MAY 26: JOHNB’S RACING TIPS AND CHAT

Racing_Betfred

JOHNB lost two points on Monday and while he accepts he’s on a bad run May is still showing a profit of 17.95 points.

That shows why it’s important to back all tips for long-term profits.

Johnb’s Tuesdays Tip

Lingfield 4.10
Suitsus 5-1 NB Ladbrokes

Leicester 4.30
Alfajer 11-4 NAP Bet365 Ladbrokes

Double
Suitsus & Alfajer 21.5-1 Ladbrokes

Johnb says: Alfajer’s last run at Doncaster in a Class 3 handicap was far stronger than anything Rosalie Bonheur has run in. Watching all of Alfajer’s runs so far she is improving with every run and she still looks to have bags of improvement in her.

“I also think it was a smart move by Marco Botti running Alfajer over 1 mile last time (first run this season) because that will have brought her on a lot for this drop back to 7 furlongs. The jockey booking is also a big plus with James Doyle booked and I am not surprised to see the money coming for Alfajer.”

Good luck folks and post your tips and chat here.

Ive got my doubts on the nap since Rosalie Bonheur is in this race too and is 3/3 and 100% at this distance plus dropping down from class 2 to class4?? Im no expert though so could be wrong

I know this has been asked a hundred times before, and I did try to search for a while, could anyone refresh my memory of the staking plan. Including how John b works the double stake on nap/nb??

Rosalie Bonheur was in a class 2 last time but it was a fillies Nursery class 2 which isnt that strong as a Nursery race is weak and this class 4 handicap is alot stronger for her
Alfajer’s last run at Doncaster in a class 3 handicap was far stronger than anything Rosalie Bonheur has run in

    Tips, betting intelligence and expert
insight LIVE from: LINGFIELD PARK RACING POST REPORTER

The opening 6f fillies’ maiden could be quite an informative affair with several of the top Newmarket yards represented, but punters only want to be with one horse, Tutu Nguru, who is now as short as 4-6 having been around 6-4 this morning. William Haggas’ US-bred filly cost connections $175,000 as a yearling.
Richard Hannon has a 40% strike-rate with 2yo newcomers at Lingfield but Lolla Fincess has been weak in the market this morning, possibly in the face of the strength of support for the favourite.

Meritocracy is the one for money in the feature 5f handicap and Paul Cole’s 4yo has been backed into 3-1 (from 5-1) to overcome his tricky wide draw.

There has been a very interesting move for Kevin Ryan’s Thowar who has been punted into as short as 8-1 from 20s in the last hour. There has also been support at big prices for Jimmy’s Hall (20-1 into 12-1) who has previously looked in the grip of the assessor this season.

A couple have been supported in the second division of the fillies’ maiden at 5.10. Pensionnat (9-1 into 5-1) is clearly expected to leave her debut run behind while the beautifully-bred Entity has proved strong at the head of the market (2-1 into 7-4).

  68. Andy 2 years ago

Hey guys just want to ask a question – why does Johnb put tips up on hard races the 2 today were awfull and yesterday – i only look upon this sit from time to time but for a tipster he seems to ick horses in the hardest of races
No one forces us to take them i know this, but why tip horses in such bad races which is often the case. yes during the month he get winners but why put horses up everyday – as im not even sure he really fancies them himself 100 percent but seems to feel pressured into tipping everyday
alot of you may not like what im saying but its just my opinion

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

Andy, most of your comment is nonsense. Firstly, he’s not pressured into tipping every day. Only he can answer about picking hard races but to say he’s putting up selections he doesn’t fancy is ridiculous.

  69. craig 2 years ago

    I agree with andy

Andy look at johnb points profit so far this month! Where is yours???……….

  78. WESLEY WEST 2 years ago

Andy, you are talking garbage. Johnb is the racing expert on this thread and has far superior racing knowledge to yourself and others. He has supplied me with a steady stream of Profit and winners. You can not judge him after no winners in 4 days. Johnb will bounce back and that’s a fact.

  79. Black&red14 2 years ago

Andy definitely not worked up as you say!just stating facts, have a nice evening.

  80. Andy 2 years ago

yous obviously dont see where im coming from im sure there will be those who agree with me and those who wont

I never in any post said he des not make profit in the month – someone would need to follow every tip and put on the right amount of money to get something back
someone just starting on site over past few days would be down – and to me its putting up silly gambles on hard races – each to there own
if its making you money well done carry on.

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

Andy, my advice to you: Follow someone else on another site who think will do better for you. You claimed he deliberately put up losers and that’s just nonsense.

  91. johnb 2 years ago

Said it time and time again I don’t get pressured into posting tips everyday
I only tip horses I believe will win
There are no hard races or easy races but there are horses that stand out
Sadly though these horses are not machines and just like humans can have off days

In the past I have been slated for the way I pick horses, I don’t just go on form which upset people in the past but my long term record says I am doing something right
If picking winners was just about reading form then there would be less bookies
I think outside the box by trying to second guess trainers because as I have said before trainers are creatures of habit and stick to what works just like me because for years I have stuck to what works
I don’t guarantee profits every month but I will get yearly profits
I would also like monthly profits to be higher but only one losing month this year “January” is still good going in my book
Yes the last four days have been bad but May is still showing a decent profit and who knows how the last few days of May will go but I won’t change how I pick horses

I was putting stats up because that’s what people wanted but also to prove you can make a profit from racing which has been proved on here over the last 18 months and will continue to this year and next year
For anyone that’s just started following I know its hard but what I keep preaching is Patience and level stakes
