MAY 14: DARTS AND OTHER SPORTS TIPS

darts_bullseye

IT’S the final night of the Premier League darts season and top spot is up for grabs ahead of the play-offs.

Current leader Michael van Gerwen is aiming to finish top of the pile for the third straight year and takes on second-placed Dave Chisnall in Brighton.

The Dutchman is 4-7 for victory at bet365 who make Chizzy a 3-1 shot with the draw 9-2 and over 7.5 maximums at evens.

Third and fourth place are also still to be nailed down with Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld battling it out. Anderson is 6-5 at William Hill to beat Adrian Lewis, who’s priced up at 6-4, and Barney is 10-11 favourite to sink Stephen Bunting.

Phil Taylor versus James Wade completes the evening’s line-up.

At the Rome Masters tennis the top seeds are in action with Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal and Co all bidding to reach round four.

There’s also cycling and plenty of Stateside sporting action so post your tips and thoughts here and good luck with your bets.

Good day yesterday, Ivanovic match was exactly 3 sets, Ronaldo scored first, UCL SF both teams scored, treble in tennis was some how let down by the banker Bautista, (Troicki & GGlopez did win) which was extremely annoying, hope it’s another good day ,

    Tennis double

    HALEP v Williams 4/9
    BACSINSZKY v Gavrilova 1/4

    0.8/1 odds,

    Confident that this will happen.

Well done Huggy. Gutted my Wizards series bet could have been looking healthy there!

Is everybody loosing the plot on this forum !

Its just turning into a complete punt fest. I had a very healthy account built up and my minimum single stake was up to 50 quid.

But in the past week or so it just impossible to keep up with everyones bets, and theres definatley been more loosers than winners posted in the last day or 2.
I have the account to prove it. I have dropped well over 1/3 of my bankroll trying to keep up with posts. Everytime you log in someone has fired another bet in, or you think you following someone then you check in in the morning to discover theres been another 4 bets done that youve missed.

The days of the combined SS or even a SS each has now turned into anything up to 12 bets a night, every night.
Thats impossible to keep track off.
And thats not including what Pick6 is posting (who by the way is posting some great picks and only 1 or maybe 2 a day, which at least it is easy to keep track of)

    From Monday – Wednesday

    Wizards +10.5 Grizzlies +11.5

    Prop bet Otto Porto
    £25 *LOST*
    Grizzlies +4.5

    £50 *LOST*

    Cavs O/49.5 ht

And yes Jordan your right – we dont need to be copying someone else’s picks (that were posted earlier), and reposting them just to say we bet on them !
Hard enough to keep track of things ffs.

I think from the GSW and Spurs thumpings, everyone has just sort of went on tilt, and now its life an out of control punt fest !

As rightfully pointed out on yesterday’s thread, there’s no point in posting other peoples tips…although I personally would never claim them as my own, and would rightfully give credit and thanks to that tipster. Having said this, I agree, a simple “I’ll be on that [name]” would be sufficient enough.

Now that’s out the way, let’s see if we can make some money!

Brian I can see your frustration but if you don’t like what people are posting don’t follow.

If Jordan and Huggy don’t want to do an ss or combined ss that’s up to them. They don’t have to post anything if they don’t want too.

  11. Adi 2 years ago

Shit this thread, it’s about darts whys basketball and football being discussed?

  13. BRIAN 2 years ago

Ive been following them for well over 9 months Dazzler
    Every single day !

I have liked what they are posting ! Obviously or i wouldn’t even be writing this.

Your missing my point completley Dazzer, I have followed the bets for 9 months !
The point Im making is it now has come to the point where it is near impossible to follow (not that i have the option to follow and dont want to, I CANT FOLLOW)

If theres 15 different bets posted through out the day and night and you have a life, and a job, and shit too do how can you follow.
When you log back in and youve missed 3 or 4 bets- Them bets could be the difference from a winning night to a loosing night, so if youve missed them well your not following.
    Thats not rocket science.

