THE big game in France today sees Lyon host Monaco as the battle for second place and automatic Champions League qualification goes down to the wire.
Both sides’ matches have had plenty of goals recently and both to score is the shout here at 7-9 with Unibet.
There’s a similarly tight battle in the Bundesliga for fourth place and the final Champions League spot and Hertha Berlin – who’ve lost four of their last five – hope to get back on track at home to Darmstadt.
However, Darmstadt have the fourth best away record in the top flight and have only failed to net once in their previous 11 on the road, so I’m on both to score at 7-8 with Unibet.
I’m completing the treble with Rio Ave v Porto (13-15, Unibet) in the Portuguese top flight. Porto are having a disappointing season by their standards, have kept just one clean sheet in eight away outings and their last four league visits to Rio Ave have seen btts land.
Back in the Bundesliga, Dortmund won’t win the title but have been unstoppable in 2016 and have goals and win records to go for against struggling Eintracht Frankfurt so I’m on Thomas Tuchel’s men at 12-25 with Sportingbet.
Likewise French champs PSG – they’ve already wrapped up the title but star striker Zlatan Ibrhamovic is chasing down club legend Carlos Bianchi’s record for most goals in a season (the Swede is currently three short on 34).
Laurent Blanc has vowed to field a strong team away to relegation-threatened Ajaccio so PSG are worth a look at 11-20 with Sportingbet.
I’m rounding off the treble with Swiss champs Basel who clinched their seventh straight title last week. They have nothing to play for but I’m willing to risk them scoring a couple at third-bottom Zurich who are winless in five and have shipped seven goals in their last two games.
Both Teams to Score Treble
Hertha Berlin v Darmstadt (2.30pm)
Rio Ave v Porto (4.15pm)
Lyon v Monaco (8pm)
Basel to score 2+ (7pm)
