IT was a decent day all round on the site with winners for myself, Greg Browning, Desmond and Selectabet.
My main tips landed – the Motherwell Super Single and 11-5 Top Treble – as well as a 15-4 Scottish both to score treble. The members bet and Betting Club pick also won.
Greg's two over 2.5 goals bets landed – a double and a fourfold – and Desmond's main bet of a team to score 2+ double won at 10-3 thanks to Fleetwood's 93rd-minute penalty.
Selectabet did even better with three out of three on his teams to score 2+ – Charlton, Exeter and Leeds.
Well done to everyone who posted winners and let's hope there's more success on Sunday.
There are two Premier League games in England – Burnley v Crystal Palace and Swansea v Newcastle – and I fancy two homes. Burnley in particular look a get bet and it can't help when Palace boss Frank de Boer is told at this stage of the season he could be sacked if his side lose. That's too much pressure too soon.
De Boer and Palace – or more accurately his squad – don't look a good fit. He didn't do much in the transfer window and has injury problems. Burnley's a tough place to go and having won at Chelsea and drawn at Spurs Sean Dyche will be confident of adding the points and that's the Super Single.
In Italy the best game is Lazio v Milan and Paolo Bandini has posted a preview for that game and the early one between Inter and SPAL.
We also have Hertha Berlin v Werder Bremen previewed as well as the matches at Lyon and Marseille on separate posts.
My Top Treble starts with Swansea to avoid defeat at home to Newcastle plus Athletic Bilbao at home to Girona and Schalke against Stuttgart.
Swansea did some good business in the transfer market after losing Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton. The capture of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches was a scoop and Wilfried Bony should score goals back at a club where he will be a regular starter.
Newcastle have striker Aleksandar Mitrovic banned and that's a blow although midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will face his former club and manager Rafael Benitez is unlikely to be at the game as he recovers from an op.
Bilbao have lost one out of 19 at home and despite a decent start newly-promoted Girona should find it's a bit of a fortress.
Schalke and Stuttgart have won and lost a game each but Schalke look the better side and with home advantage a price of just under evens is attractive.

Well done yesterday all. I myself was beaten by a toothless Bournemouth side who could be firm favs for the drop by Halloween. Onto the MLS and hopefully some value on a home side to get a win. Colorado have been woeful on the road this season and should give the Dynamo 3 points. Kevin Doyle will be missed for Colorado, and there aren’t many other ‘stars’ on this roster likely to threaten the Texans who will be playing for their City. When Houston are on their game, they are very tough to beat. Erick Torres leads the Dynamo with 14 goals this season and could add to his tally at 8/5 @ 365.

Well done Mr F on a number of good tips on saturday…the quality of the tips remains superb…the difficult thing every saturday is to go through a huge number of matches and selections and narrow the bets down to only the best ones…I usually get lost and slightly optimistic and end up choosing more matches than I should ;-)
Anyway, my selection for tomorrow:
VITORIA vs FLUMINENSE – These two teams had poor defenses on the first half of the season. However, they improved a lot recently when they adopted a more cautious approach. After moving house and a mental week at work I lost track of my bets a bit. I think my overall record stood at 15-16.
To this afternoon’s match, my beloved Worcester got off to a very poor start against a decent looking Newcastle. They will be extra keen to make this game more competitive, although I do expect them to lose.
Wasps weren’t great on the road last season and with heavy showers forecast the totals look tempting. Worcester have been involved in some high scoring games in the past, but I would assume after last weeks display their focus will be on kkeeping it tight.