  14. huggybear 2 years ago

BRIAN , i`m going back to 1 bet a day , had a mad one yesterday that died a death.

still gonna do a prop as i quite enjoy them , got a bit carried away myself , luckily i had two very good wins in the last 7 days or i`d be down a few quid. ( went big inplay on gsw and had an epic night backing memphis )

but not been great when picking way too many bets.

see how it goes with a single , can you get prop bets on ?

    • BRIAN 2 years ago

      Cheers Huggy,
Thanks for that least you acknowledge where Im coming from. You know and I know what Im saying.

Sports betting is won over the long term, with discipline and patients- so I was just making a point that the amount of bets have went clean through the roof in the past week or 2 compared to normal.

  15. huggybear 2 years ago

bulls -2 to take it 2 seven , see me going there tonight

  16. Dazzler 2 years ago

No Brian you’re missing the point.

They are putting their bets up for your information. They aren’t posting them so you can follow. They don’t have to post a ss because it’s more convenient for you.

It’s not their job to post a ss everyday. Like everyone else they can post what they like and then it’s up to you if you follow.

If they post 15 bets, do a bit of research and see which one you like the most and follow that one. They could quite easily post nothing and then you would have nothing to follow?

    • BRIAN 2 years ago

“If they post 15 bets, do a bit of research and see which one you like the most and follow that one”

Well then that isn’t following someone !

Thats called picking and choosing what you want,
      Your following nobody.

I used to “follow” the SS or the MAIN BET, and what i mean by follow, as there was times when i didn’t agree with the pick but i done so as i was following Huggy, and knew his knowledge as strike rate was superb. The bets were placed in a separate account just just for this, so i can guarantee the results are nothing short of outstanding.
I was making a point that, that has gone as the SS or the main bet has now become a dozen different bets. That is all.

Im not whinging about the money or the losses, my bankroll can sustain a down swing, i bet on level stakes, 2% of bankroll per bet.

I actually dont even know why im wasting my time even trying to explain this to you. Huggy knows where im coming from.

begu d azarenka @ 4/1 looks nice to me. didn’t see Vika v Woz but I was annoyed and surprised to see her win. Blew my double with GGL who duly did his bit. Woz doesn’t have the forepower that Hradecka used to unsettle Azarenka but Begu does, and maybe that will be the deciding factor here. Maybe not, but worth a go I reckon!

  19. 10Duff10 2 years ago

Oh Dear Brian, that did make me chuckle.

You’re complaining that people are tipping too much and basically you do not have the time to follow them all? Would you really they rather they post one a day? Even if they feel numerous different bets had a great chance or were overpriced?

You shouldn’t be ‘following’ every bet anyway, that’s lazy. Do your own research on top of the tips you do manage to see and if suitable, back them. The ones you miss are irrelevant as they are not certain to win anyway as your recent record clearly shows.

You’re frustrated, I get that, but blindly following people will lead to ruin, lower the amounts of bets you do, keep to level stakes and only back those bets that you have the time to study on yourself after they have been posted.

    Good luck

    • huggybear 2 years ago

I also like the look of over 19.5 games @ 1/1 in that match. May back 2-0 Begu too to avoid getting disappointed the wrong way.

BRIAN- I know where you’re coming from, but you need to bet less! If you don’t know enough about the sports being bet on to separate the wheat from the chaff then it’s obv hard to weed out the worse ones, but you prob shouldn’t be betting at all on the sport if that’s the case.

  23. Iddy 2 years ago

Ad – would u not consider Begu on the handicaps? +5.5 is 5/6. Got to be worth a single.

    14-30 Rome

    1st Set Score (bet victor)

    Kvitova 6-0 25/1
    Kivitova 6/1 9/1

If Kvitova serves first this has a much better chance IMO – Jankovic won for me a 2-0 earlier but her serve is DIRE she without doubt finds serving a disadvantage !!!

  26. Hunter 2 years ago

it’s a slippery slope trying to dictate what is tipped on this thread. If people are willing to take precious time out of their lives to try and help others make some substantial profit or just some beer tokens, then good on them! At the end of the day we’re all responsible for placing our be, whether it’s our own, with or without further research, our just taking a risk and blindly following a tip!

