THERE was no joy in Holland last night for Jordan but he’s hoping for some good things on a busy Saturday card.
He says: Today I could literally put up 10 bets with the games that are on but obviously that isn’t my style.
One bet I do like despite not playing for much is Atletico to score twice at home to Celta even if Diego Simeone rotates. The Argentine has said in the press: “Winning would give us the possibility of having the second best points-scoring record in the history of the club.
“We understand we have a final ahead of us and the best way to continue preparing is to continue competing, not to leave the line of work we set out on four-and-a-half years ago.”
Obviously they are preparing for the Champions League Final but being two weeks away they still have plenty of time for that and with a chance to pip their Madrid rivals to second place if Real can’t win at Deportivo there should still be some fight in Atletico.
Celta have qualified for the Europa League and can’t finish any higher but could be pipped by Athletic Bilbao if they better Celta’s result which would still see them qualify via a playoff.
Vigo conceded 3 at home to Atletico in the previous fixture and 2+ in their last 3 trips to the Calderon. They mainly struggle against the better sides in La Liga, conceding 2 or more in the majority of their games against top-10 opposition. Hopefully Atletico don’t rotate too much.
