MOST people agreed it was going to be a tough day and that's how it turned out. However, I managed a 3pt profit for the day thanks to my Burnley -1 Super Single.
On the accumulators it was a break-even day thanks to a 4-1 both team to score treble that cancelled out four losers.
Jordan, Greg Browning and Desmond missed out while Scott Allot's both to score treble came in when Monaco netted with 10 men at Lyon.
On Sunday it's the final day of the League Two programme with issues to be settled at the top and bottom and I've picked out a few teams I like.
There are three matches in the Premier League with Man City v Arsenal the big one and in Scotland Celtic will be presented with the Premiership trophy if they avoid defeat at home to Aberdeen.
For my Top Treble I'm siding with two League One teams who need a result. A point for Fleetwood at home to Crewe would see them safe but they should get all three against the relegated outfit who have lost five in a row.
Doncaster are all but down and face more misery at home to a Burton side who need a point to seal promotion ahead of Walsall. Again I expect them to get all three.
Complete the treble with PSV who go head to head with Ajax on the last day of the season. The sides are locked on points but Ajax have a better goal difference of six and an easier game at De Graafschap. PSV need to win and hope for the best.
For the Super Single I'm going with Southampton draw no bet at Spurs. The Londoners looked shattered after Chelsea came back from two down last week to end their title hopes.
Southampton on the other hand played superbly in mauling Man City, albeit against a weakened team, and should be keen to put on another good show against ex-boss Mauricio Pochettino's men.
At their best Saints could win this but a draw is more likely and there should be goals.

Site is always slow. It takes upwards of 10 seconds from pushing “submit” on a comment, to it posting. I can’t for the life of me figure out how that is acceptable. Whenever it is brought up, Fixit just says he doesn’t see a problem and that it’s working fine for him.
The comment system in itself is too basic and not optimal. For starters, it takes forever to place a comment, and on some days the order of the comments are not linear, making it difficult to follow any new ones. Fixit says he doesn’t know what this is about, but myself and others have commented on it on several occasions, so not sure what the denial is about.
Following the likes of harrybaines and kelly.d and their inplay bets is also extremely difficult. You literally have to sit and press F5 all day (which is also tedious, as half the time it’ll give you a 503 HTTP error).
I’ve voiced this before and have sent email describing this, but of course have heard nothing back.
markus, anything technical to do with the site is an admin concern – I just do the tips.
I’ve had problems the last few days but I deal with the back end of the site so that’s why it’s different for me.
Admin are doing all they can do get the bottom of it.
We want the site to work as well as it can so your comments are quite strange.

@markus I know what you mean mate, this site takes considerably longer to load tha any other site i have been on and there is quite a few errors. Takes me around 15 seconds for the site to load and i am on fibre optic. Not sure why its takes so long to load, maybe the server is a unusual one im not too sure.

it was just an explanation/background info that kinda explains why its sometimes tough to have that focus from 1st thing in the morning to give you my thoughts.
after making a huge stride towards recouping some of my losses, It went pear shaped on a single – Mansfield, yesterday. The only saving grace is that I’d banked another £100.
I’ve also had 4x back to back failures on either the 1st or 2nd bet today including my last Burton. I can’t be too downhearted because I’m still a good £560 up on the week and Burton – my 2nd team are now playing in the championship. Hats off to Nigel Clough, today he finished off his ” unfinished business ” he’s the one who started the surge up the leagues from the very lowest of rungs. 14 years ago, they were promoted to the dizzy heights of the Conference league. And when he left Burton for Derby, he left them 17 points clear and 5 games in hand, Peschisolidou – his 1st appointment limped them over the line to get into the footie league for the 1st time that season.
I have a bit of shopping/spending to do this next few days and I will probably restart my fresh challenge. I have some new restrictions that I am going to be using to help pace myself, i’ll post them up on Monday when the new thread is up.

Corners can be dodgy as an early GL, red card etc can change a game massively but it’s my favourite market. Keep an eye on teams that get a few at home Liverpool spurs etc and home and away Frosinone Torino etc, SA can be great value too but Inplay is probably best to see how a games foing