  27. magictips 2 years ago

I understand exactly what Brian is saying, Huggy, Jordan are great tipsters and genuinely good guys, but they have increased the amount of tips the last few days. Brian is not being critical of them losing with some bets, they are only human, he follows them because he trust and respects them.
I love this section, as you have other great tipsters, Picksix, Hunter, Dazzler, Mr. Orange and Ad, just to mention a few and my apologies if i left some other tipsters out.

    German BBL league.

Bayern Munich Vs Fraport Skyliners (4pm)

This is the third match of the series with Bayern Munich taking on Frankfurt Skyliners. Going into the series many had Bayern as hot favourites, but after winning comfortably in the first game the Skyliners hit back in the second, winning by an incredible 24 points. I believe that Bayern are much better than this and coach Svetislav Pesic will have them fired up for this game. I can see Bayern looking to get off to a flying start by taking game straight to the Skyliners early on. Based on this I’ve been torn between them covering the 1st quarter spread and HT spread so decided to go with both.

    1st Quarter Margin of Victory:

Bayern Munich by 3 or more @ Evens bet365

    1st Half Point Spread:

    Bayern Munich -5 @ 17/20 Sportingbet

    Good luck!

  41. Dazzler 2 years ago

Of that’s your point Brian why didn’t you just ask people if they could point out in their posts which one is their main bet rather than having a rant about how many bets people are posting?

I’m sure Huggy, Jordan and everyone else would quite happily do that in their posts.

  42. Picksix 2 years ago

SfcMatty I know mate so close I think the Hawks were 10 points up in the 2nd at one point but John wall turned it up

I Probably should have gone with the safer option of Hawks ML and golden state ht/ft wich would have been EVS , I probably would have if I knew John wall was playing

  43. Jordan 2 years ago

You make an excellent point Dazzler. But anybody should know by now that every bet I post first is my main bet, and last night I posted ‘Smaller Bets’ anyway. Not being funny either Brian, you call it a punt fest, and that’s exactly what it is, because none of us will truely know the outcome of any bet we place on any sport.

For example I set my alarm for the end of the Wizards/start of the Warriors game. Saw that the total had fallen well short so thought I’d lump on the Warriors 1st Half Points. 49 they were on with three minutes remaining in the second quarter, didn’t get another point. Everything is a punt and I’ll put up what I think are the most likely bets to come in.

I’m glad you agree on my comment yesterday though. We don’t need people posting that they’re on somebodies bet, then they go and post it themselves. That’s just wrong.

Like I said I’m retiring from this round as its a complete lottery at the moment but good luck to anyone still taking the risks.

Felix, it’s not a big surprise. Does that make Murray a Goffin dodger! Right, off to walk the dug and maybe have a punt.

  45. Picksix 2 years ago

Wow a bit of drama on the other sports threads rare to see haha

its already been mentioned that sports betting is profitable long term and I agree if you know ure stuff , a lot of people will dispute that and say betting in general is not profitable at all and I will tell them that’s bulls*it

Last Tuesday i threw my eggs in one basket throwing 5 main bets on one game (golden state) that failed , first time I done that and the last time too

8 days later I have won that money back and profit to go with it

I try to keep to about 2/3 bets depending on how many games are played over the next few days

Jordan for example posts his main bets and then has smaller bets wich he posts he does not actually place 10 main bets a day

Judging by what I have read I think guys are betting the smaller bets that the guys post like Jordan and Huggy and using main bet stakes on them

  46. Picksix 2 years ago

Wet lettuce I agree with u on the darts fun to watch but you might aswell put you’re money in a roulette machine

I have the double and the 4fold running but im gonna have a deeper look into the game I see Huggys backed the Bulls and that also stands out for me first glance

  47. Captain 2 years ago

Add Kvitova 4/9 with PP , plays after bacsinskzy, really big price for her, should be shorter.

