THE World Championships in Sheffield come to an end today and Shaun Murphy is expected to be the last man standing.
Murphy holds a narrow 9-8 lead over Stuart Bingham, who is playing his first world final and has battled back from 3-0 and 8-4 down.
Bingham has done brilliantly to keep in touch but bookies still expect him to miss out on glory, with the 38-year-old priced up at at 23-10 by Boylesports for victory in the best of 35 frame clash while Murphy is 2-5 at the likes of Skybet and Ladbrokes.
Andy Murray saw his hopes of a first clay title delayed by the rain at the Munich Open on Sunday and he resumes today 3-2 down in the first set against Philipp Kolhschreiber. Murray is 4-11 at bet365 while the German is 2-1.
There's a load of Madrid Open action today with the likes of John Isner, Fabio Fognini and Richard Gasquet taking to the court while in the women's draw Caroline Wozniacki against Christina McHale is among the matches.
And in the NBA there's the start of two play-off series with Chicago Bulls taking on Cleveland Cavs and LA Clippers travelling to Houston Rockets.
Good luck with your bets and post your sporting tips and chat here.

Tip for the Cavs/Bulls game. Get yourself a coin, give it a flip and name one heads and one tails :D
Bets for the Rockets/Clippers game will be determined on whether one man is fit and that is Chris Paul who is currently questionable. If he’s out I’d fancy the Rockets to take the win with -6. CP3 is that important for LA. Their bench is thin enough as it is.
huggy`s main bet is either gonna be bulls +5 but i also fancy them for the straight win or the other choice might be houston -3 ht spread as they look to show dominance in the early stages.
might have a go also at the bulls/cavs ht total over 98.5 but that`ll be a small bet.
what you guys on once team news has been released ?
think we all made a few bob in the gsw game and i think they`ll cover the 10 again , also the 6.5 for wizards looks chunky.
also fancy this treble at 1.63/1
wizards +11.5
golden state -3
clippers / houston over 205
catch you all tomorrow guys…
Huggy was just looking at the Wizards/Warriors spreads for game two. Bradley Beal took a nasty fall so I’d be inclined to see what his status is after his 28 point game for the Wizards. Mike Conleys eye still looked a bit swollen so will be interesting to see if he plays for Memphis too. The same double that I posted @ Skybet pays EVS this time (Wizards +12/Warriors -4) which is what I might go for depending on the team news.
No Love or JR Smith for Cleveland so I might go with a Bulls prop tomorrow. Taj Gibsons points look extremely low at 8. Although he doesn’t start, his post game and mid range is decent and will be a good match up against the Cavs who like to go small (my knowledge is getting better). Will see tomorrow. Chris Paul plays and I’ll be on that total in Houston. Night mate.

