IT'S not the last weekend of the season but it felt like it on Saturday – it had that sort of feel to it and results made most of wish it was all over.

I said before the start of play it was a tough card and so it proved. My tips reflected that with my only WDW bets on Top Treble beaten by Lincoln while the Everton draw no bet Super Single was voided thanks to their last-gasp equaliser against Southampton.

My three 1pt btts trebles weren't that close but it was one of those days and I'm pretty sure none of the tipsters picked a winner which is highly unusual.

Not even Greg was on target although he had the pleasure of seeing Clydebank for the first time while just up the road his St Johnstone side surprised him with a 5-1 win at Motherwell.

Plenty to look at on Sunday and check out the foreign tips posted by our Unibet bloggers.

It's the final day of the Championship with issues to be settled at the top and bottom and elsewhere big games include Chelsea v Liverpool, Barcelona v Real Madrid and Hearts v Celtic.

Cardiff or Fulham will join Wolves in the Premiership and my money's on the Welsh who have won three out of four to stay clear of a charging Fulham. They should beat a Reading side that's lost 4-0 and 3-0 to Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday in their last two.

Fulham have been the best side since the turn of year and if they don't go up should be backed to do so through the play-offs. They have won five in a row on the road ahead of a trip to Birmingham. I'm taking Cardiff and Fulham as a Super Single double.

And on a moneyback fivefold add Derby who should beat Barnsley to clinch their play-off spot and take champions Wolves to go through the 100 points barrier by winning at relegated Sunderland. Complete the fivefold with Barcelona to beat Real Madrid in the last Spanish game.

For a goals bet I'm concentrating on the Dutch games. Looking at them it wouldn't be a surprise if all went over 2.5 goals but I've picked out three.

Remember to check out welovebetting for their latest tips and chat.

Night Owl with the other SA picks still in-play…

UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA VS. HUACHIPATO (0000 KO):

With the last six H2H’s all seeing both sides netting – the price looks way too appealling to pass up – factor in the fact both teams are in consistent scoring form (5/6 and 4/6 respectively) and I really like the look of this one:

    BTTS…4/6

    BTTS 1ST HALF…10/3

Yet to properly look at the Sunday card. For now, some Danish selections spanning (hopefully) two days.

    Copenhagen v Brondby [Sunday]
    Midtjylland v Nordsjaelland [Monday]

    Midtjylland O1.5 Team Goals & 9+ Match Corners @ 24/25 (Bet365)
    _________________________________________________________

    Half Stake:

Brondby To Score & 10+ Match Corners
Midtjylland O1.5 Team Goals & 9+ Match Corners

    4-Fold @ 21/10 (Bet365)
    ____________________

    Third Stake:

    FC Copenhagen v Brondby
    Midtjylland v Nordsjaelland

    BTTS & O2.5 Match Goals Double @ 21/10 (SkyBet)
    ___________________________________________

Will be monitoring the Copenhagen game in-play if possible. Might look over the rest of the card in the morning – Liverpool look far too big to me.

@mr-fixit have you been reading my mind??

Although its hard to see past a Cardiff win, i’m going with my gut on this one and say Reading will scrape a point and spoil the Cardiff party.
I said 10 games ago that I doubt Fulham would lose again this season. I don’t think they have. Birmingham have been on borrowed time for the past few seasons and barring a flurry of freak results at the bottom end of the table, we won’t know until 14:20pm which 2 from 5 will join Sunderland into the midst of third tier football. I’m thinking Burton will ” man-up ” against Preston and steal a point, and I think Bolton may scrape a point too. Sunderland are already sunk and have nothing to play for and with Wolves itching to top 100 points, Wolves will probably cover a -1 h/c in the process.
Derby seem to of gotten the ” monkey ” off our backs with a terrific win at home to a dominant Cardiff side – coming from 1 nil down to triumph 3-1, and Villa threw the kitchen sink at Derby to get that equalizer that they’d been chasing at home to us from the 15th minute. It took until around the 82nd minute to get the leveller. Stats wise, both Villa and Cardiff dominated Derby, more so villa with around 68% possession – it might of been higher. Cardiff had a 20 minute spell from their opener against Derby until the ht whistle – the rest as they say is history, but not before Vydra had his say for his 20th league goal of the season. I think Grabben of Villa has caught his tally, but you’d put your house on Vydra to claim the championship golden boot tomorrow against a Barnsley side that is screaming out ” score against us “. This should make Barnsley liable to join Bolton in the 1st division if my predictions come in. I’d just love Derby to do Burton a favour, they have 4000 fans and somehow with the tiny budget they have, they’ve managed to just keep their toe in the championship. The Great Escape could well be on for Nigel Clough’s team. They do know how to battle when their backs are against the wall.

I’ve had a punt on a little treble with betfair:

    Fulham -1h/c, Derby -1h/c, Wolves -1h/c – £10 returns £232.50

Vydra is atgs with the same firm @ 12/5.

i’ll do my best to be up and raring to go for team news, but it seems Derby have switched to a more solid looking ” switchable ” 5-2-3 formation that seems to be paying dividends. ( Wingbacks with 3 central defenders ). With Jerome notching in his last 2 matches for Derby, it is hard to see past him starting ahead of Nugent up front with Vydra playing off his shoulder. All 4 of those goals against Cardiff and Villa were all muggings/defensive errors seized on by Derby. Its nice to see.