  48. Jordan 2 years ago

I find any sport when you’re betting on one person i.e darts, tennis or snooker is a lottery. Reason why I don’t touch them anymore. Football, NBA, NFL and UFC (when I feel like it) are the only sports I bet on. People that say you can’t beat the bookies is an absolute farce. Between different accounts since the start of the playoffs and the last couple of weeks on the football I’ve profited enough to be comfortable on not working until the end of the summer, perhaps the year if I wanted to. I don’t need to post any bets if I don’t have to.

  49. Marky 2 years ago

the posts have been confusing lately I must agree
I don’t post on here and just follow what picksix, Huggy and Jordan bet been following for 5 months
I have just stuck to what picksix has posted lately because of the amount of bets from the other guys I’m knocking them by the way just sayin, picksix you’re strike rate is unbelievable keep up the good work mate I have been well in profit from following you’re tips

  50. Juan 2 years ago

I tend to disagree – with one person sports you are just relying on that one person (and his opponent) whereas team games have a lot more variables (red cards, injuries, coaches tactics etc)

  51. mlac 2 years ago

agreed, tennis is the biggest lottery of them all imo, boxing/football have been my biggest moneymakers. Ufc and nba more so now ive started to become knowledgeable about them :)

im gonna do these early today, think the odds will change when gasol is definitely ruled out.

I have to agree with Jordan – one person sports tend to have a single of failure which can cost a bet. At least with team sports you can sub (to a degree) etc.

  53. Picksix 2 years ago

  56. Jordan 2 years ago

True Juan but if there’s an injury in tennis you’re furked. At least players can be replaced, substituted in team games. The amount of posts on here on tennis saying can’t believe they lost is a lot more on any basketball bet. All have our own opinions though.

I’m still around the 70% strike rate on main bets on here so I don’t need to defend any picks I post. If anyone puts heavy stakes on player props then that’s their fault but I’ve stated many a time that prop bets are £24 max unless I state differently. I’ve also stated that I’m not a tipster, nobody pays me to post and every pick I post are my bets that I think will win. You follow at your own risk. Like it or hate it on how many bets I post some days. A bit disappointed to be honest with Brians comment today as if he’d followed me on the main bets since last year there wouldn’t be a complaint to make but hey ho on we go.

  57. Jordan 2 years ago

Picksix on NFL Sunday there could be anything up to 10 bets on at once haha

  58. tiptopterry 2 years ago

Brian I tend to agree with you with your comment I think there’s certain people that post a hell of a lot EVERYDAY and it does make me wonder what there stakes are tbh…However you need to control your betting.. And maybe have a look yourself at what you fancy mate..you can’t back 9teams EVERYYDAY in different leagues around the world and win most times&be well in profit/for the year that’s a load of codswallop;,you can’t do that with so many bets a day any gambler knows that!! Why dont u pick and choose and maybe don’t bet everyday.?Betting everyday on loads of bets will only end in one way..I think a lot of it is boredom to be honest Brian..don’t get sucked in everyday pal!!

  59. Jordan 2 years ago

I posted 5 bets yesterday anyway? Probably the most in a couple of weeks since the first round. Is that so hard to follow?? ‘Smaller Bets’ also stated with ‘half stakes’ on the main bet. If the main bet wins then I’m in profit regardless of the props losing. I’ll try and make it more clear of main bets next time (although you should know anything I post first is a main bet) Apologies to all in confusion 😀

  60. tiptopterry 2 years ago

Fair comment what Jordan said..and everybody has the right to post as many as what u want..a few sports where yer on yer own..darts snooker horseracing dogsetc there’s also a lot of match fixing in it..Mind u look at the fty at someplaces

Tiptopterry, b*llocks, I stopped posting the strike rate as it was probably boring for some but WELL in profit. Nobody should post what they stake anyway, I don’t think people would believe what I staked to be honest. Started posting points on the football thread for all to see and I’m up over 100 points in two weeks, and that is nothing compared to what I made on the first few games in the playoffs.

