THE Juventus-Real Madrid Champions League didn't quite go to plan but the result was fine for those who didn't bet on a winner.
My main tip was Cristiano Ronaldo to score at 17-10 and as was said yesterday you don't often see him priced above evens. The only top tip I posted was both to score at Inverness-Dundee Utd at 10-11 and it was in before half-time.
I was another day of Harpreet winners and the usual backlash – I'm dreading the reaction next time he puts up a loser. Yes, he could be more modest but that's not his style. Let's put the circus to bed and please only comment on his tips if you've actually backed them.
For quite a while now we've been planning changes to the site, especially regarding the comments, and I'm hoping these go ahead before the start of the new season. April was another record month for traffic on the site so we could rest on our laurels but that won't happen and in the summer the mrfixitstips team will be sitting down and planning some exciting new additions.

And so to Wednesday – and I've already posted my thoughts on the second semi-final between Barcelona and Bayern Munich. I can't see past and in-form and free-scoring Barca although the Pep Guardiola factor could come into play.
My Tuesday Super Single in the Daily Record was Ronaldo to score and today's is Luis Suarez to score at 28-17 with 888sport. That could be the site pick too but I won't decide until lunchtime.
The SPFL play-offs start and all four semi-finals look pretty close to call. Hopefully there will be a few goals in the games and I'll be looking at the stats closely in the morning.
In Serie A Torino v Empoli looks like a draw with both scoring and there are loads of games in the Portuguese second division and for anyone who has any knowledge feel free to post thoughts on the Norwegian Cup.
Having spent some time studying games today I'm sticking with Suarez to score as the Super Single. There are varying opinions on tonight's big match but as I've said in my preview I've been impressed with Barca recently and believe Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar will be too hot for a Bayern defence that struggled to live with Porto in the away leg of their quarter-final.
Start the Top Treble with both to score at Torino v Empoli. Empoli have been draw experts this season and have drawn 10 of their 16 away matches. They beat Napoli 4-2 last time out and five of their last six games have gone over 3.5 goals.
Torino's last five have saw both scoring but it was 0-0 when they met in Empoli earlier this season and there is no other recent h2h stats.
For the other two games take goals in the SPFL play-offs. All of these first-leg semi-finals look fairly tough to call but stats suggest there should be goals.
Firstly add both to score at Brechin v Alloa. This has happened in seven of nine previous meetings between the sides and Brechin's last five at home have finished 2-3, 2-2, 2-1, 3-0 and 1-3.
Alloa avoided automatic relegation from the Championship with a fine 3-0 win against Cowdenbeath with Michael Chopra scoring his first goal for the club. They have netted nine goals in four games so will be confident of netting but equally Brechin, who rested players in their 3-1 home defeat to Stranraer at the weekend, will expect to net.
Complete the treble with over 2.5 goals at East Fife v Stenhousemuir. Eight of the last 10 meetings between the sides have saw both net and look at Stenny's last six matches against higher-league opponents – 2-3, 2-2, 2-3, 2-3, 1-3 and 1-2.
Anyone looking for WDW tips on the Scottish could consider Arbroath at home to Queen's Park. Arbroath looked certs to win the league until a run of one win in 16 cost Allan Moore his job. He was replaced by Todd Lumsden a few weeks ago and the new manager at least sealed a play-off spot with a run of three games unbeaten.
Queen's have won just one of their last seven and manager Gus MacPherson is being linked with vacant posts at Raith and Dunfermline so there is a bit of uncertainty there.
Empoli beat Torino 1-0 in a stinker of a game to topple the Top Treble so I'm putting up another at 1pt for those who were lucky enough to miss the early game. Add Barcelona to win to the other two parts of the treble.

I have been following the site for a fairly long time now and I’ve finally decided to post a comment!
For my first selection I’m going with Barcelona to win, they are quite obviously in great form right scoring for fun and go into this game with confidence. I may also consider Suarez anytime at 11-8 with SkyBet. Bayern may have won the title but since then things haven’t gone to plan by going out of the German cup to Dortmund on penalties and then losing 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen and with the likes of Robben, Ribery and Alaba not in the squad tonight that will surely lower their chances, for me there is only one winner tonight in this game and that is Barcelona.
There is a game in Italy with Torino taking on Empoli. Torino are unbeaten in 5 including an impressive 2-1 win against Juventes, they currently sit 9th in Serie A and a win tonight would see them move up to 6th and give them a good chance of making European football next season. Empoli had a surprising 4-2 win against Napoli in their last game which saw them pretty much safe from relegation, I can’t see them putting on another performance like that again especially as they’re not playing for their lives today! However because of their high confidence now going into this game and decent away record, I will playing it safe and going with Torino not to lose (double chance)

Thanks Dave, think Bayern have more than enough pulling forward with Schweinsteiger, Alonso and Thiago pulling the strings. Guardiola may opt to play Lahm fullback to prevent either Neymar or Messi ripping them apart. I think Rafinha is a weak link.
If your not confident on anything, Over 0.5 goals is surely a certainty then look into some decent value on the inplay to increase your profit is defo the way forward :)

I can not see Barcelona losing tonight and for me personally it will be nice stake on DC @ 2/11. Not worth a punt if you don’t stake large so not recommending this to just my own bet.

