ABERDEEN gave me my only winner on Sunday and it's not been the greatest of weekends.
I knew it would be a tough couple of days on UK football and I was one Brentford goal short on the Top Treble after also taking wins for Nottm Forest and Norwich.
Last month I was 50pts up and I don't want to give it all back so let's hope for a decent week and well done to all those, including HullShaker, who posted winners.
Tonight's big game is Chelsea v Middlesbrough and after Spurs' slip-up at West Ham on Friday I don't expect the leaders to stumble against doomed Boro.
The champions-elect are a best 2-11 with Ladbrokes and for me it's only a question of how many they'll win by. Boro have conceded four on their last two on the road at Bournemouth and Hull so consider Chelsea to score 3+ at 5-6 with BetStars or even 3+ at 2-1 with bet365.
I'm tempted by the -2 at 7-5 with Paddy Power but for a safer Super Single I'm on Chelsea -2AH at 10-11 with the Irish firm. In fact let's do both.
Other bets to consider are Chelsea to win both halves at 6-5 with Paddy and Chelsea to win to nil although it's a little short at 3-4 with McBookie.
Eden Hazard would be my first-score pick at 4-1 with Skybet while Diego Costa is 5-2 across the board.
The only other top-flight game on my radar is Leganes v Real Betis but there are plenty of lower league matches and I might add a double or treble.

Few can imagine how unbelievable Chapocoense’s achievement of retaining their title with just loan and youth players and not a sniff of a former international pulled out of retirement to help them over the finish line.
I’ve never been a religious person, but I do believe they had that drive and motivation of honouring those they lost in that plane crash last year to work their ar*es off to earn it. Definitely my team of the year.
Onto championship football, my only decent shout yesterday was Fulham bbts, my miserable 4 way acca of wins for Derby and Brentford and draws for Forest and Birmingham was 100% off. When it rains it pours. To make it even worse, neither the Red dogs or my step-dads Birmingham fell through the trapdoor.
Still, every cloud has a silver lining, we get 2 matches next season against both of them.

Completely agree with Mr F and Chris Guy’s thoughts on Chelsea goals later on but I’ve decided to take a slight detour over to Iceland in the hunt for goals first…

I noted last week in the Urvalsdeild opener that high-flyers FH had looked vulnerable for some time and so iy proved true as they let in 2 before runni g out 2-4 winners against newly promoted IA.
