IT'S been a great week on the Super Singles with a profit of about 27 points in six days.
I was more than 20pts down on Saturday night but starting with Stoke and finishing with two more winners on Friday – Pescara and Bray – I've turned it round nicely.
While the Super Single's moved in an upward direction the Top Treble's stalled but it's all profit I'm giving away and I'm still eight points up.
Everywhere you look on Saturday there’s a cup final – Scotland, England, France, Germany, Spain and even Munster v Glasgow in the Pro12 rugby.
And of course there’s the second leg of the Premiership final between Motherwell and Rangers tomorrow which I'll preview fully.
It’s the final round in Serie A today and tomorrow with Napoli and Lazio going head to head for a Champions League slot and some Europa League places up for grabs.
So while there’s quality there isn’t the same quantity and that’s reflected in my top tips with some scorers thrown in.
I'll post as many previews of cup finals as time allows but meanwhile here are this weekend's tips with PSG on the handicaps the Super Single as they face lower-league Auxerre at the Stade de France.

Buzzing for the match! talking with my old grandad on skype last night (he finds it amazing he can see his image on the screen bless him) about the 1957 team which ive been reminded of every month since i knew who villa was the likes of peter mcparland, johnny dixon etc.The busby babes as we know them was beaten that day 58 years ago apparently and as my grandad described last night one of the reason we won was the fitness of the players “We could have played for another hour and they still would not have beat us” He’s your typical old fashioned football fan who everyone from that era look back with lots of nostalgia. He was a winger himself back in the day and stills seems himself playing on the wing at villa park! I just wish we had some wingers from his era in todays game, similar even to what we are up against today gotta feed benteki with service and others need to help the big fella out instead of relying on hime.Its gonna be a tough game I hope we dont concede earlier as it could be a cricket score and that’s my worry with the defence which has been terrible for years now.

Looking at the FA Cup final today and it really does scream goals…only WDW I’d consider is Arsenal on the h/cap but even that might have its risks.
My initial bet would be Over 3.5 but that is short at 7/4 in most places…still well backable mind.
Willing to take pelters for it but I will be having a go at Over 4.5 match goals which jumps right up to a massive 9/2 (adjust stake accordingly) for one extra goal.
So, basically I’m looking for a 3-2 4-1 or 5-0 type scoreline…is that possible in today’s game? It’s not without a chance.

Day 4 of of the ‘Simon Wright / GillsRob system’
Disappointing day yesterday but sometimes it goes that way. Our hypothetical £120 bank is dipped slightly and now stands at £106.50. Some days will go like that – no-one likes it but you can’t win everyday. Again, days like yesterday highlight the importance of discipline and re-enforce the message Simon keeps giving to resist the temptation to lump on bets after a couple of good days.
From a +/- point of view we stand at -1 for this worked example at the moment (5 wins – 6 losses = 5-6 = -1)
Although it’s great to show the important of discipline though lets hope today demonstrates the good feeling of making some money! :o)

Preilu were a solid mid table side who finished with a GD of -32
Rezekne beat Preilu 5-1 in the corresponding fixture last season and also beat them 7-1 at home.
This season – Rezekne have admittedly been slow starters, winning just 5 of their opening 9 games. Preilu though have been shocking – 0 wins from 9 games and already 38 goals conceded prior to today.
The stats at HT seem to suggest the home side have been on top and are value for their lead but surely Rezekne are worth a look to come back and stamp their undoubted superiority on things in the 2nd half!

Afternoon Guys, FA Cup Final
I will be brief as I agree with what as already been said I expect an open final as Villa cant expect to defend for 90 mins and keep Arsenal quiet. They have lost their last two but I suspect they had one eye on the final once survival was guaranteed. I like both teams to score, Villa have been more potent in front of goal under Sherwood, and we seen Reading score in the semi final and Hull got two in last years final and Villa are better than both those sides. It pays 17/20 sportingbet.
Both teams to score is my main bet but I do like a goal scorer punt and I will take Benteke who has 13 in his last 14 and could be playing his last game for Villa. He is 13/5 Bet365. Last Sunday I tipped Walcott to score and he got a hat trick and starts the final and with his pace he could give Villa defence problems, he is 5/2 at Paddy Power.

I’ll post ‘the script’ in the morning but it’s the asian corner lines on Bet365 (2 way market so the line is set by them).
The results are really good if you take a long term view – thanks to Simon and Rob some people have really transformed their betting methods.

