THE card may be big tonight but as I've said elsewhere it's not easy due to the uncertainty of the English League Cup.

North of the border I'm extremely confident about goals in the Betfred Cup games at Celtic and Hibs. Both are expected to win well at home to Kilmarnock and Ayr respectively and there is a possibility the visitors will contribute to the goal count.

Celtic have netted 23 in their last seven home games against Killie but conceded in both league matches against them at Parkhead last season.

Likewise Ayr scored in two visits to Easter Road last campaign without losing but two divisions now separate the sides with Hibs looking strong. Ayr though beat Killie in their Betfred group opener and have netted 20 goals in five games so won't go there scared.

Complete the treble with Luton v Ipswich. Luton notched the eye-catching resulf of the weekend when they hammered Yeovil 8-2 in their League Two opener. They entertain an Ipswich who usually play weakened sides in this tournament. Should be goals here and it wouldn't surprise me if Luton won at around 2-1.

2pts Over 2.5 Goals Treble

  • Celtic v Kilmarnock
  • Hibs v Ayr
  • Luton v Ipswich
