IT looked like being a good night when Cristiano Ronaldo landed my first-scorer tip at 10-3 – but in the end Juventus got the better of Real Madrid to reach the Final of the Champions League.
Real battered the Italians in the early stages and maybe scored too early because at the point they were through on away goals and sat back a bit.
Juve pushed forward at the start of the second half and the goal was coming when ex-Real striker Alavaro Morata struck.
So it's a Juve-Barcelona final in Berlin next month and while Barca are 4-11 favourites with BetVictor I don't think Juve can be taken lightly at 9-4. The Suarez-Chiellini reunion will be interesting and I suppose the bottom line is if Lionel Messi's at his best the Spaniards should triumph.

We also have the second legs of the League Two play-offs with Southend and Stevenage locked at 1-1 and Plymouth travelling to Wycombe 3-2 down.
I'm sticking to what I know best tonight having been let down by some Turkish and Scandinavian matches that didn't go the way they should have. Having said that Besiktas should beat Akhisar away in the only game in Turkey as they bid to close the gap on leaders Galatasaray to two points.
For the Super Single it was toss-up between goals at Fiorentina and goals at Wycombe and as it's a bigger price I'll go for the latter. Plymouth are back in the tie after trailing 3-0 at home and it should be another open affair like the first leg.
One thing against is stats – with five of the last six meetings only seeing one team score but it's do or die for Plymouth and if they're too attacking they'll be picked off by a side who are generally strong at home.
I thought about putting up a treble of Fiorentina v Napoli btts, under 2.5 goals at Akhisar and Plymouth to score but I've decided not to – anyone having a go should do so at 1pt.

The Finnish matches look solid, KTP and Vaasa will play defensively to catch a draw. SJK v VPS have traditionally been very hectic matches, who are the kings in that area but this year VPS have played below their standard. But it’s footy and many surprises already happened.
Those are played in the afternoon. In the evening RoPS v KuPS will be interesting cause it has been raining for many days and the stadium will be a mud field after 10 minutes of playing. More like rugby, not footy. RoPS a small fav at home but ….
Knowing this league makes decisions even more difficult. From day matches HJK, Inter and SJK are clear favs but that’s public knowledge by looking at the table.
For VPS this is a matter of life and death, some heads will fall if they lose even this.
Inter at home are strong and they play really well. For promoted KTP this is mentally easy, nobody expects nothing from them today. They could be a surprise by winning. For themselves also.

It takes the same amount of studying as any other league. There won’t be as high scoring games but the odds reflect that. 10/11 for a team to score 2+ when they’re 1/2 to win sums it up. Yeah I saw that Jordan they’ve got the one before 75 so im sure they’ll be conscious of the stat and get a late one for us!

Yeah the Veikkausliga is the top league so you’re bound to get less goals in some games. Like most leagues though, always more goals in the lower tiers.

Going to blatantly steal Mr F’s single of over 2.5 goals in the Wycombe v Plymouth match for the simple reason that I can’t see it being a low scorer…at evens now for the single and hope I don’t jinx that for you Mr F.

Always always always look out for Al Asyouty when they’re playing at home. They’re rubbish and rock bottom of the league with 10 points from 28 games, but they love a goal at home. BTTS has come up in 14 of their 15 home games this season, scoring 21 and conceding 31. El Ragaa aren’t much better and sit 17th, with 25 points from 28 games. They too like to concede loads but they’re pretty consistent scorers too, with BTTS coming up in 10 of their last 11 games (6 of their last 7 aways).
I’m also sticking half a point on correct score 1-1 @ 11/2 bet365 and a quarter of a point on 2-2 @ 16/1. This because Al Ragaa have had 1-1 come up in 4 of their last 6 games and Asyouty have had 1-1 draws in 2 of their last 5 home games. I know your thoughts about Turkish League and i agree. But today i bet on Besiktas match because for me Besiktas plays better then other 2 Istanbul teams and deserves to be a Champ (im a Trabzonspor fan by the way). Akhisar will not have a Gekas in scout, and without him team hardly goes to score. Last 2 match, they couldnt score and played very bad. Capone, its a tough one. Harry does, and I agree with him it’ll have the same type of game as the Bayern/Barca 2nd leg. Word is that Sevilla won’t be starting with Bacca but won’t know that for sure. I nearly added Fiorentina to score as they obviously have to and Sevilla have conceded a fair few on the road recently, but wasn’t sure without seeing line ups so left them out. BTTS is very short so you’d think both can score tonight.

