I HAD four Super Singles in mind on Sunday and as fate would have it they all won. That's typical after struggling to get on a run in recent weeks.
Celtic I fancied on the handicaps with Inverness playing a severely weakened side, I liked Preston in the play-off final and commented about backing St Johnstone at 7-2 at Aberdeen. Luckily the one I settled on – Stoke to beat Liverpool landed as easily as you'd want.
I advised 4pts on Stoke at 5-2 to half the Super Single deficit in one foul swoop. At 3-0 Stoke I advised a 0.25pt cover on draw at 16-1 but it was needed as Liverpool ended up on the end of a horror 6-1 spanking.
One point was lost on the Top Treble but it was a decent day all round and I also advised Nadir Ciftci to score first for Dundee Utd and suggested Jermaine Beckord as the likely first scorer for Preston who won very easily with a superb hat-trick from the hitman.
On Monday the big game is Norwich v Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final and it's tough to call.
That's not the biggest match if you're Italian though as Lazio and Roma meet in a titanic derby. A Roma win will clinch second spot and a Champions League group spot while a draw takes the issue to the final game but also guarantees Lazio at least third and a Champions League qualifier ahead of Napoli who they face at the weekend in Naples.
The big question is will they play out the draw that freezes out Napoli and let it go to the weekend – it's a massive derby so I don't know if their rivalry will allow them to do that.
Elsewhere there are Dutch play-offs and loads of games in Scandinavia where backing goals is usually the way to go. In Norway it's second v first with Stabaek entertaining Rosenborg. Ten of the last 11 meetings have gone over 2.5 goals and the fixture promises plenty of thrills and spills.
Rosenborg have smashed 31 goals in nine, losing just once, and Stabaek have netted 12 in their last four. No wonder over 2.5 goals pays no bigger than 11-17 at Ladbrokes and it could be one for the Top Treble.
In Sweden I like Odd at Tromso and both to score at Djurgarden v AIK. There have been 20 goals with both scoring in Djurgarden's last four and both have scored in four of the last five meetings between the teams.
I've posted a separate preview on the Wembley showdown and having looked at games today I'm sticking mostly with what I'd decided. Having won 10pts on the Super Single I'll wipe out the deficit if the play-off final goes to penalties by risking 1pt on each to win the shoot-out. If you think it will be settled before then don't back the SS – but I can see it going all the way.
For the Top Treble take over 2,5 at Stabaek, btts at Djurgarden and well tipped Hacken to beat Falkenberg.

Well today hosts what some say is the most lucrative game in football – the Championship playoffs at which Wembley will host Norwich City and Middlesborough playing for the last coveted spot in the Premier League and a windfall of £80m for Norwich if they win or a whopping £130m if Middlesborough win.
Some of the more observant will see that there are clues that I’m a Norwich fan and I’ll be joining another 32,000 canaries at Wembley cheering on the Yellow and Green Army at 3pm.
As for my thoughts on the result – its going to be tight I think. Our H2H form with Middlesborough isn’t great but this isn’t a true reflection of Norwich who have been great on the road this season since coming under the leadership of Alex Neil who, it has to be said, is one of the English Leagues’s most promising young managers. By this afternoon he could be a 33 year old Premier League Manager. Incredible!
Whatever happens today the way Neil has taken the club forward from the position he inherited is amazing and we thank him for that.
Anyone who watched the game at Carrow Road last month which we lost 1-0 will know that the score line didn’t reflect the game. Norwich won lots of corners as they peppered shots on goal (I think it was 13 corners in the end) and Middlesborough defended for their lives. The 4-0 defeat away from home was prior to Neil taking over and, our away record under Neil has been amazing.
From the Middlesborough side Patrick Bamford looks a doubt still which is a genuine shame (although the Norwich fans won’t be missing him). Fear not, Middlesborough still have decent strike power though as Brentford will testify to after their 5-1 defeat on aggregate in the play offs.
So, what do I think will happen today. I’m not predicting a Norwich win as I think it’s too close to call (although I’d love a win!). Interestingly the bookies put Norwich as slight favourites with prices of 2.82 on the exchanges for Norwich and 2.92 on the exchanges for Middlesborough. I think that tells you how tight it will be.
So my thoughts turn to goals and players and I like the look at the following bets:
– Cameron Jermoe to score anytime : 2/1. Norwich’s Top scorer with 19 goals in the Championship and 6 goals from the last 5 games.
– Over 2.5 goals : 13/10 (slightly more on the exchanges). I think there will be goals (and I also reckon both teams will score within the 90 minutes) and I’m hoping each time will try and push for a winner in extra time
– BTTS and O2.5 goals : 8/5. I may put a smaller bet on this based on the reasoning above.
Good Luck whatever you bet on although you’ll forgive me for wanting a yellow and green victory – even if it comes down to dreaded penalties.

