FULHAM put on a good show to overturn a one-goal deficit against Derby and and it's almost certain their opposition in the Championship play-off final will be Aston Villa.
The Cottagers are 4-5 to be promoted while Villa, who won 1-0 at Middlesbrough in the first leg, are 7-4 to win the finla and 1-5 at Betfred to qualify. Boro are 4-1 at bet365 and Paddy Power to qualify and 11-1 to go up.
Villa had the third best home record in the Championship while away from Teeside Boro kept just one clean sheet away to the top 15 teams so you have to expect they will at least score.
To win again Steve Bruce's men are 13-10 at Black Type while Boro are 11-4 at bet365 and a draw is 11-5 at McBookie. I'm taking Villa to win again and make it through in style.
Elsewhere Vitesse entertain Utrecht in the Europa League play-offs and best bet should be both to score.
Greg may have lost his French Ligue 2 games but Le Havre tackle Brest in the play-offs. In the regular season both won 1-0 at home and while towards the end of the campaign it was all about goals when you look at the stats the last nine meetings have gone under 2.5 goals. I hate backing unders and it pays 8-13 at Marathonbet.

After yesterday’s AFC Champions League double came in, I’m following a similar one today.
Two games jump out at me (although I do like the look of Macca’s Israeli double as well).
AFC Champions League
11am Jeonbuk motors are 3:2 down from the 1st leg, at home and logic tells me the no 1 in the K League should be higher in the football food chain then the Thai League leaders (though the 1st leg result said otherwise).
Win and 2.5 for me at 10/11
2.5 and overs or over 3.5 could be an even better option for those who rather stick to just goals.
The 2nd part of my double is Al Dulhail and over 3.5
They won the away leg 4:2 and are one of the most free scoring teams in world football.
There have been 2 blips in their recent performances (if you can call 1:0 wins blips) but other than that a look at their results for the season will show you most games win and over 3.5 or higher.
They do usually concede too which helps on the old goal bets.
I have opted on win and over 3.5 for my double.
Win and 2.5 is a good safer alternative or just over 3.5 match goals if that appeals more.

Not much on today but do feel the French play off is worth getting involved in and for the first time I think in 2 seasons (maybe longer ) I’m posting under’s for goals. (Last time was when Blackpool’s pitch had no grass)

The hosts are due us all a turn after downing everyone’s 80/1 over 2.5 goals 10 fold on Friday night (2-0 after 10 mins and that’s how it stayed). Mr F and I are on the same page here and both agree this looks like it could be a tight affair.
Le Harve finished the season like title winners, collecting 19 points from 21 in their last 7 games to seal their play off spot. That was built on a strong defensive foundation having gone 495 minutes since they last conceded a goal ( 5 and half games ago). Like a lot of French teams most of their points have been collected at home and impressively they only lost 1 of their 19 home games this season. (best in the league) and only Reims conceded fewer goals at home ( 12 goals in 19 matches – 50% Clean sheets)
The visitors also ended the season well and certainly haven’t been shy in seeing a goal in their away matches, however they travel to play against the second best defence in the league and against a side who don’t conceded many at home and have also scored fewer goals than any side in the top 8.
Add to the mix that last 9 games between the sides have all finished under 2.5 goals (just 9 goals scored in those games) and if you go back further just 3 of the last 22 games have goals over 2.5 goals , there’s a fair case to be made given the magnitude of this match we could expect to see another tight game between these two
