Europa League – not the biggest fan from a punting perspective. I’ll keep stakes to a minimum.
Three games that I like for goals. I considered leaving out the game at Waregem and staking a little higher but you can just never be sure in this competition.
Copenhagen were shocked by Qarabag in CL qualification and in their series of qualification ties (there were 3), each of their home games saw goals (1-2, 4-1, 2-1). Lokomotiv have been seeing a decent amount of goals in their league fixtures this season (rare for the Russian league) and all of their away games have seen both sides nabbing. Very fair price on offer in this game.
Lazio and Vitesse just looks like it ought to see goals. A first string Lazio side ought to bang two in themselves so hopefully there should still be goals even if they do ring the changes.
All bar one of Nice’s competitive fixtures have seen at least two goals scored and their pre-season form against a variety of European opposition saw them score and concede freely. Last season saw 16 goals across their 6 EL group games, too. Waregem have been scoring well in the Belgian league so far this season but aren’t shy of letting one in either.

One game that sticks out on its own merit comes from Romania. Funnily enough, FCSB and Plzen both met in the CL qualification stage back in July. Perhaps surprisingly, the two ties saw a flood of goals. In Romania, the two played out a 2-2 draw before FCSB smashed Plzen on their own turf 1-4 in the return leg. FCSB went on to lose 1-5 at home to Sporting Lisbon after a bore draw in the first leg of that tie.
What are the chances a meeting of the two sees goals and/or both sides netting again? Just two months on, Plzen have continued their scoring form and FCSB had 5 consecutive domestic league games see BTTS in and around their tie with Plzen.
Looks good, but it’s the Europe League – who knows what might happen.

One team that has caught my eye since studying todays card yesterday is Vadar. Beat Fenerbache home and away and have a very strong record at home.