What Brians comment comes down to is that he obviously lost a bit last night, as much as me? Probably not.

  62. Jordan 2 years ago

Tiptopterry, horse racing is the worst of them all! The odds reflect that mate! A horse can’t tell you how it feels when it wakes up, if its slept ok, if it feels up to racing that day.

All I know is I’m in profit and if people want me to start posting points tallies I’ll do that to prove how the bookies can be beaten very easily.

  63. tiptopterry 2 years ago

Jordan my comment wasn’t AIMED at”you”;the end of the day if Brian betted on all of those tips and they won it would be happy days..!! But they lost…It seems to me he was chasing and I suggested to maybe not bet everyday all peoples choices”tips”,are not guaranteed he should know that..And I agree I don’t think people need to say how much they stake if they dont want to..I sometimes might say got a£20,double in blah blah..but that’s me..The end of the day everybody is in different circumstances£££.Agree with u with horseracing..and a lot of dogs get winded before they are put in the traps or fed LSD or too much pedigree chum.

  64. tiptopterry 2 years ago

But have zero sympathy for him as he got greedy and lost the good old public money when there hard earn money was backing him(not me thank f##k)

  65. Iddy 2 years ago

JORDAN – Why are u bothering defending yourself? It was one bad night on the basketball. People follow at own risk and should take note when u advise lower stakes. Not every one if your tips will win but your strike rate is up there with anyone. Just continue advising us of your selections
And on that note – thanks for the over 1.5 footy goals tip this morning.

  66. Jordan 2 years ago

Haha I know Terry it was just the way you said betting on loads everyday will take you the wrong way. But its what you know and what you bet on (with the right stakes).

  67. Jordan 2 years ago

Iddy, not defending myself. I don’t need to. Brian went to the trouble of posting a long comment on it so thought I’d send my views back. Like you have just stated. One bad night (not that it was bad) makes up for the winners that we have posted over the last few months. I think the comment was aimed at me and huggy specifically. But 5 bets (1 main bet at half stakes, and 4 props isn’t necessarily hard to follow). Like you say I always advise half stakes on the ones I’m less confident on. No worries on the goals mate.

Jordan, I wouldn’t worry about Brian. To attract his attention you must be doing something write. The site’s now all about sharing info and tips – it shouldn’t be about having a go at people who go to the bother of putting up their thoughts.

      • Jordan 2 years ago

Mr F, Brian has been a follower of mine and Huggys for quite some time so it was a bit of a surprise to see such a comment from him that’s all. Not worried but I’m quite the argumentative person (as you know) so thought I’d share my opinions back.

LADIES, LADIES COME ON NOW LETS LEAVE THIS TO THE TIPPING

JIMBOB IS HERE TO GIVE YOU HIS VIEW

I noticed this last week the morning after the warriors game and after the Spurs games there were people giving hate to the NBA tipsters

There was no thanks from the people giving hate that morning all week with the winners the guys posted and as soon as soon as they had an off day there were people giving hate

The same as last night have some of you guys not took into account the winners the guys have posted all week ?

They post a couple losers last night and you pounce on them wich is pathetic bare in mind they have posted consistent winners all week and all throughout the season

My thoughts are if you’re not going to thank someone for the winners then post DO NOT come on here and moan as soon as they post a losing bet

NBA TIPSTERS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  70. Jimbob 2 years ago

ALSO IF THEY WANT TO PLACE MULTIPLE BETS THEY CAN

As dazzler said they do not get paid for posting tips they use this website to gather information from each other and kindly post what they have bet on, what do you expect for them to do to start posting 1 bet a day to satisfy your needs ? No, you can £80 a month for services like that this is a free tipping site

    YOURS SINCERELY

    JIMBOB

  71. Jordan 2 years ago

£80 a month and be worse off might I add. But well said Jimbob.

Bayern Munich by 3 or more @ Evens Bet365 **WON**

    1st Half Point Spread:

    Bayern Munich -5 @ 17/20 Sportingbet **Won**

    Good luck!

