SATURDAY wasn't great unless you were following the racing tips on the site. New boy Alan Thomson posted five winners including a 14-1 headliner and Johnb had one out of two with Idaho losing late on.
While the horses did the business I drew up a long list of players and teams I wanted to curse. Honestly, there are too many to mention but the likes of Romelu Lukaku (penalty miss), Miguel Britos (OG) and Ayr United (rotten) won't be getting any Christmas cards.
While I drew a blank – at least my Hamilton Super Single was voided and the app double won – Greg landed a 4-1 over 2.5 goals treble and Scott Allott picked two 7-2 European winners so he was the star of the show.
And talking of Inter our Italian tipster Paolo Bandini backed them to win at Roma and that was a great shout.
There are some big games on Sunday including Liverpool v Arsenal, Spurs v Burnley Chelsea v Everton, Real Madrid v Valencia and Ross County v Rangers.
Hibs cost me plenty last week with their surprise 3-1 defeat at home to Hamilton. Neil Lennon gave only his keeper passmarks and I'm sure he's warned players about letting him down again.
I reckon Hibs will bounce back against a side that props up the table with no points in three games and with pressure piling on boss Neil McCann. Instead of a Hibs win I'm on them to score 2+.
All the concensus and stats is on goals at Liverpool v Arsenal and Real Madrid v Valencia so I'm going for over 2.5 goals and adding Ross County v Rangers. This has already been picked by Greg so check his post. I can see Rangers edgeing it, maybe 2-1, and Liverpool and Real could also win with both scoring. That win and btts treble pays 23-1 at William Hill.

So, my Lucky 15 punt on 4 results all fell flat on its ar*se. £60 down the swanny, but it was a fun bet, rather than a ” play it safe “.

Well, my aim was to take it to the magic figure of £1000.
My main bet which had my pot on was Aberdeen to win @ 3/4 and Derby to grab a solitary goal @ 3/10. Aberdeen made me sweat big time with the yoyo-ing of scores but limped over the line, I think 4-3. But Derby having their ar*es handed to them on a plate – Huddlestone dreadful backpass, a Johnny Russell own goal looked to of sunk my bet. Cashout was just £30. I still see it as a £10 rollercoaster ride, but then Derby did me proud and netted right at the death to make it 2-1, then sent everyone up for a final equaliser, only to be hit for a 3rd. Oh well, at least my main bet came in. Just 4 components left to my fun and frolicks.
Barcelona @ 2/7 – well that won, Borussia Dortmund @ 4/11 – that came in, number 5 up – Athletico Madrid @ 4/6 – well that has almost rounded off a dream Saturday with a 5-1 trouncing on the road.
Now for the dilemma : £2803.47 offered on the cashout with betfair, my maths tells me they’re short-changing me by around £300. The potential payout if my 6th comes in will be £3897.48. But here’s the tricky bit. Even though I’ve made no secret of the fact I’ll be wearing Irish colours tonight, I’ve bet against him. I’ve literally been waiting years to see this fight and finally its happening – I can’t wait! Two of the biggest punchers in the sport of boxing going toe to toe in what will almost certainly end in a knockout. I really cannot pick a winner but I’ve been a GGG “supporter” for a while now and I hope he pulls it off. I don’t like the way Canelo has been fighting at catchweights for the last three years, either you are one weight or another.

Well, I managed to eek out yesterday’s starting tally of £529 to eventually crossing the line of £1000 – ever so slightly past it. I think I banked £3869 and left £20 in the pot. Hi all can someone please help me . I did 2 bets last night on Atletico to score between 66th and upto and including 75th min on PP . Now I went on 4 different sites to see goal by Koke was down as 75th min. They said it was a losing bet . Tried talking , got no where , what else can I do . Ty
Official Koke goal time was 74:12 and has been given as a 75th minute goal so I don’t know why PP aren’t paying out.
What’s their reason? Ask them to watch the tapes in the interest of fair play and they’ll see the goal time for themselves.

Rare as rocking horse sh*t for me to back WDW on anything in SA but this price is just too big and I assume has been priced strictly on the last 2 meetings which saw a draw and a win for San Jose as there appears to be little change in team news or personnell.