1. I like Asian as there is the void option also. Yes you lose a bit on the price and Rob and I have talked about moving to normal stakes but the void is coming in a few times (ie yesterday) and otherwise it would have been a lose. In short I use Asian because I like the void
2. Our picks are from the stats we review soley and never look at the odds. I talk about Evens as a general rule of thumb. Most of our tips range from 1.8 to 2.0. Ultimately if the match achieves our rating for a bet, we bet regardless of the odds. For the staking plan this means moving up a level may not always be just +12 and in my post yesterday I did try to make it clear the actual benchmark you need to use is when your acutal bank doubles and you can double your stake with a liability of 12 bets still.
3. It’s always been frowned upon on here when people talk about actual stake so I’m wary of offending. What I will say if I have now completed the cycle a few times and have doubled my stake 6 times and after yesterday fairly close to 7 so I’m sure you can work that out. As for covered, no we don’t ever cover although if either of us is free and watching the match on 365 and think it’s best to CO then we will, although this is rare.

just to add to Simon’s post – the reason covering is difficult on corners is that this event can move particularly quickly which is reflected by the minimal changes in odds. The only exception is if there is a flurry of early corners in an overs match, or alternatively first half with only one or two in unders. However, even then cash out will be ridiculously high so covering becomes too expensive.
hope that makes sense as in I know in other markets covering is cheaper whereas in corners, cash out seems better (in my experience)

1 The data dumps come from a few sources such as Football-data.co.uk and Soccerstats – there is a fee for both of these. The formation and pitch size data comes from someone we know who works for Sigames.
2. Re goals (and nothing wrong with those that bet on goals – look how well Raal does) is that there are far to many variables for me. When doing this you have to bet on markets and teams you are unfamiliar with. For goals, yes you have the stats but are you aware if the main goalscorer is injured or play maker or if the team are missing their 2 centrebacks. For me trying to get a 70% win rate on goals can’t be achieved. (By Rob and I anyway) for corners , we do use the stats of course but we place different weightings on the stats. Stats such have formation and pitch size makes a real difference and we find whatever the line up or what players are in the pitch both teams seem to at the same style of football we have excepted and therefore corners are more consistent to what we have calucalationed.
I feel I need to add our 70% is over a calendar month for the each of the last 6 months. There are days and even weeks we lose and even at 60% that’s still 4 losers out of 10. I’m not claiming we win every tip we put up.

Cheers Harry. cutting down the reliability to just 1 team to perform seems logical. When you look at a match for over 2.5 match goals and you can figure out whos likely to get the most goals or the winner it seems more feasable to just go for 1.5 team goals for that team. More often than not for the same odds.