Why all the posts regarding Harpreet? Why not just follow his tips and make money? Consider this;
1. Harpreet is at this present time the best tipster this site has.
2. He tips 1 and at most 2 games a day, not half a dozen different tips and picks out the odd winner.
3. He is prepared to research far and wide for his games not the daily headline match that anybody can take a guess at.
His figures are fantastic as he is in profit time and time again which anyone would love to match. His tips are free with no reward to himself other than his own bets. Back his tips and ignore everything else that is said if it annoys you but don’t knock a record that is worthy of a tipster who would charge for these tips.

egarding the election betting-Raal usually has an idea? And I have a couple, I just haven’t posted them because I didn’t think anyone would be interested. I’m involved with politics so I have somewhat of an opinion but doesn’t mean they’ll come true…it really depends what you’re looking for but here’s some of my suggestions and I have placed bets on all-here’s my personal stakes:
Conservatives to win the most seats @ 2/9 (100% stake or leave it I know it’s short)
David Cameron to be next Prime Minister @ 10/11 (100%)
Lib Dems to form part of a coalition @ 11/8 (33%)
Conservative majority @ 9/1 (10%)
One bet I really like: composition of next government-Other @ 22/1 (5%) this means if it’s 3 or more parties, the Lib Dem bet could come in too, I also think if the Tories win-DUP may help them out which would also make it a winner.
Can’t find anywhere to bet on it by UKIP to win 4 or less seats would be good. I reckon they’ll win 3 and that’s @ 11/2 but I won’t personally bet on that.
It’s hard to choose in a way as the polls are close and nobody knows what will happen. What I do know is a lot more people are scared to say they vote Tory than Labour-e.g 1992. Only take what you want from here but this can be seen as Sheffield Hallam has been cut for the Lib Dems from 4/7 to 1/5 due to Tory tactical voting.
Probably be all wrong in the end but if you have any questions I’ll do my best!

Harpreet, we do not agree on everything but we both know that backing goals is a guaranteed way to beat the bookies and you are proving it day after day. Alan I’m gonna stick with the same method as always with the score draw. Pre match £50 on over 0.5mgs and in play £50 on draw. If it’s 0-0 you’re £100 profit, if it’s a score draw you’re £152 in profit, any other score you’re £2 profit. Works well for me, ended 100 in profit using this way for the Madrid derby in the quarter finals and you’d expect this game to be quite tight, which is obvious from everyone tipping both barca and bayern double chance

Rico I’m as confident with that one as I am the others. I’m not an expert on Norwegian football but the four occasions I’ve had a go on the Norwegian Cup I’ve picked a winning accumulator.
Absolutely no doubt in my mind that the bet will be a close run thing but theres always that danger that one team will let it down.
My logic in Norwegian football is that there is such a gap between the different leagues. The dodgy bets in the cup are home sides around 1/2 and when you look into stats etc its actually a very even contest with two teams in the league.
I’ve studied all the games and any I’m not sure about I’ve left out. i.e. teams in a higher league who are out of form and playing a team in form.
If your not sure on Sogndal winning why not remove them and I’m sure it will still pay out at 5/1.

Harpreet, I’m with you, I think that Barca will win tonight. I find it unlikely that Bayern will win. But I would not bet against them in such a big game at 2/11, because anything can happen in a game as big as that and Bayern are more than capable of causing an upset. Few bets for me tonight after a good night on the juve v real game last night…. My initial thought was barca win and btts reasoning is Bayern are a big side… Easily able to score from set plays against a smaller barca side…. Think that’s priced at around 5/2… Think barca will easily score 2 or 3 tonight so I may be tempted by the higher prices of barca win 3-1 3-2 or 4-2 for a much bigger return for a smaller stake…. Been thinkin about the game tonight and i just can’t see past a Barcelona win! Bayern have a few players missing and with the barca trio firing on all cylinders i just cant help but back them especially after seeing porto bang 3 past them in the first leg and Leverkusen also beating them 2-0 at home last time out. Suarez moved to barcelona for these type of nights and i think he will take the opportunity with the form he is in!
