotion/playoffs. Last night exposed are relatively slim squad
Completely understand that clubs with smaller squads have to prioritise promotion pushes but in the instance of us we had a decent squad for that level so a few chopping and changes for a few selected league games wouldn’t have affected us. No excuses for us, we should have taken it more seriously.
Just a word of warning about the Croatian u21 game. Looking at recent results it seems as though the most they have lost recently is 5-0. Other scores have tended to be 3,4-0.
It’s also worth noting that Croatia won 3-0 in the first game between the teams and all 3 goals were scored before HT. It may be a case they wanted to get the job done first half which means they eased off in the second.
Whilst looking at the group I notice Spain meet Georgia tomorrow (first games was 5-2 Spain) and looks likely for goals.
On results I would say Estonia possibly look weaker than San Marino in this u21 group.
craigboy, it’s what I said – personally I don’t fancy the handicap but we’ll see.
Regardless, I’ll be on the first half Asian handicap in favour of the Croatians……couple of names I recognise in the starting line-up….They should at least carry a two goal advantage into halftime so I’ll be taking the Asian handicap of -1.5 or 2.0.

Those odds don’t seem great, I got 1.65 on Oxford to win on its own.
What site or betting company was that? Oxford were below evens on Ladbrokes which was understandable due to oxfords positions in the table and dag & red sitting bottom of league two having won 1 game

Bristol Rovers played and lost tonight and have a poor home record but it’s another long trip for Carlisle after last week.
