A lack of goals at Falkirk v Killie sank the Super Single but the 7-5 landed thanks to Red Bull Salzburg and over 2.5 goals at Gelfe v Orebro.
Greg's nap lost but he pulled a cracker with Falkirk to score after 72 minutes and yet again they netted in injury time. Jordan was correct with two of out of three predictions so winners all round.
As usual I'm snowed under with it being Friday my only tip is a Super Single on Benfica -1 to win the Portuguese Cup Final against Maritimo and a both to score double on Falkenbergs v AIK – which has also been suggested by bullseye who has a good record on the Swedish games – and Wiener v St Polten in Austria.
These sides have met six times and all have seen btts and over 3.5 goals barring one which finished 2-0. St Polten need a point to clinch the title so should be favoured but Wiener can score.
Benfica are aiming to clinch the double to complete a great season and this is a repeat of last season's final which they won 2-1. However, they've improved over the year while it's been a poor campaign for Maritimo who lost seven of their last 10 games to finish 13th.
Maritimo conceded a league high 63 goals and lost 6-0 and 2-0 to Benfica who should cover the -1 handicap. I also like top scorer Jonas to score first at 23-10 with William Hill.
Millwall entertain Bradford in the League One play-offs with a 3-1 lead from the first leg and I can see more goals at the New Den.
It's the final round of Serie B and one look at the table will tell you Cagliari will lift the title with a win at Pro Vercelli. Cagliari and second-placed Crotone have already won promotion. Cagliari are 37-20 at Vercelli who are all but safe and I can't work out why they are so big.
Crotone are even bigger at 14-5 at home to Entella who need a win to guarantee a promotion play-off ahead of Novara while at the foot there is a dogfight among about half a dozen clubs to see who goes down with Como.
There are also Irish Cup games to look at as but most feature big favourites against minnows such as Zenit St Peter's!

It was Meatloaf who once said “Two out of three ain’t bad”, and that was the case for my bets last night. Main bet of Orebro to score twice stormed in early in the second half as 4-0 winners, with BTTS at Heracles sealing the 1 point 2/1 bet, with the 0.7 losing only by Oostende failing to net at home against Gent.
On to today and I found this team a couple of weeks back after seeing a few results not go their way. Richmond of the NPL Victoria League have played 6 games on the road this season and have conceded 24 goals. Today they visit Avondale FC, who by no means are the best in the league, can still score goals, and even on the road which is tough to do in Australia. Should grab a couple today against a team with little joy in defence.
Doubling that up with the Port Melbourne Sharks to score at home against the Bentleigh Greens. The Greens are one of the better sides in this league but haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last five on their travels. The Sharks have only failed to score at home against league leaders South Melbourne and have scored twice against the Greens the last two visits. Obviously this is only going off stats as I have no clue about players etc. BTTS is 1/2 at 365 so I think the Sharks to score @ 1/3 is decent.

Jordan – team news hardly makes a lick of difference in this league. I used to live in Avondale… and grew up with a lot of the lads who play in this side. This really is an amateur league in pretty much every respect, and there is no promotion/relegation to help elevate sides beyond the amateur level they are at. You get the occasional bit of talent in the Aussie state-based leagues, but these guys are usually drafted by the A-League teams fairly fast. The only differential from a betting perspective is when an occasional A-Leaguer sees out his retirement at his original home-based team in their respective state league. Fun for betting, and definitely always great for goals though….
And I can recommend the souvlaki at Bentleigh Greens… which is sadly what they are more famous for than their football! On a cracking night, the entire stadium is filled with souvlaki smoke. ;)

I have made lots of progress betting on the ‘halftime over 0.5’ during inplay, most matches get one goal b4 the end of first half. What I do is monitor the match till 15mins, if there are plenty of shots on target, attacks and dangerous attacks, then I place the bet and most times it comes in. If u can, give it a try.

It doesn’t seem so long ago Livorno were in the top flight and playing in Europe but today it looks very probable they will be relegated to the 3rd tier. It will not be without a fight however as illustrated in their recent better form of 2 win and 2 draws from the last 5. They sit second bottom which means automatic relegation if they are still there tonight but a win would give them a chance of maybe getting up to a play off place to fight for survival another day depending on other results. I am backing them to do it today as they host Lanciano just above them who are the second poorest travellers in the league. I’m adding Benfica to beat Maritimo in the league cup too and finally Liefering to win at FAC. I read somewhere that the weather seems to be acting up in Sweden. Lots of rain. Might want to give the Falkenbergs game another look ;)
I will post my tips later as im just in the middle of my research, i just wanted to throw my opinion into the mix.
I will personally be giving match results a wide berth in the serie b tonight, particularly Crotone, with the odds being so high i smell a rat! Someone once told me betting is a game, its us vs them, the bookies want us to think they have had a minor stroke when we see such good odds on games like that. If they win so be it, the bookies will have the last laugh but im not risking it. I also wont be touching Cagliari or Pescara for similar reasons.
There is one game that caught my eye though, i like either BTTS or over 2.5 match goals in the Livorno game, i haven’t decided which i will go for yet.

Yes, wasclueless, and not sure if it’s just me but goals largely are not in as greater supply as a couple of seasons ago. BTTS matches can look great on paper, can’t they. I remember a good while ago when the coupon first appeared in Laddys. I thought it was a mistake, I thought it was manna from heaven. Two teams to score a goal in the same match and ninety whole minutes to do it? A doddle, I thought. And the prices for YES were better then as well….Soon learned though eh!!