Glad you got on Mlac…big stakes on the HT as well!?! 😉

Chisnalls +2.5 legs is 4/5 Corals? Steered clear of this particular competition as its obvious when there are draws that players are deciding beforehand what the result will be. But a final is another matter.

    CROATIAN BASKETBALL

    Zabok Vs Cadevita

Odds on faviourite Cedevita take on lowly Zabok who have lost 5 of their last 6 games whereas Cedivita have won 4 of their last six. Cedevita are missing a key player in Tomas and Arapovic but have pretty good depth in their squad for this to cause any real problem. The last 3 H2H have seen Cadevita win by 29, 45 & 6 points respectively, with the latter being way back in 2013. Zabok are really struggling in this leauge and have no hope of reaching the playoffs whereas Cadevita have everything to play for and on their day are the best team in Croatia. I’ll be hoping for Cadevita to repeat their last two feats against Zabok.

HT Spread: Cadevita -6 @ 4/5 Skybet (medium stake)

FT Spread: Cadevita -18.5 @ 7/4 Skybet (small stake)

    Good luck!

  96. BRIAN 2 years ago

Jordan this has definitely gone the wrong way, read through all the comments,
Its like Chinese whispers now ffs.
Your picks are first class – and you know i know that !
Huggy commented and he knows where Im coming from,
    The rest is just bollocks.

Its the quality over quantity that separates this site from the rest.

Its not about having a loosing night last night, I actually cant even say yet as 1 bet is still open, so i dont know where this bollocks about having a bad night is coming from.

And then pouncing on you for having a bad night lol, this is ridiculous. In fact its just pure balls !

    Wizzards O/192.5
    Grillies +14
    LOST

    Hawks ML won
    GSW -1.5 won
    Bulls +7 pending
    Clippers ML pending

That was my NBA bets for last night ?????

    Double lost
The 4 leg acc. is still pending.

So last nights bets are not even resulted yet. I may be slightly up or I may be down. Results pending. So i wont even know until tomorrow morning- so how can i be pouncing on you for having a bad night ??

Im not whinging about the money or the losses, my bankroll can sustain a massive down swing, i only bet on level stakes, 2% of bankroll per bet.

I have a separate account for football which i bet what i feel like according to the game at hand and what opportunity i see.

    Forget about it, Im done.

  97. Iddy 2 years ago

I’m putting tomorrow’s Tennis NAP up early as B365 have it priced up.
    McHALE d Gavrilova 4/5 –

both got through the qualifying to get to the quarters. But Serena Williams pulling out gave McHale a bye. Gavrilova played 2hr 20 today v Bacsinsky and over 3 hours v Ivanovic yesterday. She is playing well but I’m expecting fatigue to kick in. 3 from 4 on my tips this week. Hoping for a woooo tomorrow

  98. Jordan 2 years ago

Brian don’t worry mate I didn’t take it to heart. There was a lot going on on here today but I couldn’t actually get who you were aiming the post at but I figured it was me as I had put 5 bets up yesterday, which was the first time in a while. I completely agree with you on the punt fest though. It always is a punt fest to be honest as just like last night, the Hawks and Wizards last 7 games each had all gone over the total I needed, but both were shooting so unbelievably poor it was pathetic. No big bets for me tonight anyway. Just a couple of small props. Going to start putting points staked so some people get the idea of what they should be staking on what sort of bet.

    • BRIAN 2 years ago

      No sweat Jordan
I can be arsed posting anything else more after this,

I know what your stakes are and I only ever really do your Single, double or treble .
Props i dont touch as i dont know enough about individual players, so theyre left alone.
Though i will fire loose change on one the odd time, or if im watching the game live maybe half stakes up to 25 max.

  99. mlac 2 years ago

Captain. Everyone s points totals are different. But £10 is 1 point, and £5 is 0.5, so £15. I didn’t use one but I thought I’d show how profitable it can be with a points system. Obviously these are very small bets, but will put bigger stakes on when I feel more confident of it landing.