Some people have started with a betting bank of 120 and place 10 pound bets on each selection until hopefully reach a bank of 240 and then moving to 20 pound bets.
Only moving to 30 pound bets once you have 360 in the bank
You only move up 10 pounds once you have x12 of that stake ie 40 pound bets once you have 480
and 50 pound bets once you have 600 bank
Hope that helps but I am sure Simon could explain it better but just thought I would try and help

Was very happy to see the canaries get back in to the prem. thanks for posting that I will take a good look in the morning as I am a very careful low stakes and sensible betting guy anyway but I love to look at methods and paper test them as I love that kind of thing I don’t really do much cash wise other than raals tips in general and my own research but haven’t bet much lately as time hasn’t allowed me to research as much as I like to before parting with the hard earned :-) . It appears a good thing though it’s gathering praise I see so will look forward to your post on it mate .

I have been following for a week and a bit and started at level 3 (30 pound bets) and am one win away from moving to level 5 (50 pound bets) You go up and down within the system but hopefully given time it is an upward curve.
I am not making any other bets during this time to learn some discipline lol and to also give every possible chance of making some money

I’m good thanks mate – hope you’re keeping well too. I saw you mentioned family issues – hope all good now.
Seeing the canaries win and gain promotion last weekend was amazing. I’m still thriving on some of the adrenaline now I think! The city is so positive too – it’s brought a really good feel good factor to Norwich and the job that Alex Neil has done has been nothing short of incredible.
As Dave W mentioned – I’ve started a worked example (day 4 today) which will probably make sense but I know that Simon and Rob have an article which Mr F will publish next week. The basic concept though is:
1) Simon and Rob tip the asian corner market (Bet365 is the only/best place as far as I know). They either tip over or under and tip a number of matches so long as they meet criteria. Weekends seem to be busier (volume of games) but they dont compromise quality for quantity
2) They recommend a starting bank of 12 points (I called them slices of a cake!). You bet 1 pt per tip (you choose the value of the point – I used £10 as an example).
3) If a bet wins it’s outcome is +1, if it loses -1 and if it’s voided (because of the asian market) it’s a 0. So 3 wins, 1 void and 1 loss would be (+3) +0 -1 = +2
4) The aim is to double your bank (which is approximately +12) because each bet is around evens (usually between 1.8 – 2.0). In practice you probably need +13 as the odds are slightly less than evens
5) When you double you bank (i.e. stating £10 stakes and a £120 bank) to a £240 bank you then adjust your stakes. There are different options (increase stakes to £20, £30, £40 as you hit £240, £360, £480 bank is the one Dave W is using and that Simon mentioned initially).
6) The system works because their strike rate is circa 70% (betting at evens at level stakes a win and a loss cancel each other out so your strike rate needs to be over 50% to break even and nearer 70% to gradually make profit).
7) The system is a slow starter – it can take 7 days to hit +12 or 21 days (depending how many bets you have) but it’s got a long term success so even bad days can be ridden out. Today we’ve hit +6 (2 losers, 8 winners which make a profit of £49.75 against £10 stakes). That’s a great day – but yesterday we lost 3 points. Simon likens it to the FTSE – it has an underlying, long term upward trend. It’s a great analogy
Hopefully that gives you an insight into what we’re talking about – I’ll publish todays results shortly and an update on tomorrow’s bets (or today’s bets as they are now) around 9am.

As promised, to try and give a “show and tell” approach I’m running a hypothetical model of Simon Wright and GillsRob’s much talked about system. Hopefully the practical example will help people understand if there is any confusion.

At the start of day I said I’d hoped we’d have a good one and Simon and Rob didn’t disappoint (they said weekends were often good and today they weren’t wrong!)
So 8 out of 10 bets won (+8) and 2 of the 10 bets lost (-2) which gives us a daily total of +6.
This means the running totals are now:
21 bets placed
13 bets won (62% win rate to date)
This leaves us on +5 (add up all the outcomes) to date. The target is to get to +12
The stats now stand at:
Starting bank : £120
New bank : £156.25 (30% increase so far – the target is to get a 100% increase)
So it’s been a very good day and takes us back into a healthy profit. Hopefully anyone feeling a bit nervous this morning is feeling a bit more comfortable tonight :o) Of course, the health warning that keeps being echoed still applies – it’s a marathon not a sprint and don’t use today’s great results as a reason to lump on tomorrow. The reason this plan works is because it’s about taking a long term view with disciplined staking.
Simon’s posted 5 bets (so far) for tomorrow – I’ll post tomorrow morning to update the plan.
