IT'S been a quiet few days with just cup games and friendlies to bet on but that changes on Friday night.
On Thursday I took a chance on both to score at Levante and Barcelona when possibly it was a no-bet day.
Well done to anyone who landed a winner on the friendlies or later games.
Tonight's English offering is Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and for anyone fed up of live TV 0-0s it's good to there hasn't been a scoreless Steel derby in 12. Will it be 13th time unlucky?
The Blades are in slightly better form than the Owls and will take heart from their thrilling 4-2 win at Hillsborough in September.
The Bundesliga resumes with Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich and strangely this has been a low scorer in recent seasons with six out of seven going under 2.5 goals. Bayer are in good form and could make this difficult for Bayern.
There are a few other top-flight games to look at but for Greg and others the good news is the return of Ligue 1 and the Jupiler League so watch out for tips.
I've been concentrating on Saturday's columns but have picked out a short-priced and maybe add goals tips later if I get a chance to do some research – if not I'll go with the Greg's.

The odds (if anything) may have to do with the head to head history. Roar traditionally have been strong in the league, and always played well against the Jets. Jets have only beaten them once whilst at home in the last few years. However this year’s it’s a different ball game. This is the worst Roar side to ever play in the league, and it’s also the best Jets side to ever feature. So history can go bugger off somewhere else in this case.
Not a lot of time today to post, but here’s my thoughts on the Newcastle Jets v Brisbane Roar.
I expect a fairly one-sided encounter here, with an in-form Jets against a terrible looking Brisbane Roar.
Jets have been on fire all season, with goals coming from several players, particularly front man Andrew Nabbout. Jets have further strengthened their attack with Patito Rodriguez, a player who has played in far strong leagues (Greek Super League, Brazil Serie A, etc), before ending up here. He came on late in his debut match last round, scoring shortly after coming on.

The Jupiler League is back this Friday. My team Den Bosch take on Almere at home and I am surprised by the price for the home win. Almere have managed to win 1 away game this season, against bottom team Jong Utrecht. Almere also haven’t kept a clean sheet in 19 league games. Den Bosch haven’t lost in 7 of 9 home games and only lost the first home game of the season and the last one against league leaders Fortuna.

Cannot see anything other than goals in this game, both teams have an abundance of attacking talent, but even as i Liverpool supporter i would have to advise caution in backing us here, “bet with the head not the heart” as the famous saying goes
Liverpool are more than shakey at the back and their home record isnt as good as its percieved – 5 draws in 11 in the league – doesnt fill me with confidence, they are up against (arguably) one of the best team in Europe at the moment and with Sterling / Sane / Aguero / De Bruyne finding pockets of space behind our midfield i can see them causing havoc!
Liverpool can certainly play their part with goals based bets a no brainer for me!!!
