PSG and Real Madrid lived up to their billing on Sunday to help land my 3-1 Top Treble.
I backed both on Asian handicaps and added Borussia M'gladbach to win for a 6pts profit.
If they were in my good books then Lazio weren't. They beat my 12-1 moneyback fivefold when they were held 0-0 at home to Spal. Lazio were the shortest team on the line and the bet is voided with the stake returned.
My Super Single was also unlucky with Neymar scoring first for PSG but only after underdogs Toulouse had taken the lead at the Stade de France.
Atalanta beat the both to score but I had Roma draw no bet on the Betting Club and cashed out for £106.66 so that will go on a single on Monday or probably Tuesday.
Big game tonight is Man City v Everton in the Premier League and I've posted a separate preview.
Elsewhere the opening La Liga weekend closes with Levante v Villarreal and Malaga v Eibar and there's not much to look at apart from Jong Utrecht v Top Oss.
Top Oss were possibly the best backed team on the site for goals last season and their mantle has been stolen by Hullshaker's Fylde. They lost one game 7-2 at home to Cambuur in March and shut up shop a little after that although their final three games saw btts and over 2.5 goals land.
I said I didn't how personnel changes will affect them from last season but it's been pointed out they have sold top scorer Tom Boere to Twente so he'll be a loss.
The Dutch side have played six pre-season friendlies and four featured over 2.5 goals and btts with a total of 23 including a 3-3 draw and 5-4 defeat.
There are only two previous meetings to go on and last season both went over 2.5 goals so consider a repeat although it pays just 7-10 at Coral.
Friday's Jupiler league matches provided loads of goals but the other game between Jong PSV and De Graafschap doesn't stand up on the stats although all PSV's four pre-season matches went over 3.5 goals.
I've had a look at other games and have decided to go with an over 2.5 goals double at Jong Utrecht and Nordsjaelland v Helsingor.
Nordsjaelland top the Danish table after four wins in five and their only defeat was 4-3 at Midtyjlland last week. In five games their average score is 3-2 – 15 for and 10 against.
They tackle a Helsingor side who have conceded 10 in five as well as netting six to their average is 1-2. Eight of Nordsjaelland's last nine have produced btts as have four of Helsingor's previous five so stats point to goals tonight.

Careful – Bolivian games tend to have a weighting for SHGS more than your average game…often a combination of altitude and the fact there’s usually been a couple of reds by then!

I take my hat off to you for being man enough to come on and say that.
first of all you need to admit you have a problem, and if you chase losses which are beyond what you can afford there is a problem.
a guy called horsing around a while back went through a similar process in that he lost over a grand in one bet and swore that was it and retired.
but lo and behold he returned had a few weeks of ups and downs then boooom, he chased his losses with one hail mary single and blew a load of money which was for family purposes.
to this day I remember his final post here and I could feel his pain, and it seriously nearly made me weep for him.
thankfully he has stayed true to his vow to stop and I have seen no further posts from him, and I hope he has got his life back together.
in your case that money has gone, re evaluate your life from today financially, go to sites who deal with these issues if necessary and don’t be afraid to talk about it with close friends, bottling it up will not help in the long run.
when you are back on track if you fancy a flutter, stick to a tenner once or twice a week.
if you lose its only a tenner, no point in chasing a tenner is it ?
if you win say a 4-1 treble with your tenner, put the £40 winnings towards something useful, like buying family members a wee pressy, this will make you feel twice the man rather than ploughing your winnings back into the bookies hands, which is generally what happens long term.

It’s amazing the number of games where there are hardly any corners.
Just a quick note on the FC Oss team. Their top scorer Tom Boere has moved to Twente. He scored 32 goals in all competitions last season and I believe he was the leagues top scorer. This will no doubt have a massive impact on how many goals they score. They did have a shocking defensive record so it could be worth looking at their opponents to score 2+.

My biggest fault is I’ll start with a £50 kitty, build it up slowly with £1 bets, but as the kitty grows I get a bit gung ho, for example a £500 kitty will see me bet £80 on one bet! A bad run of 4-5 losers sees me back to where I started! The funny thing is it doesn’t seem to bother me! Maybe a touch of low boredom threshold !
Best policy is to put points on your stakes and never go over that on a daily basis.
If you have a £500 kitty try to never to risk losing more than 5 per cent a day.
That way you’d need to lose every bet over 20 days – and that’s unlikely.

any tips on levante vs villareal match please?
looking at their recent h2h against each other, only 2 have gone over 2.5 goals with villareal winning the 4 times. I’d be looking at BTTS no and under 2.5 goals which you can get on 365 at 20/21. Levante have the better form at home with 4/5 wins compared to Villareal away at 3/5.

Valur were the Urvalsdeild’s surprise package for much of the early season but after their 6-0 kicking of IA Akranes, the wheels have (somewhat) fallen of with a 2-1 loss to FH followed by a 0-0 draw against KR. Grindavik started well themselves but are just out of a horror-patch of 5 back to back defeats with a 3-2 win at bottom side IA.
The hosts have seen a minimum of 3 match goals in 5 of their last 7 whilst 100% of Grindaviks last 6 saw ‘overs’ get the green light – you’ll not find much value at 1/2 for the aforementioned so it might just pay too look at other options.
I’ve written plenty about the preponderence in Iceland for late goals and SHGS and I reckon this is where the smart money might go tonight as both sides test each other out in the opening 45′.

FLUMINENSE vs ATLETICO-MG: When the 1st half of the tournament ended, Fluminense’s manager Abel Braga mentioned that the team was scoring goals but was also conceding a lot and that, to improve, the team needed to focus on its defensive issues. Since then, the team had 2 matches without conceding in a row. Atletico MG is a team that is underperforming this season…they were expected to fight for the league but are not really playing a convincing football and are struggling to score. Their manager, Rogerio Micale, is also not one that usually plays open, offensive matches, in my humble opinion. I expect a low scoring match here