SINGLE:
– Kohlschrieber to beat Andy Murray @ $3.00 (1 point)
The 5- Fold is pretty solid imo, the only 1 in a bit iffy on is Stosur but she should be too strong. As for Kohlschrieber, he looked good in the 5 sets they managed to play yesterday (interrupted by rain) and I think he’ll come through with the win. I did tip Kohlschrieber last week to win Munich outright.
SNOOKER TIP:
– Murphy vs Bingham OVER 6.5 Match Centuries @ $1.90 (2.5 points)
17 frames into the final and both have scored 2 centuries each. Just need another 3 Centuries in the 2nd half of the match and this will land. Once again, the bookies have underestimated how many Centuries are scored in the long format of snooker. I’ve made a killing on the overs throughout this whole tournament.
*meant to say ‘5 games’ Murray & kohl achiever played yesterday, not 5 sets, sorry
Huggy, I missed the GSW & Wizards game cod forgot they start early on a Sunday (they acted during my night so was asleep)! So annoyed, it gets me every Sunday, lol
not on your own mate , i missed the start to the wizards game but did put up an inplay of wiz +6.5 when they were behind ,also that gsw was money , think most had a win or 4 on that game.
well done on the green , and we`ll go again with the hoops later , see what all the guys fancy . anything you like the look of ?
To continue on the OVERS in the Snooker, this seems like a GIFT:
– Stuart Bingham OVER 2.5 Centuries @ $1.50
Bingham has already scored 2, so he’s got another 17 odds frames to get 1 more. He’s got 8 to his name so far in the tournament, and has recorded the highest break so far, being a 145 against Ronnie O’Sullivan! We know the guy can build a big break so I’m shocked the Bookies have $1.50 for him to score 1 more.
This is perfect to add as another leg to any Acca, or good enough as a Single if you are prepared to double stake it.
Huggy mate, I’m liking Bulls +5.0 and the under 194.0 for the 1st game. In the other one, I like Rockets -6.0 but need to see if Paul is playing. Clippers will be tired & on the road so no doubt about the rockets to win but laying the 6 will be hard if Paul plays
mate those are probably gonna be my 2 , whether chris paul plays or not. post my tips later.
gutted those on gsw over 103 total points , with 2 min 40 left and 101 they arsed about and cost people money…
hate that !!!
I can see this one being a very closley contested series. A lot of focus will be on the missing Kevin Love who dislocated his shoulder during the first-round series against the Boston Celtics, and will miss the remainder of the postseason. The question is, will the Loveless Cavs be enough of a game changer for the Bulls to win the series? No one can question the impact Love has for the Cavs who has averaged 18.3 points and 9 rebounds through the first 3 games against the Celtics. Interestingly we have a insight as to how the Cavs might fair without Love but we have to go back to Feb 12th when the Cavs played without Kevin Love against the Chicago Bulls due to an abrasion in Love’s right eye. The result was a 113-98 road loss, and a sneak peak at how Cleveland might look in the next series.
Loves replacement that night was Tristan Thompson who again will likely replace Love as the starting power forward alongside center Timofey Mozgov. Thompson is a solid player and not to be underestimated but although he is more than capable of averaging high double figures, he’s nowhere near the scorer Love is and his defence will also be asked questions when matched up against Gasol which was more than evident with Gasol getting the better of Thompson back in Feb.
Of course Cavs Love loss will not be the only deciding factor in a closely fought series and they do of course have LeBron James, he is arguably the greatest player on the planet. He is enormous, quick, and intelligent. He can defend anyone, get so many open shots for his team mates and muscle through anyone on this Bulls squad. This man is the biggest deficit creator for every team in the league. Jimmy Butler has had trouble guarding James in the past in the few times we’ve seen it happen, and it might be a fixture in this series. If LeBron can impose his will on the series, it’ll cover up some of the Cavaliers’ weaknesses.
Another big factor for the outcome of the series will be the Bulls depth in the frontcourt. 2014 MVP candidate Joakim Noah and two-time champion Pau Gasol are the starting combo, with super-sub Taj Gibson and rookie sensation Nikola Mirotic coming off the bench. The Cavs on the other hand with the exception of Mozgov are lacking somewhat in this department and the Bulls big four could give the Cavs plenty of trouble.
The Bulls clearly have a coaching advantage and more shooters to punish Cleveland. With Rose and Butler they have two players who can really rack up the points. With Butler putting up 24.8 points per game and Rose averaging 19, but if there is a fighting chance at knocking LeBron James out of the playoffs, it’s the fact that he is lacking a weapon in Love to stretch the Bulls defence and ignite fast breaks with defensive rebounds.
Defensively the Bulls are questionable at best and sit 11th in the standings. Having said this I was impressed by their defensive display against the Bucks and even more impressivley thei defence was so tight that the Bucks highest scorer with 8 was Pachulia who averages just 7 points per game. I’m not saying that the Bulls can shut down James and Irving but if they can force some errors then I feel along with some of the other factors already mentioned the Bulls have a realistic chance of winning this series.