Agree with Jordan here, Djurgaarden should do the dirty deed here against a poor AIK side.
The home team have scored atleast 2 in their last 5 matches, they’re in prolific form and their last home game ended 5-1 to the good.
AIK however have endured a poor start according to their calibre, mustering 3 goals in their last 4 aways and still without a win and now face their rising rivals.
Head to head paints a different picture, goal fest comes to mind, especially in their last two meetings (2-3 and 2-2) with AIK edging the upper hand. Those loving the WDW and current form, could consider Djurgaarden to win (6/4 Matchbook), but this is a derby game, so generally, it shouldnt be easy. The last time the home team won was back in 2010.
On that front, given Djurgardens offensive capabilities, and AIK defensive woes, conceding 7 in their last 4 aways, I’m happy to go with Djurgardens to add to their tally.

But their is no home advantage it’s just games played on training/park pitches with about 10-15 spectators! I say this as I’ve seen a few Czech u21 games streamed on 365. Boro have kept 22 clean sheets this season while Norwich have scored 88 goals, from a neutral point of view Norwich will score first then we could be in for a cracker, if Boro get the first goal I suspect they shut up shop and rely on their stingy defence. Norwich as seen both teams to score land in 9 out their last 13 games and is 21/20 William Hill.
There are plenty of attacking players on show and in the goal scorer market I have gone for a bit of value and am on Bradley Johnson. He as scored 15 goals this season from midfield and has scored some crackers cutting in off the wing and it could take something special to settle the final and at 5/1 at Bet365 I think its worth a punt.

I must add, this isn’t a dig at any one individual, i see a handful of people on here on a regular basis that just take shots in the dark and seem to bet like there spinning a coin and hoping they get lucky. Thanks for those comments Luke. It has been an amazing day of a great season – the organisers at Wembley did a great job to make it special for the Norwich fans (I guess the same for the Middlesborough fans too) and the atmosphere was electric.
As someone who watched Norwich lose on penalties at Cardiff back in 2002 you won’t be surprised to hear I was relieved we won in normal time this time!
As for next season – well time will tell. I think Norwich will be ok as we have a good system in place and Alex Neil is a promising manager. That said it won’t be easy (but Neil will set the bar high – he’s formidable and doesn’t tolerate a lack of effort or application). He reminds me a little of an Alex Ferguson type character who gives 110% and expects the same in return.
Anyway – an early night for me after a early start today. I do feel for the Boro fans though – they’re probably only just home now (which is a horrible journey when you’re on the losing side).

I look at the math with most bets myself but also use a sensible gut feeling for successful inplays. My pick above looked great on head to head and recent trajectory of form and the fact that the start game should really have been priced around the 1.5-1.6 for btts but was 1.75
365 have now paid out.

Tryer – Cheers bud, completely different way of betting for me but all feels right and that isn’t just because its winning.
Win or lose it has structure to it with a minimal initial outlay/risk as long as you stay focused, disciplined and patient it can deliver. Worst case scenario is £120 loss and that hasn’t happened using this system for months(The evidence is there) but important to add that it still could fail but at least its only £120 and you go again lol
4 days in and i have not bet on anything else, with just the one bet today and that isn’t something I have done for a while
Even just plus 1 a week scaled up will provide results over time.
To be fair though depends what people gamble for and will not be everyone’s cup of tea.
I find it still provides the thrill and ticks all my boxes

Luke – Made a decision to only use one source and that is Simon and Gills corner bets.
I used to go between -125 points to +60 points and kind of go up and down between those figures. I had to rely on Jordan and Harry and Raal and others to recover with some lumping and risky betting (all betting is risky but more so if you have no plan or structure)
I would also struggle with the discipline side and used to follow far to many people and then bet my normal bets as well
I grew a bit tired of it and needed to seek something new.
Have bust my bank this weekend lads. Don’t blame anyone but myself for not being disciplined enough, well done to all the great tipsters on here who could quite easily not bother and keep it to themselves. Keep up the good work. Gonna have a break and go again!

Hardeep, please please don’t follow any systems that tell you to double up your stake every time you lose. You will go broke very quickly. Follow a basic but strict staking plan and you can quite easily make profit.
