IT was another quiet Wednesday night but another HullShaker success and the man's on a hot streak.

A bit like his pal craneguy but that's another story. Well done to all the Wednesday winners and HullShaker will be added as a headline tipster later this week.

I felt bit cheated as three out of three teams I mentioned won – Toulouse, Norrkoping and Ostersunds – but my Toulouse draw no bet and over 2.5 match goals at Zulte was beaten by the Belgians.

Incredibly after no goals in the first 88 minutes there were two in the last two minutes and another two in extra time. I wish I'd gone both to score instead of overs as that would have been a sweet success.

Again there's not much to look at on Thursday and it could be a no-bet day for me as I start building up to the Champions League Final and continue with the World Cup betting previews.

Ace has posted a Bet of the Day for members on the BMW Championship as well as his usual tips fron the two main tours.

@maccathered, interested in what you are thinking about for champs lge final? Can’t see past btts and over 2.5, even though its a bit skinny at 4-6. Also like btts in 1St half at 12-5. Liverpool to win and btts is tempting at 7-2… Should be a cracking final (and hopefully a wee boost before the World Cup)…anyone elses thoughts/comments welcome as well, cheers

    • maccathered 6 years ago

I will put my tips up tommorrow for the champs league final, according to foundmyfunk it’s easy to tip the big games, maybe he would like to tip on some big games lol,Nice to see Hull get his own get his own thread about time, great tipster on the outer reaches.

    • elvis parsley 6 years ago

      Yes, well deserved.
He tips on leagues where no man has tipped before.

Love to hear his thoughts on this seasons Falkland island division 3 south title race between the.
Port Stanley sheep rustlers and the San carlos penguins.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

We can do a lot better then a 4/6 hairyheid

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

Goals would be great, hope there isn’t a case of ‘Final Fear’ where neither team wants to lose so are more cautious than in previous rounds resulting in low-scoring… something to bear in mind but with these two attacking sides it’s difficult to see anything other than 3+ goals.

    • hairyheid 6 years ago

Good stuff – look forward to your post tomorrow ?

    • craigyboy 6 years ago

Going to be a great final. Can get around 11/10 for BTTS and over 3.5 goals. I backed Real Madrid at 5’s before the season started to win the tournament. Am I nervous? Most definitely. I just hope we don’t have an early red in the game to kill the spectacle.
If Liverpool are on their game (which I can’t think they won’t be) they can really panic Real Madrid. All the pressure is on the Spanish as they look to make it 3 in a row.
I can’t see anything but goals and reckon it’s going to be a smashing final. Managed to blag my shift off at work and it should be a good headliner for the Villa v Fulham double header.
I’m currently in two minds to cash out my profit for the Real Madrid to lift the trophy and just put it all on goals.

Does anyone know if any bookies are pricing up celtic to win the treble next year. Jonathan sutherland said on sportscene he was quoted 6/1 by bookmakers which I think is a steal ,but by whom?

    • maccathered 6 years ago

It’s only a steal if they don’t go on a European run,if they were to make the champions league group stages or the europa league group stages then they won’t do the treble.

    • elvis parsley 6 years ago

      Macca.
Silly to say they won’t do it !!
Celtic qualified for the champions league group stages last 2 years and also won the domestic treble.

    • recoba 6 years ago

Certainly did Elvis and a 2 legged Euro tie in February,we got pamped out of that and just dropped a gear. If we can get the first cup in November in early again and a get slight bit of luck in the Scottish cup regarding draws and the times we play then it could happen but I think I’d want more than 6/1.

GL all today with your bets, sticking with the horses till Saturday.

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

Celtic will be around evens for both cups so that would mean evens for the league as well.
I haven’t looked but you can do by backing them to win the three trophies individually.

    Morning gents,

Cheers Mr F and thanks for the messages lads – great to be on board and looking forwards to contributing a few winners to the site as it continues to grow!

I’ve two games that hold a bit of interest this evening and both hail from the Nordic/Scandinavian leagues…

    POHU VS. VJS (1815 KO):

The Finnish Kolkomen has produced some great value so far this season and often it’s a case of looking for the match-ups with a significant disparity of quality between the two teams.

Pohu are living up to their names and have lost the last successive 4 matches (3-0, 1-4, 2-1, 0-5) leaving them joint 2nd bottom…I suspect their livrs may be about to get worse.

VJS head up this regional section and have notched 5 wins out of 5 scoring 3-5-4-11-2 team goals in the process with a g/d 29 in front of POHU’s, clearly we have a mismatch.

Just to highlight this further, POHU were beaten 1-4 at home by TuPS 2 weeks ago…a team that VJS hammered 1-4 away from home just the week before!

    Really sweet on this one:

    GL 4.5…1.900
    ????

                      ************************

The later pick comes from Iceland’s 2nd tier Deild 1 and it’s a goals double featuring games with a history of finding the onion bag…

THRÓTTUR REYKJAVÍK VS. HK (2015 KO):
LEIKNIR REYKJAVÍK VS. ÍR (2015 KO)

The first fixture sees two teams where 75% of their opening games have seen 3 or more goals and 80% of the most recent H2Hs have gone the same way.

The second game has an even better track record of goals with the most recent 6 featuring 4-2-6-4-5-4 match goals.

    OVER 2.5 MGS DOUBLE…1.72/1
    ??

    Best of luck ?