Kohlschrieber taking Murray all the way. Any1 else on him?
Kohlschrieber unlucky to lose 1st set in a tiebreak like that. Both are playing at exact same level.
Just a quickie.I haven’t been watching the snooker every day but dipping in here and there.I’ve been betting on first colour to be potted in the frame. on betbright I’ve been on black at 17/10.decent little bet for long format.the longest its gone without the black being first colour potted was 4 frames.I think there is potential to make a tidy profit by doubling your stakes after each lose. like I was saying every 3 or 4 frames its been coming in.can see the final going all the way today too.good luck everyone. any thoughts mr fixit?
dave-carlisle, firstly you’d need to be watching the whole final. It’s risky if it goes a few frames without the black being potted first – not one I’d be doing but good luck with it.
Kohlschrieber breaks Murray in the 2nd! Boo yah! This one might go to a 3rd. He’s playing really well
Haha 2 minutes 40 on 101 points and you see Bogut trying to knock down a 3. You know its not your night haha, not touching the Bulls/Cavs game myself other than a prop. Not all markets available but players I’m looking at are LeBron or Kyrie. Maybe LeBron over Kyrie as he’s a ‘I’ll win this sh*t by myself’ kind of guy.
Think paul is more likely to miss the game than play I doubt they will risk him tonight in a 7 game series
Houston Rockets ht/ft @ 20/23
What a performance by Kohlschrieber. He loses 2-1. Both lost sees we’re tie breaks. He actually played better than Murray and had a lot more break points but Murrays class won out saving the breaks and winning the tie breaks.
Happy to lose a few quid on an underdog when they put in such a great fight.
Unlucky, Attila, thought Murray was going to chuck that away. Small margins in tennis, eh? must have been almost equal with points won
I think he might start you know. Had an MRI yesterday that didn’t reveal any structural damage. It’s only around 8:00AM in Muricah’ though so we should wait until if he participates in the shoot around.
Well just have to play the waiting game buddy im putting it down to you to get the info haha
Felix, exactly same amount of points won, 19 each – just goes to show how close it was! Kohlschrieber was probably the best ‘at value’ single I’ve had in a while, gutted he didn’t come thru in the end (especially as he was a break up in that final tie-break at one stage)
Not had a chance to study the tennis card but Giraldo @ 11/5 to beat Fabio 2-0 is worth a few quid. Every chance of Fab collapsing.
Good tipping. Was always going to be close. Will be interesting to see how Kohlschreiber gets on against his first round match in Madrid against Falla. He put a lot into Munich.
Fog was an absolute disgrace against Thiem the other day, he basically put no effort in at all. You get the feeling he only cares about beating Nadal to prove he’s supreme on clay and not much else matters. Thiem then went on to lose to Gerald Melzer of all people, which says it all.

really think bulls will win hunter ? theyve let me down too many times recently have to go with cavs.
Mlac, I think it will be a tight series that will go to 7 games so I wouldn’t go chucking too much money at it. From a betting prospective it’s a game many would avoid but I personally feel that small stakes on the Bulls is worth the gamble. Good luck with your bets mate.

needless to say monaco has surface edge here
only seen one game and Giraldo played it like a 12 year old me would have done. Shocking!
He’s playing pretty bad. Fognini is just toying with him really. Oh well.
Paul (hamstring) remains a game-time decision for Game 1 against the Rockets on Monday, but was limited in shootaround Monday, Arash Markazi of ESPN reports. (about 1 hour ago)
No bets for me until I know Paul is in or not. Good luck with whatever you go for lads.
Props bet:
Jimmy Butler points Over (21.5) @ 10/11 William Hill.

