On the Continent we see the return of La Liga and Serie A so it's just Germany to return next week after a round of cup matches.

With level stakes, the Oldham win put my tips back in the black with 3 tips from 5 now landing since I started officially doing previews.
I have a little early doors bet on Leeds, nothing flash, it was only 4/9 but seeing how they’ve galvanized their team with a starting 11 that saw out last season, and made a solid start to this campaign, if they don’t try to fix what isn’t broken, I can see Leeds dominating the early race for the top slot. This is at the expense of playing teams like Derby that are still tinkering with new faces. Leeds seem to have that sixth sense of knowing what each-others role is and implementing it.
Worth keeping Leeds on your radar each week and paying attention to team selection changes. If nothing much changes in that starting 11, they’d be on my little acca’s most weeks.

Gloucester vs East Thurrock
East Thurrock get the red flag today with four losses from four to open their campaign. Its no surprise considering their drop off toward the end of last season (losing 7 of their last 10 games). Take last years form into play and that’s 10 straight losses.
Gloucester haven’t faired much better but do have a win to their name. Their only two goals have come in each of their home games, and I fancy them to pick up their first team brace of the season against Thurrock who have conceded 2+ in both road games.
Thurrock finished 15th out of a possible 22 last season. Whitehawk, a now relegated side conceded 89 goals, with Thurrock coming in 2nd as the worst defense with 84 goals yielded (conceded the most on the road with 52, while Whitehawk were 2nd worst with 48. They concede 2+ in 15 of their 22 games last year and have already started the same way this season. Long may it continue.

On paper well look to have started poorly but had a decent league cup campaign without being outstanding , lost at Hibs (had key men out) then battered Hamilton but ultimately lost 1-0.
The steelmen have a business plan that is one decent cup run (reached both finals last year) and a slightly below mid table finish , I feel they will get both , the squad is decent and despite losing Kipre have brought in Aldred who was on at well last season and glad to have him back as a replacement. Should also have a decent traveling support and A good record over the years at livi. Hoping Danny Johnston gets a start up front because salmon and main haven’t worked together yet and Johnston comes with a Lewis Moult type pedigree scoring lots in the national league. Motherwell to come out on top.

Second pick and I’m heading west to Canada with Montreal hosting Chicago in the MLS. The Fire have been rank rotten on the road in the past few weeks with five straight losses conceding 3+ in four. 11 of their 12 road games have seen over 2.5 averaging 3.4 goals per game. While their form is awful they still have decent players in their ranks. To suggest they can’t score in Montreal would be wrong. The hosts are without a clean sheet in their last four, with one clean sheet in their last 7.
Expect both to get on the score sheet tonight and I’ll chance the xtra goal, probably for Montreal but this league is not a WDW league.