Plenty of spare time today so may as well post my champions league tips now.,i was going to wait to see if i could get more team news but there will be very little given away by either side.
    ***UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL***
    Real Madrid v Liverpool
    Over 3.5 goals at 11/10*****
Over 4.5 goals at 11/4 (NAP)*****
Over 5.5 goals at 6/1 (NB)***
These are my main bets but also taken Over 6.5 and 7.5 goals at 16/1 i got when the draw was made now 14/1,also 7.5 goals at 25/1 small stakes on these two bets.
Also going for first half goals full totals
    Over 1.5 goals at 6/5*****
    Over 2.5 goals at 4/1
    Over 3.5 goals at 12/1
None of these teams know the word sitting back it’s simply not in their vocabulary and i reckon we could be in for an absolute cracker, great for the neautral bad for the supporter.I fully expect an end to end here, with plenty of chances, jfk yesterday touched upon the 5-4 against Cd Alaves in the uefa cup final in 2001 well something similar would not surprise me at all,we have two teams that can create a chance easily enough and two teams that boast players that can finish chances easily which leads me to believe we will see one of the most open finals we have seen in years even better than last years where Madrid swept aside Juventus which i tipped correctly, the value on the first half goals also is not to be sniffed at either both sides like to start fast and both will want an advantage going into half time.I have decided to keep of the wdw market as i want enjoy the final more but if i were to bet wdw then i would side with Liverpool at 2/1 call it biased call it what you will but it i think they just have the edge here with the front three in attack and Reals poor defending.Correct score 3-5 best of luck.

    • hairyheid 6 years ago

      Cheers Macca ?

    • jfk 6 years ago

BTTS in both halfs has to be on the radar too pal

  16. maccathered 6 years ago

I could go into detail where i think goals will be scored and conceded but that would take up a a hell of a lot of space, there is also some requestabets for this game which could land,Salah,Firmihno,Mane,Ronaldo,Bale all to score is not out of the question, this type of game will suit Alves down to the ground.

    Sweden Allsvenskan 18:00
Trelleborgs FF vs Brommapojkarna – over 10 corners

    Iceland Premier League Women 19:00
Breidablik Women vs IBV Vestmannaeyjar Women – Breidablik Women -0.5, -1.0 Asian handicap

    Italy Serie B Play-offs 19:30
Virtus Entella vs Ascoli – over 4.5 first half Asian corners

    Treble 4.58/1 Bet365 **NAP**

    Add

    UEFA Champions League Women 17:00
Wolfsburg Women vs Lyon Women – over 4.5 first half Asian corners

    4-Fold 9.05/1 Bet365 **NB**

6/9 of Trelleborgs FF games have gone over ten corners. 8/9 of Brommapojkarna’s games have gone over ten corners.

The last H2H between Breidablik Women & IBV Vestmannaeyjar Women in Feb in the Iceland Cup was a demolition job for Breidablik who slayed their opposition 8-0 on the day. It was 4-0 at HT and was generally just a very one sided match (97-22 dangerous attacks & 30-3 shots on goal). It will probably pay to follow this closely in-play for the race to corner markets as it finished 9-0 on corners to Breidablik last time out.

The same Serie B play off match between Virtus Entella & Ascoli tonight played out in the regular season just over two weeks ago and it yielded seven corners in the first half (5-2).

    Good luck all

    • williegee 6 years ago

Hi Bullseye, just a question about the Icelandic women’s game, is the asian hanidcap for the first half or for the match because Bet365 are only offering breidblik -0.5,-1.0 for f/Half and -1.5, -2.0 match handicap unless I am missing something?

    • bullseye 6 years ago

Unfortunately it looks like Bet365 have increased their lines Williegee. This morning they had first half line as 0.0, -0.5 & FT -0.5, -1.0. I was contemplating taking Breidablik Women HT/FT which was then 7/5 but now I see its dropped to a poxy 8/11. Could be one for the bet builder to squeeze out value.

No luck in Sweden yesterday, but I’m staying there today with two teams in poor form, but still giving us goals. Falkirk host Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan and I’m hoping both turn up. Dallied have lost four of five, but they’ve scored 2+ in three of the four losses, with one clean sheet in their 9 games. Elfsborg really haven’t been much better, but this is a side they should really be beating. Both should score and I’m chancing the extra goal.

Had to have a little break from having a few bets for a bit but hoping to be back now I’ve missed not being part of the site for a bit. @hullshaker great news on the upcoming thread was only a matter of time in my opinion so all the best with it. Still continuing the 2-3 match goals strategy I started a while ago and only had 42 bets so far and a few points down but was quite unlucky on a lot of games and 42 bets is far from a good enough sample size to see if any strategy is profitable long term so will keep at it. I have one game for tomorrow.

The Night Owl sees me chasing a bit of value in the Copa Libertadores as we head towards the end of the Group section…

SANTOS VS. REAL GARCILASO (2315 KO):

I’ve thought long and hard about this one and yes, Santos are rightly massive favourites – they ARE the better side; yes, the pragmatic way to go would be for team/match goals but there could be another way in.

Take a look at Santos’ run in to this game – this will be their 7th game in 24 days and that’s a lot for any squad to contend with, in each of those games they have failed to keep a clean sheet.

Can Garcilaso expose that? Probably not – they are terrible away from their Peruvian stronghold – but Santos’ susceptability  certainly doesn’t harm the chances of this bet and with the hosts looking to cement top spot and an ‘easier’ seeded placement in the next round, I reckon there’s every chance of early action – where it comes from I couldn’t care less:

    GOAL BEFORE 23:00 MINUTES…5/6
