IT'S another busy night of football in England with seven Premier League matches and four in the Championship.
My Top Treble features a top-flight team, second-tier outfit and one from Scotland I hope are back on track after a weekend boost.
In the Championship there's a meeting of two sides enjoying contrasting fortunes under new Scots bosses. Alex Neil's Norwich are challenging for promotion after eight wins in 10 while Malky Mackay's Wigan are doomed to drop after seven defeats in 10.
Norwich have won six in a row and in their last three at Carrow Road have netted eight without reply. Neil's fliers are 4-7 at McBookie and William Hill and kick off my Top Treble.
I'm happy to back them as a Super Single to win by two or more at 13-8 with Paddy Power.
Liverpool to beat Burnley are my second pick. The Reds will take confidence from beating Man City and are closing in on the top four after a poor start.
McBookie and William Hill go 2-5 and that's not bad even though Burnley drew at 10-man Chelsea in their last away game.
Complete the treble with Arbroath at home to East Stirling. They should get back to winning ways after recovering from 3-0 down at the weekend to draw 3-3 with Elgin at the weekend – in fact they were denied a fourth in injury time by an offside flag.
Some people are being put off by Arbroath not winning in six but I believe Saturday was a turnaround and the result was treated like a win going by the reaction of the players. Shire have improved but their only recent away win was at Albion Rovers with five of their last six matches being at home. They have lost twice to Arbroath this season and conceded seven goals.
Take Birmingham as an alternative if you don't like Arbroath. Have a good day.
Celtic are 2-9 at William Hill to move nine points clear at the top of the Premiership by sinking St Johnstone tonight. That's no value so look at Celtic at 4-5 with McBookie to win to nil against a side who were held 0-0 by Killie on Saturday.
Brechin beat the Super Single yesterday as they were held by Dunfermline and Preston downed the Top Treble as they threw away a lead to lose to Doncaster. My goal single came up with over 2.5 at Charlton and my five teams to score came in at 2-1.
I've posted a separate Premiership preview and expect big guns Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool all to win but and that pays just over 7-2 at Betfred.
On the continent there are some big cup games with PSG facing Monaco in France and Napoli travelling to Lazio in the Coppa Italia. Barcelona take a 3-1 lead to Villarreal for the second leg of their semi-final while Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao are locked at 1-1.
I'm taking both teams to score in both and adding Lazio-Napoli to complete a treble.

I’ve taken the same games for a Wednesday night treble but instead of Arbroath to win, I’m going with BTTS with Arbroath/East Stirling.
Same odds as Mr F’s treble but Arbroath still make me slightly nervous on recent form and East Stirling have won 3 of the last 4 (2 of the wins were against 1st & 2nd in the league), East Stirling have also scored in each of the last 7 games.

Arbroath have not won in their last 6 games and E.Stirling have hit a bit of form so go with caution on this game.I will be on E.Stirling [5/1] as young lad at my work plays with them. For the record they have not conceded in the last 7 they have had 2 cleans in that period.
alva glen, at this level any team can beat any other team and you are spot on about East Stirling. In the last 8 league games played Arbroath have managed 7 points and East Stirling have 12. East Stirling’s last 4 games have seen them beat the top two in the league, Albion and Queens Park and also defeat Elgin the second most inform side over the last 8 games and only lose to East Fife who are the most inform side over these last 8. The Double Chance is 8/5 with Hills which appeals but I prefer to stick to goals at this level so maybe Over 1.5 East Stirling team goals at 9/4 with Corals might see my pound later today.

Arbroath looked more like the team they can be,the last 25mins on sat, v Elgin they attacked the Elgin goal with pace and more confidence, we should be good for scoring 2,3,4 or more against East stirling, the belief in our team looked back, good luck everyone.

Not often I big up my own side. We may have lost our last away tie against Swansea but battered their goal for the best part of the second half before Shelvey eventually scored the winner. Rooney up top has given us a lifeline. The line up/set up will be a difficult one to gauge but if Rooney’s in the team and upfront which I think he will be, then this has a great chance. The reds have scored 2 or more in their last two visits to St James’s (7 in 2 games) with Newcastle conceding two against Villa, and 3 against Burnley since the turn of the year.

Some good early tips tonight, I already had an eye on Man City Leicester BTTS and agree with Raal on that one. Leicester have scored against the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool in their recent travels, and City are not holding it together at the back at home like they once were. Oh and Leicester have scored at the Etihad/Maine road in all their H2H’s since 2000. Should continue here.
Also like the look of Sean Ireland’s double of Liverpool/Norwich for a juicy double yer cash. So will be on that too broski.

My own scrumptious cash doubler has to be with Norwich again. They didnt let me down with their two + goals prediction against Ipswich and Wigan should be easier to score against.
In the last 4 of Wigans away games where the opposition had scored 2+, they had conceded in each half.
Similarly, Norwich managed to score in each half in their last 3 home games. The toughest one being to Ipswich.
H2H shows this happened twice in their last 3 too.