Good luck tomorrow guys and I hope there are no nasty surprises tomorrow for anyone.

I see this slightly different to you Hull.
If you look at the table, goal difference could have a big part in whether Huddersfield stay up or not and today’s fixture is the biggest threat to how bad that goal difference ends up.

Hence, I expect them to park two buses with the priority of not loosing by more than 1 or 2.

City double chance and under 3.5 would be my guess or under 1.5 1st half goals.

However, I’m more inclined to swerve it and lump on your Bolivian tip.

      Good luck today.

Half-time and can well see Catolica piling on the pressure against a Huachipato side who are, themsleves, well up for it – I’ve got the value out of the goals already but reckon there’s more to be had from the corner markets in the second 45:

No luck yesterday with the Chinese firing a blank at home.

Today I’m backing against a Norwegian side who’ve not had the best of ‘starts’ to their domestic campaign. start have lost five of their seven games and now head to a ground where they’ve not had much success in the past few years. Odd have won their last four, handing Molde a 1-0 defeat on the road in their last domestic contest. Expecting a home win here and a fairly decent price for the team goals with Marathon Bet.

    Odd Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 37/50 @ Marathon Bet – 5 points

Hey Jordan is it odds bk the team you’re backing for over 1.5 goals?

Copenhagen v Brondy BTTS & Overs 21/20 – highlighted last Monday
All Eredivisie Games 2 Asian Goal Line 2.9/1
Lyon, Man City > 2.5 MGS, Chelsea > 1.5 MGS Evens
Depay ATGS, Lyon > 2.5 TGS 6/5 – quarter stake
Relying on recent form rather than H2H in Denmark – both sides scoring and conceding plenty.
In Last seasons last game all but 1 game in Holland’s top flight went overs – and that was a 0-2. Should hopefully see more goals today
Lyon and City should clear the MGS against Troyes and Huddersfield themselves … hopefully Chelsea v Liverpool should see a couple of goals. Depay has scored in the last 6 and got a hatrick in the reverse fixture
    GL all today!

It’s the last day of the Dutch Eredivisie season. All games kicking off at 1.30pm
Had some success in this league this season and Overs often comes close. Some teams have positions to play for, whilst others will just be playing for pride and wanting to end the season on a high. I’m favouring goals over WDW.

    These are my picks;

    -4-Fold-

    Willem II v Vitesse
    Utrecht v VVV

  26. GregBrowning 6 years ago

Morning gents – had the pleasure of watching the Bankies yesterday with Mr F and admin, was a decent game but should have brought my boots with me haha

Action packed Sunday today – a combination of goal bets and league specials from me

Man City v Huddersfield KO 1.30pm
    Arsenal v Burnley KO 4.30pm

The league may be in the bag but it’s difficult to oppose goals in a Man City home match against modest opposition. Should see some here and Im in full agreement with others that city should fill their boots

It’s the end of an era as Arsene Wenger takes charge of his last home game for Arsenal and given how Arsenal have performed at home in recent months you have to fancy the gunners continuing their impressive goal scoring form in the premier Legaue

Back over 2.5 match goals double 11/10 (Betfair)

    ****************************

    Hearts v Celtic 12.15pm

The champions travel to the capital and it’s not been a happy hunting ground from them this season having only licked up one point in three visits to Esinburgh. This fixture loves a goal with 10nof the last 11 going over 2.5 goals. Hearts have had a shocker of a season in my opinion and to finish 6th with that budget and squad simply isn’t good enough. They did end Celtics winning streak when they won 4-0 here earlier in the season. I don’t think we’ll see a repeat but i think Hearts will raise their game and we should see goals

Back over 2.5 goals 5/6 (Selectabet) (NAP)

    ****************************

Been extreamly unlucky with my last three first half goal sky bets specials the last two days

9 out of 10 in France
    8 out of 9 in Seria B
    8 out of 9’in Bundasliiga

Good luck with your bets today ⚽️

Early game for the Night Owl and it could be well worth a look – deepest, darkest Peru beckons…

SPORT HUANCAYO VS. SPORTING CRISTAL (2130 KO):

Peru’s big hitters go head to head here – the last 5 meetings have finished with scorelines of 2-1, 2-0, 3-1, 0-0 and 5-3 and I reckon on both teams getting in on tge action again this evening.

Recent form for both is good with goals-aplenty; 2-3-3-3-4-3 for Huancayo and 6-5-5-4-3 for Cristal spells out a match goal pattern that might just continue later:

    Two selections worth considering:

    BTTS & OVERS…10/11
    ????

    BTTS 2ST HALF…3/1
    ?

    Good luck ?

Early post for tomorrow’s main pick and all roads lead to Bolivia for me…

    WILSTERMANN VS. BLOOMING (2000 KO):

No write-up needed and I’ll take the early prices from Unibet:

    JORGE OVER 2.5 TGS…11/8
    ??

Not sure how we didn’t see a 4th for the other pick!
