THERE were no winners last week so as we count down to the end of the season Paul Petrie retains his convincing lead in the bookies' challenge.
The McBookie.com man has won £286.91 to £10 stakes while William Hill's Owen is on £72.25. Owen some catching up to do and has taken a big-priced treble which includes one of Paul's picks Culter. Here are Saturday's tips from the duo.
Owen writes: “I was unlucky again last week with my big-priced treble last week as only one let me down so I'll go for the jackpot again on Saturday.
“I'm starting in the West Region and I'm taking one of the form sides of the First Division Largs at 2-1 away to Cumbernauld. Largs have put a few results together now which looks like keeping them in the division when only a few weeks ago they seemed down and out.
“Lochee Utd (13-8) away to Armadale are my next pick. Both sides are battling to stay up but I reckon Lochee Utd can get the three points and leapfrog Armadale for now.
“Culter at 6-4 are my final pick as they play host to Hermes in a cup semi-final. Hermes have already won the league but I feel Culter can get the win to stop them adding more silverware.”

Paul writes: “First up I am backing Culter to beat Hermes at 9-5 in the North Regional Cup. Hermes have sealed the title but this gives the home side a chance for revenge and they will have more motivation than the league winners and look good value.
“Next I am backing Johnstone Burgh to beat Royal Albert at 8-15. A win will see them jump into second place and while they will be feeling the impact of playing so many games in recent weeks they should still be too strong for the away side.
“Finally, in the East Region I am going for St Andrews to beak Oakley at 4-7. They lost favouritism for the league after slipping up to Broughty in midweek but can bounce back and keep the pressure on Tayport. This really is a must-win game so I am confident they will be well up for it.”