I choose a number of teams per day and place the bet, if it wins, then i reinvest all my original stake + whatever winnings I have made over to the next day, and the same every day.
It’s great while is lasts, but of course, If one loses then everything is lost (although i have now taken out my original stake).
Ive seen then on the net a few times and thought i’d give it a go, the best I have seen as a run is 67, so i’m just trying to beat that.
I never did this to really win decent money, more a challenge, but as i’ve got up to 40 odd in a row now, it’s just become quite fruitful (while it lasts)

If you where going for profit only a good way to earn 10 a day would just be to lay one game at 0-0 but you could be liable for 160 quid or even more

james, go onto any betting site and look for over 0.5 team goals, if they dont have it then look at a team not to keep a clean sheet, you will need to do that for each game
very very short odds for most of those temas, i cant see the bet being more than 5/1 but thats a real guess, maybe even lower
i put a bet on 15 games to have over 0.5 goals and it was only 2/1 and you have picked real big teams which will be 1/10 and up for a goal to be scored

I just feel that United have been playing poorly and grinding results out now that’s fine as long as the standard of football is improving but sooner or later if it doesn’t improve I can see you dropping a few key points towards the business end of the season with teams scrapping for points at top and bottom of the table. God knows what is wrong with Di Maria, I was absolutely elated when he signed, thought he’d be as good as Hazard etc. but he’s been shocking. Falcao I prefer as I feel he has been hard done by with a lack of service throughout the season by players such as Di Maria, also I never thought I’d say this but I think Ashley Young has been brilliant this season, a completely new player under LVG

I think you have to have some guts to post a tip because when they don’t come in it’s hard as you know what it’s like to cost somebody cash and I think it’s worse if someone has followed . Question – I have been playing steady and building up slowly (apart from tonight) but I still get urges to bet bigger especially after things don’t quite go to planned (its a kind of self destruct button lol)

David, I’m not sure how you can control it. A long time ago I decided to play with level stakes and I don’t even think about betting more than by personal daily limit.

Dave for me it’s simple I don’t like betting believe it or not I keep to level stakes or less if it’s longer shot I tend to stick to goals on the rare occasion I would deviate from that. I follow raals goals bets I have patience as I don’t like to give anything away that can be avoided and I never chase as I did that in my younger days to not great effect never damaging levels . For me it was always about bills and food in the table then what was left over after everything was paid for I would be able to bet with. Some people like the buzz I never had the joy of the buzz I think that helps if you bet without the buzz that will help I never chase accas or stuff like that and it has made my bets profitable since applying those principals but that’s just me . I am not greedy I don’t do the lottery as I don’t see it as viable . My aim in life will always be a comfortable existence

But your right it does tend to be goals related like as I think it offers easier covers and it can also give you a last minute or a first minute winner that isn’t so true of the wdw market but again that’s only my opinion based on what I have learned

mike, firstly don’t ask anyone about stakes – everyone can afford different amounts so stakes are not relevant. For me 1pt is a tenner but it can be anything. 1pt is 1 per cent of my betting bank and I never risk losing more than 10pts in one day.
Mike generally a point is 100th of the betting bank so if bank is £100 pound a point is £1 if a £1000 a point would be £10 etc if bank is £20 a point would be £0.20p

Danny and mr F – Nice to hear about how others play the game, I don’t get a big buzz but its a daily interest and i just love football. I only started betting daily around October last year.
I had given myself a betting bank of 100 points until the end of the year and currently sit 24 points above this (I was 40 points above but old betting habits have started returning and obviously this has dropped)
I have learned a lot from this site which has changed my old boom and bust approach and returned some enjoyment to betting.
For the remainder of March I an going to restrict myself to 5 points max per day (starting 05th March) and see what happens.
Dave I genuinely loved football from the minute I can remember I played to a decent standard and I had a Premiership club ask me for a trial and I also played at another premier league club academy and was given very positive feedback but injured my knee not to the extent that it would stop me walking or being active or anything and even after that a league one club came in to talk to me but I felt that my time was taken I took up betting and never to a damaging scale I would like to add when I was 19 just a Saturday flutter before some amateur footy that I played . I found that since betting I have enjoyed watching the sport I grew up the sport I love much less than I did before I started betting but that’s just me if I could work without restriction i would probably feel very differently now I know how to bet. I wish you well mate and as you say at least you are making a profit there are a lot out there who don’t I guess for you its key to keep that discapline mate
David you just have to be lucky if it’s for you it won’t go bye you.do not chase dnt back for a week pick your bets let them run and see what happens if they come in give it up someone may be looking out for you before you lose big time for instance you put 1000 on a treble it comes in you get 5000 you do it again you lose them you put your house on it and Bosch your on the street play for fun not to make many have tried and failed keep it fun mate

David the best thing to do is place you bet or bets for the day keep it to 2 or 3 max and see now they do. Then while watching those games or viewing the results just look straight to the next day or to just see it as that day being finsihed because rushing into a bet that same night to try and win some or all the money back will the majority of the time lead to another lose and making you feel a lot worse. Just go with your bets but look ahead. That should hopefully help
Wato exactly there is nothing wrong with going to bed with a small loss and winning it back the next day sticking to your system tomorrow is always another day I haven’t chased for a few years now and it doesn’t make sense to do so as you haven’t studied enough and you are likely to lose you may win once or twice but why make yourself feel worse stick to your plan provided it’s profitable

Danny T I agree mate I mainly do goals bets now too they just seem a bit easier to win (not saying its easy by any means) but the number of times I have picked a team to score a goal for example and thought they should win that game and they didn’t is unbelievable. But yet they do score and have won me bets. Also as Greg has said before doing match goals is good as both teams are playing for you not just one. Also I have always said no one should have to say sorry for providing a losing tip knowing someone has taken it too but I have found myself apologising for some too lol I agree I can be disappointing losing your bet and more so for others too but it’s also much better the other way in that if it wins and at least one other person takes it too then brilliant the more guys we can have winning on here the better. It’s what this is all about.
Wato I agree the reward for providing a winning tip provided it’s on a more consistent basis than a losing tip can be very rewarding if others have backed it also as it means less in the bookies coffers which is why we are here essentially
