I PUT up two Super Singles yesterday. My first choice was Djurgaarden and later I added Chelsea after seeing the strong team Jose Mourinho had picked.
Djurgaarden gave us a rollercoaster of a night with an injury-time winner after conceding a 90th-minute equaliser. I advised a 0.5pt cover on the draw at 9-2 with 10 minutes to go and felt relieved when Halmstad levelled. But in the end I was happier with the final result.
All the talk pre-match was about how many kids Mourinho would field but he named as strong a side as possible including a comeback for Diego Costa – but what a letdown for backers of the Blues with West Brom winning easily after a crazy red card for Cesc Fabregas.
In the end it was a disappointing 3.2pts loss on the day for the Super Single and possibly the last time I put up two picks.
It's pretty quiet on Tuesday with some Scandinavian football and Sivasspor v Galatasaray in Turkey and Ried v Altach to look at as well as a couple of Irish League Cup clashes and some Icelandic Cup ties for anyone who knows that country.
Already there have been some comments about Galatasaray being a big price but this is a Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg and they lead 4-1 so beware.
After looking at the games I've decided to split the Super Single with 2.5pts on Sivasspor to beat Galatasaray at a biggest 5-4 with 888sport. Sivasspor will field their strongest available team in what is their biggest match of the season while Galatasaray are resting players ahead of a big league clash with Besiktas on Sunday.
Boss Hamza Hamzaoglu has left keeper Fernando Muslera as well as Hamit Altintop, Felipe Melo, Wesley Sneijder and top scorer Burak Yilmaz at home for the trip to Sivas. Aurelien Chedjou and Selcuk Inan are injured so Gala are without seven players.
Sivasspor aren't as poor as their league positions suggests and both teams have scored in their last and in their seven previous meetings against Gala – so an alternative to the home win is both to score at 19-29 with 888sport but of course the league leaders could simply set out their stall to defend their 4-1 lead.
The other single is Altach draw no bet at Ried. Altach played well to hold Salzburg to a 2-2 draw at the weekend but the result just about ended their chances of playing Champions League football. In the race for a Europa League spot they and Sturm Graz are point ahead of Wolfsberger so it's two from three.
Ried have nothing to play for so Altach must see this is a big chances to boost their Euro hopes. They are worth a look at 11-5 to win but I'll take less risk with draw no bet at 13-10 with Coral as Altach have lost at Ried on their last six visits.
That's a concern but this season they are the better team and beat them at home and of course Ried have nothing but pride to play for.
Yesterday I did a speculative goals treble and lost 1pt – I'm trying the same tonight. Start with both to score at Ried-Altach and Falkenbergs v Kalmar over 2.5 goals – the Swedes have met six times with going over 2.5.
Complete the treble with over 2.5 goals at Barcelona B v Valladolid. Barca sit in the drop zone and face a fourth-placed team who hammered them 7-0 in the last meeting. The Barca kids have conceded 69 goals this season and are likely to struggle against a Real outfit unbeaten in nine and still with a chance of automatic promotion.

Trencin -1 has to be the SS. They are top of Slovakia league playing against the bottom team.
They are unbeaten in 18 games, winning 16 of them and all of the past 13 games.
Bottom team haven’t won at home since last year and just once in the last 10, drawing just one in the past ten too.

Daniel2343, it’s a tempter but it’s a semi-final second leg which I should have said earlier and Gala lead 4-1. I don’t think Sivasspor are as bad as their league position suggests but if you look at the stats there should be plenty of goals. Both have scored in Sivasspor’s last 11 games and in the last seven meetings between the sides both have scored with over 2.5 goals.

what is the use of a single at 1-2, it just says lump on me to make any decent wedge out of it.
evens or above should be the benchmark for level stake single tips, then you need average 1 out of 2 to win to at least break even, or average 2 out of 3 to make wedge.
at 1-2 you need to average 2 out of 3 just to break even.

You are correct that constantly tipping 1/2 etc is pointless as it is not tipping it is more ‘stating the obvious’ but there are times when even short prices are a steal. A tip is simply a punters opinion of something they believe can win and is worth backing, the price is the bookmakers opinion and the two should not be confused.

All, given the additional followers lately , I should say the system delivers 70% at present .
While this is decent , you only make profit if you stick to level stakes on these tips.
PLEASE don’t think that as the last 5-6 were winners, tonight will win and lump on it. In fact, we are punching well over 70% at the moment so are due a loser.

In the last six h2h the away side have came out on top each time and strangely the away side has scored 3 goals in all games except one in which Bialystok ran out 1-2 winner.
You actually need to go back 11 fixtures in the h2h to find the last home win.
Anyone have any info they would like to chip in as to why they are such a big price to score – I’ve had a look and came up with nothing but will watch the prices tomorrow.

Been studying the Copa do Brasil match between ABC and Paysandu for the last hour now as it flagged up on an oddstracking website for big price changes – all the money coming for ABC
they are unbeaten at home in the Copa going back to 2009 (5 draws, 8 wins) where as Paysandu are winless on the road in the Copa dating back to 2013 (2 draws, 3 defeats)

bad jasper, if you like Eurovision as much as you think I do tune in to Ken Bruce on Radio 2 in the morning – he’s mad for it. It’s not everyone’s station of choice but makes a change from Capital and Heart which I have to endure on the school/college runs in the morning. And now and again they put on something decent like ELO or Genesis and now I’m showing my age.