CHI Blackhawks ML @ 5/4 Betway

**WINNER** :)
Well done to anyone who followed.
Blackhawks are now available @ 7/4 Betway to repeat the feat for a third time. I’d advise holding off placing a bet until I find out some news.
Cheers Hunter, I did jump on and will be looking out for your thoughts tonight!
Tomic = Moron. Pathetic tiebreak
Right, I’m taking this on small stakes. As we know Cleveland are without two starters in Love and Smith. LeBron is LeBron but I’d rather go with Kyrie here, as JR Smith and Kevin Love are two of Clevelands biggest three point shooters, so the load will be on Kyrie slightly more. LeBron likes to attempt the three just as much but doesn’t sink them as often.
Kyrie Irving to score 25 points or more @ EVS @ Ladbrokes. His total is ranges from 23.5 @ 8/11 @ PP to 25.5 @ 10/11 so this is the best option for the point extra from PP. Small stakes remember.
Who you think will win this snooker Jordan looks like a toss of a coin mate
Darran I know more about quantum physics than I do snooker. Which is f*ck all.
Murphy’s probably got the record for most fouls in the one frame in the world championships mad as fcku
Old Bingham’s had to go for a jipsys mid frame
anyone fancy kyrgios ?
Glad you were on it Jack.
With regards to game 3 of the series, this is a must win situation for Wild against Blackhawks and with home advantage and the crowd on their side they’ll look to benefit from an opening goal, something they haven’t done yet.
The home advantage added to the fact this is a must win game for Wild is the only reasons I can see as to why the Blackhawks have drifted in price.
Once again for me the price is to big NOT to back and I’ll be hoping the Wild’s eagerness to strike first will backfire and they’ll be hit on the counter from the Blackhawks big players.
Betway for reasons I don’t understand have them as big as 7/4 to win the 3rd game and effectively end the Wild’s chances.
CHI Blackhawks ML 7/4 @ Betway
6/5 and similar elsewhere.
The best of luck if you follow.
Attilla – Did you get your centuries bet in
Jordan I thought u were top snooker tipster?
Any updates on chris Paul buddy can’t find anything myself
Probably gonna stick to my bet anyway I think wether he plays or not but would be a big bonus if he is out
Game time decision buddy, don’t worry I’m on it like a hawk! There was this tweet not long ago from the Clippers. ‘Los Angeles Clippers @LAClippers · 35m 35 minutes ago
W/ Paul’s status uncertain tonight, Austin feels ready if needed in an increased role’.
I’m asking myself the same question about Kyrgios ‘Mlac’.
Both reached finals on clay last week, just wonder if home advantage will come in to it for Gimeno-Traver and if it does, will it be significant factor or not?
Tough call.
Any thoughts Ad?
Jordan, I like your reasoning behind your Irving props bet. Would be on it myself had I not already backed Butler.
Not sure if you’ve placed it yet but you’d get a better price at Ladbrokes with half a point less:
Irving @ Evens over (25) points.
Good luck bud.
Hunter, you must have misread because that’s the market I’m on bud haha
David Wiseman – still waiting. Need 1 more Century for the over 6.5 to land. Bingham over 2.5 landed easily tho. In also on Murphy over 2.5 from yesterday but he’s had a shocker today Century-wise
Hey guys, following eveyone’s picks and alos add Houston -6.5 as my single.
Rockets have been resting and preparing for a week, Clippers come out of a 7-leg matchup with spurs, can’t see anything other than a easy win for the home team.
Oh and Curry awarded regular season MVP will pump up Harden for tonight as well.
GL guys!
^Ignore the above just noticed you’re already on this!! Too much beers watching the Gunners earlier ;)
Anyone know the odds on Bingham before a ball was potted?
Small stake on that Oriaz. Good luck to you too.

Hahahaha Jimbobs posts, always short and sweet yet so entertaining! Top guy!

