ALL good things come to an end on a small card Greg and I were beaten by a lack of goals at St Truiden.
I nicked Greg's tip for a double but it was beaten anyway when a half-strength Real Madrid could only manage two goals at tiny Fuenlabrada .
As I said it was a double I only did having made so much profit in the past week or so and the advised stake was just 1pt.
Tonight there is a big game in the Championship and it could be a good one between Yorkshire rivals Leeds and Sheffield United. Not an easy one to call though.
There is also a cracking contest between PSG and Nice in Ligue 1 and you have to fancy the home men strongly. In the Bundesliga it's Mainz v Eintracht Frankfurt and there are plenty of other games around the Continent.
As usual my focus has been on the Saturday card and didn't get enough time to study the card to confidently post tips – but there will be plenty for Saturday – and of course Greg put up French Ligue 2 selections.

My first real trip down under this season and I probably won’t be the only one to post this. Perth head to Sydney in what usually see’s its fair share of goals for the home side. Sydney have scored 3+ in the last five games against Perth, who are known for their conceding regardless of who they play.
Perth are always capable of a goal and have done so in both of their road trips this season. While Perth are short on the team goals, I’m taking a soccer who has three of their six goals already this season, and has 18 goals in 32 games.

Here we are into round 4 of the A-League, where Sydney host Perth in the only match in the A-League today. I see Jordan and Sean have beat me to the punch today on this match.
Sydney FC v Perth Glory:
Both sides enter this one in decent form, with the champions having won twice and drawn their last match. The Sky Blues have been scoring for fun of late, but also conceding a few, with their defense not as good as last season. They are missing Rhyan Grant for this one, but new man Mierzejewski is back, who has been valuable in his few appearances to date. Sydney have a dominant record against the Glory, and almost always beat them home and away, having beaten them the last 6 times they’ve played eachother.
Perth come into this one after a few okay results, their last being a 2-1 win over the Mariners. They have been scoring freely, but it’s their defense that has been letting them down. Mitch Nicols is missing through suspension, but they otherwise should have a relatively full squad. Glory have goals in their side, but their defense will continue to be a problem against a normally ruthless attacking side like Sydney.
I expect Sydney to win here, and they almost always beat Perth by a several goal margin. I anticipate more of the same today, but I also really like the team card line. Sydney are one of the teams who traditionally pick up cards more than most other teams in the league. They’ve been well behaved so far for the first few games, but Perth won’t sit back and will force the Sydney defenders to make challenges. And with a line this low, I can’t help myself!

mr f/eddie, when my mates son played for annan the players all met in annan and travelled together on the bus from there, he stayed in Edinburgh and added a fair bit onto travel time, after away matches the players were allowed to make their own way home if they wished, at that time annan had very few central belt based players most came from around the carlisle/Cumbria area, not sure if its still the same though………..
