IT was three out of five on both my lines on Saturday so that was a bit disappointing.

For Sunday I’m starting with Newcastle v West Ham which should be a cracking contest.

Newcastle just about always score at home and the likes of Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba are a handful for any defence.

The Hammers bring to town ex-Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce and former players Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan who will all be keen to get a result. There have 12 goals in the last three meetings with both scoring in each of them.

Next try Hibs v Dundee Utd – a fixture that has seen both score in their last eight meetings.

Hibs have been superb this season with Leigh Griffiths banging them, including a double against St Mirren last week, and he could well be on the scoresheet again.

United seem to have recovered from a blip in form and have skipper Jon Daly back in attack and wing king Gary Mackay-Steven fit again. They have netted in their last five and I can see them scoring at Easter Road but probably losing.

I wouldn’t talk anyone out of putting in an all-British line and adding Chelsea-Liverpool, Man City-Spurs and Bristol City v Charlton.

All three have a chance but for the third leg of this line I’m going continental and taking Mallorca v Barcelona. This won’t surprise anyone who watched them to lose to Celtic in the Champions League in midweek and Mallorca have hit the target in three of the last four match-ups.

Barca’s defence doesn’t inspire confidence, especially if Javier Mascherano remains at centre-half, and they have conceded eight in five La Liga away games. The maestros have won all those because they usually outscore opponents so while they should win the game I expect them to let at least one in.

Next look at the Rome derby which has seen both score in four out of six meetings. Lazio suffered a nightmare 4-0 defeat at Catania in their last Serie A outing but receovered to beat Panathinaikos in the Europa League in midweek.

There have been seven goals in their last two home games and 17 in the last four meetings of the sides. Roma’s last four league games have produced 21 goals with both teams to scoring in each (4-1, 2-3, 2-3 and 4-2).

Finally, add Wolfsburg v Bayer Leverkusen, a fixture that’s seen both score in the last six meetings. Four of those games have finished 3-2 as have Bayer’s last two matches against Fortuna Dusseldorf and Arminia.

Both teams to score

Newcastle v West Ham (3pm)

Hibs v Dundee Utd (12.45pm)

Mallorca v Barcelona (4.50pm)

Lazio v Roma (2pm)

Bayer Leverkusen v Wolfsburg (2.30pm)