Sorry Capone 50-1 at very start of tournament
Just heard he was 50/1, very nice indeed
SS bet::
Bulls – Cavs over 195.5 pts
wat no snooker website jay ?
just a prop off you tonight
small interest stake on rockets ht/ft
Gimeno-traver played a very good match against Fed in istanbul but federer didn’t look quite right.
High altitude might suit kyrgios’s serve (less heavy, balls fly a bit faster)
First set tie break may be a good option
bulls +12
rockets -3
just under evens
I’m trying to find a bet for tonight and it seems like over 21.5 points for Butler seems one of the best picks.
Tom it’s possible but he’ll be guarded by none other than ‘King’ James.
Huggy probably plenty sites mate but no interest in snooker at all. Just the prop for now and waiting on that all important CP3 news.
Butler is a SG, thought he’d be guarded by JR Smith’s replacement, but I do guess that Lebron will guard Bulls’ best player right now.
Previews think it’ll be James and Butler on each other but LeBron has said he’ll guard everyone depending on the time and score.
Looked through Bulls vs Cavs h2h and I do see that Butler didn’t manage to get over the line in the 3 last games, concerns me a bit ngl.
In this case I might go low stakes on Butler over 31.5 on points, assists and rebounds for interest. Surely if Lebron guards him, he will be able to get a fair share of assists.
Cheers Felix, any other picks take your fancy tomorrow?
I’m sure butler and lebron will be up against each other its been like that in previous games with these guys It could get quite spicy I don’t think they like each other tbh
21.5 points for butler is a miss for me but GL
Bulls +9.5
Rockets ML
@ $1.90 (10 points)
NY Yankees ML @ $2.02 (10 points)
NY Rangers WIN @ $2.54 (10 points)
Big stakes for me today, pretty confident (watch em all lose)
Good luck Tom mate. I’m with Kyrie as they’re short on a superstar. Think Irving and James will combine for at least 50 tonight. Hopefully Kyrie gets his 25.
ATILLA WHY ARE YOU JINXING BY BULLS BET
Hahahahaha
Hahaha brilliant!
Krygios match tomorrow- over 22.5 games at 5/6 would be the way to go instead of betting outright for the match,
Fun Bet:
– Cavs HT / Bulls FT @ $7.10 (1.25 points)
However Martin Klizan @ 4/7 with Ladbrokes looks great value, has been in v good form on the red stuff, going double stake , can’t see any other result,
Glad I didn’t recommend Banglaore in the IPL as they left a couple of their big players out,
Thanks Jordan for all the tips, on again with your tip
Agree on Klizan. His weight of shot should be too much for granollers. Should win if he doesn’t lose his head.
Not a lot is standing out Tomorrow, so maybe a few inplays.
Went with Kyrie overs Jordan, the game surpringly ahead, I placed the Kyrie bet during the game. I quickly saw that Dunleavy got a three pointer so was going to put some money on him but was too late, gutted.
Dunleavys total was 9.5 ffs haha
Looked at it for a bit but he was questionable, never mind. Cavs looking sh*t.
Bit of a slow start for Cavs
Cave are hopeless today…goes to show how important their missing starters are
Captain, Felix,
Your thoughts on Klizan, Cuevas, Monfils and Pliskova?
I like the look of the four of them myself, just looking for a second opinion:)?
Klizan, Cuevas and Pliskova all bang in form at the minute. I can’t see Monfils losing either.
Kyrie with 3 points in the first quarter, hoping for a big second quarter from Cavs
Wouldn’t count on it. Contemplating getting on the Bulls -4.5
He’s getting warm! 11 points.
13! Come on Kryie. Scored the Cavs last 10 haha
Indeed Jordan!!
derick rose ! Good LORD !
That’s the quarter I wanted!
Chris Paul will NOT play!

Haha Huggy only the 3rd lol but I think you’re safe to say that is a winner
What’s happening with kyrie?
Bulls are – 3.5 inplay doesn’t sound to bad currently an 8 point lead
Bulls -3.5 inplay @ 4/5
Thanks Jordan for the Kyrie prop, it is in!
Kyrie Irving to score 25 points or more @ EVS @ Ladbrokes **WIN**
Another prop bites the dust!
Jamal Crawford (Clippers) Over 16.5 Points @ 5/6 @ PP
Don’t go giving all the Irving winnings back though. £12 stake for me haha
With CP3 out, does the 102 points line for Clippers not seem too high?
Yes but I don’t do unders Tom.
Oo, the line for Crawford is at 15.5 on 365, worth £15?
Actually I might call it a night today, Bingham and Irving won me a bit, let’s not blow it aha. Good luck everyone with your bets for the Rockets game.
Yeah but its an awful price mate. 2/3. never seen that on 365 haha
mozgov needed 2 points and he’s sat on the bench for 15 minutes.. tossers
Unlucky huggy. If the Bulls keep this up it’ll make our Warriors bets look better :D
got bulls to win series in a double..
smith suspended next game , 2 down from home games its over

‘Think Irving and James will combine for at least 50 tonight.’

50 – 46 WINNER !!!!!
Pliskova – watched all of her matches last week and I would keep away from her as her game isn’t really suited to the clay as wells as other surfaces, the opposition she faced last week was poor and she basically grinded out each match because she’s a v tough competitor , Garcias a good player and three sets exactly may be the better bet,
Cuevas- haven’t seen much of him so can’t comment,
Monfils has played really well on clay even beating the one and only RF, Triocki won’t be easy however but monfils should come through
