IT was one tip and one loser on Tuesday as Jamaica failed to live up to expectations after a decent opening Copa America show against Uruguay.
Copa America hasn’t been too kind to me after a good start on the opening night with Chile and after a goal glut on Monday with 11 in two games it was disappointing to see the guest Jamaican side fail to hit the target.
We Love Betting I noticed after putting up my tip that they also fancied btts in the Paraguay game. I found the Argentina-Uruguay game tough to call so didn’t have a bet. I’m slightly consoled by the fact the We Love Betting guys are also finding the tournament tough despite the graft they put in before it started and the amount of research they did into each team.
On Wednesday it’s the start of the European Under-21 Championship with tournament favourites Germany in action against Serbia in Group A and hosts Czech Republic opening affairs against Denmark.
Germany are 9-4 at Bet365 and Betfred to win the tournament ahead of England (4-1, Bet365) and Portugal (6-1, Paddy Power).
The Germans have any easier group but much is of expected of England – Harry Kane and all – despite being paired with Portugal and Italy as well as rank outsiders Sweden.
Germany’s toughest test is likely to be a Serbia side who shocked Spain in the play-offs to qualify with a 2-1 aggregate success. They are 4-7 at Betfred to win and Serbia have been weakened by the loss of Aleksandr Mitrovic, top scorer in qualifying, who has been promoted to the senior squad.

So what is the tip here then? Germany Under 21 and England National? Thanks.