Good afternoon, everybody! I didn’t get the big payback on any of the 8 accas I proposed in recent times paying at 10 x stake or more, so, make of that what you will. It doesn’t mean i don’t know what I’m doing, though I’m the first to admit that not every pick was as well thought through as the next. What it definitely does mean is the higher risk bets are higher risk because they don’t come in so easily! We knew that already, of course.
Anyway, I’m going to look at some of the overnight games again this summer, and we’ll see what we can pick up at the juicier end of the spectrum, but let’s not run ahead meantime.
Tonight I’m looking at the Ryman League play-offs, and I can offer you two pretty good singles, both at 4/5, or, what I’ll be doing, a nice double, paying at a shade under 9/4 – or, in new money, at 3.24.
Worth noting that these play-offs have been held up for two weeks as Enfield Town, who finished in 5th and therefore earned a play-off place against 2nd placed Hendon, were docked 3 points for fielding an ineligible player earlier in the season. Enfield unsuccessfully appealed this decision, and the final outcome has been sixth-placed Metropolitan Police taking Enfield’s place in the play-offs. I want to say this isn’t the first time the Metropolitan Police have been left smiling after a complete injustice, but… there you go. My name’s The UHT, goodnight.
Also worth noting that both semi-final ties are single leg affairs, so, the advantage for the home side in a one-off game is huge in each case.
Hendon Town v Metropolitan Police KO 7.45pm
Hendon finished the league season 20 points ahead of Met Police and only 3 behind promoted Maidstone. Their home record was second best in the league P23 W17 D5 L1 F45 A24, and they beat Met Police at home 2-1 in March. They also did the double over them last season. In the meantime, Hendon have just won the Ryman League Cup and the London Senior Cup. This latter trophy was won last week in extra time, with Hendon having been reduced to 10 men from the 70th minute and equalising in the 87th minute. Having half an eye on Enfield’s play-off appeal was blamed for their poorish performance, but their will to win is second-to-none. They are unbeaten in 24 matches. Meanwhile, Met Police are no slouches, but they’ve been in a limbo of not knowing whether they’ll be playing in this match or not. They have just won the Surrey Senior Cup to keep their hand in, but this opposition tonight is more than a step up from cup final opponents Merstham, despatched 2-0. Yes, Met Police beat Hendon at home this season, but that’s a good pointer for us. At home, Met Police were third-best over the season. Away, they were 14th in a league of 24. Utterly mediocre. That looks like a home win to me at 4/5.
Margate v Dulwich Hamlet KO 7.45pm
Danny Wisker, “handsome Margate demolition man”, looks like being one of the stars of the latest Big Brother. He’s certainly caught Mrs UHT’s eye, as she still watches that cretin jamboree, and she hasn’t, for example, yet noticed that he keeps trying to attack his own reflection in the mirror, but for our purposes, here and now, he’s what I call a loser – and he’s an ex-Margate player, so, it should be fairly clear where I’m going with this.
I have to say that neither team finished the season on any kind of high, but they were both fairly safely in the play-off places and not in contention for automatic promotion late on. However, Margate lost three of their last four games, and only won the final one against Bognor – the one team in the league with a worse run-in record than their own. Margate’s home record overall was actually pretty good. P23 W14 D5 L4 F50 A28. But most of that good work was done earlier in the season. On 5 match home form at the end of the season they were 16th. Against that, Dulwich were 8th best away side with a season record of P23 W8 D7 L8 F26 A27. Not outstanding, and nor was their run-in that great. Away, they were 18th best with 3 draws and 2 defeats. On the other hand, I’m not recommending the away win here. I’m simply saying it’s two teams out of form, but here’s the thing… Dulwich are Margate’s bogey side in this league. For the last two seasons, Dulwich have done the double over Margate, home and away. And last season, they also went to Margate and knocked them out of the FA Cup as well… That’s five wins they’ve chalked up in a row.
With neither team in great form, and Dulwich having the Indian sign over these opponents, the double chance on Dulwich at 4/5 looks good to me.
That’s a Ryman League double paying at 3.24.

Have checked that they all play a high line against each other whilst allowing space down the sides thus creating slightly more space between the centre backs. Well, ended up doing better than I would have with original bets…just fancied another goal and the other was a bit of a loose cannon stake…came in but bet and post showed a lack of discipline.
