EVERTON will be on loads of accumulators this weekend and form the backbone of my top treble.

I’ve already explained my reasons there for backing Davie Moyes’ men against Sunderland but suffice to say I expect another good display and three points from the Goodison side who are threatening a top-four finish.

The Toffees are pretty short and I’ll add another big favourite in Man Utd at Aston Villa. United haven’t lost in the league at Villa Park since 1995-96 and face a side struggling for points and goals.

Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney were both on target in the midweek Champions League success in Braga and could find the net again. I expect United to win by at least two.

Next up I’m on Millwall who are a decent price to beat Derby at home. The Lions are on an unbeaten run of seven games and are especially strong at home.

There were some tired legs when they were held 0-0 at Watford in midweek but before that they’d netted 11 in three games.

Derby have won their last two but both were at home against Barnsley and Blackpool. Their last road trip resulted in a 3-0 defeat at Peterborough and a repeat of that show will see them mauled by the Lions.

Coventry are another side on my treble and I’m confident Mark Robins’ men will make it three wins in a row as the feelgood factor returns to the Ricoh Arena. Scunthorpe are struggling in the bottom three and their fortunes were summed up by a terrible 4-0 defeat at League Two Gillingham in the FA Cup last weekend.

Complete the line with Inverness who can take advantage of Hearts’ cash crisis with victory at the Caledonian Stadium. The Jambos players have to plenty to worry about including their wages and the whole future of the club.

It’s a traumatic time for Hearts and a trip to an Inverness side with five out of six isn’t perfect timing.

Remember this one kicks off at 12 noon so if you miss it put in Elgin instead.

Hearts will be a wounded animal. As we all know that’s when an animal is most dangerous.

    Careful backing ICT lads.

Chris, I know where you’re coming from. But when Rangers were in this situation last season they suffered and Hearts haven’t been playing well either.

I’m gonna have the four English games and put Stoke instead of ICT. I know Stoke have been struggling of late but they should be to strong at home to beat a poor QPR outfit.

Phil, I agree with you on Stoke who are still tough to beat at home. They were one I flagged up in my EPL piece in today’s Record.

    Hi Mr Fixit

I’m loving the value bets that you have posted today in your 5 to follow.

Was just thinking – Should you not be changing your screen name based on the undesirable character that you share this name with?

    Just a thought!

Love the site, long may it continue!

Andrew, if my first name was Jimmy I’d probably have to do that but as the name is related to fixed odds, which don’t really exist anymore other, then I think I can’t leave it.

Andy, the St Mirren game is in my Scottish line. I haven’t picked the Blackpool but there’s no reason for you not to. As I’ve said any game can come up in this market.

  7. Jonathan Grieve 6 years ago

Hahaha, never even thought of that Andrew. Still,I hope Paul’s tips will fix it for us 2day
