ANDY MURRAY and Heather Watson are bidding to do Britain proud on Friday at the Miami Masters.
The British No.1s are both in second-round action and Murray is gunning for a repeat of his recent Davis Cup demolition of Donald Young. The Scot is 1-3 to progress in straight sets against the American who has lost four of their five meetings.
Watson struggled past world No.96 Evgeniya Rodina in round one – only the second time she has won a match in Miami – and will need to raise her game against Angeqlique Kerber, who won their only previous meeting in three sets at Wimbledon last year.
Watson is 10-7 at 888sport while the German is 13-20 at Winner and over 2.5 sets pays 11-8 at Paddy Power.
There’s plenty other second-round clashes with Jelena Jankovic v Victoria Azarenka catching the eye while the likes of Stan Wawrinka, Bernard Tomic and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga are all in action in the men’s singles.
