THE weekend started well with no shocks in the European World Cup qualifiers and a predictable draw between Ireland and Wales.
Serbia, Austria, Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Iceland, Croatia and Turkey all won at odds on and only Iceland were pushed.
Finding value yesterday was the problem and I settled for an Italy -1 and Iceland Super Single while Greg's Nap treble won at 11-10. I also posted a moneyback fivefold that needs wins for Portugal and Belgium tonight.
I was working last night on a busy sports desk so didn't notice all the winners but well done to Chris Guy for flagging up Daniele de Rossi as Italy's penalty taker and advising him to score first at a big price of 16-1.
There's a real mix of matches today with nine more qualifiers and games from the Scottish and English lower leagues as well as the IRN-BRU Cup Final.
I've posted a separate Scottish preview and will add some thoughts on the English matches and internationals.
My aways treble was posted yesterday because I suspected the odds would be cut and that's the case.
Many of my bets feature Morton, Falkirk and Stirling – teams myself and Damian Walker of McBookie feel have been priced wrong. I also believe St Mirren are too big but they're on the Top Treble only because I don't want too many bets going down early.
Remember to check out Welovebetting for their tips and video chat.
And if you're having your first bet with 888sport you'll get treble the odds.

There will be one for Saturday and Sunday. Today’s would have been the same one as the site.
When I’m working Friday as well as having to finish my Saturday pages I don’t have any time to come up with much.
Ladbrokes online hadnt got italy minus 1 but got the win by doin them to score 2+
That’s a poor show but at least you won. Not as if Italy were 1-10 or something like that.
Getting these up tonight as I’ll be too busy tomorrow. No time for a write-up unfortunately as the pillow beckons.

Good luck with whatever you’re on. :)
The opening game in round 24 brought profit for me, so here’s hoping it continues into the two games for today. So far the month has been pretty good on the A-League with 9 wins, 2 pushes, and 3 losses. My dabbles on other leagues has been okay, but I think I’ll keep my eye on the Aussies and Chileans for now, as that’s where I have most of my success.
Central Coast Mariners v Adelaide United:
This one is a battle of the cellar dwellers. With no relegation in the A-League, nor the chance for either to reach a top 6 finals position, there’s little for either side to play for. Keeper Izzo returns today for Mariners, as does Faty and Neill, although Powell is an absence. They’ve been in horrid form of late, something unlikely to change today.
For the Reds, Isais, Marino, Mells, Warland and Makarounas return, whilst Carrusca, McGree, Kitto, La Rocca and O’Doherty are all out. The loss of Carrusca in particular is huge for the Reds and likely to really damage their midfield options.
This one has the makings of a low scoring game, but of some positive news is the fact that Kurt Ams is the referee. Ams is inexperienced and has the highest number of cards shown in the league by a good margin. Even though low goals are likely, any A-League match has the ability to descend into goal scoring madness (unlikely as it is today). so I’ll go with my old mate Ams and play the card line instead.
Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Victory:
This one promises to be much more exciting than the previous match, as 4th placed Roar host 2nd placed Victory. Although it should be noted that both teams squads are ravaged by absentees. Roar sees DeVere, Pepper and Broich return, although they are missing keeper Theo, McKay and Oar, amongst several other players.
Victory have been generally solid all season, including of late, with their only blip being a loss to league leaders Sydney. However a number of youth and reserve players will feature tonight, due to the absence of Rojas, Berisha, Troisi and Ingham on national duty.
The absence of a number of key players, and inclusion of quite a few hungry youth players on both fronts, as well as the absence of solid keeper Theo. Added to the fact that Roar are desperate for 3 points to keep a place in the top 4, whilst Victory will want the 3 points to keep the pressure on Sydney for the title. Anything short of a win for Victory automatically hands Sydney the title.
Should be open, should be goals!
Tips:
Central Coast Mariners v Adelaide – over 4.5 cards @ 1.80 (3PT)
Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Victory – over 2.5 goals @ 1.80 (2PT)
Sorry if anyone followed. 0/2. Poor showing from me tonight.
Free scoring Dulwich Hamlet entertain big spending Billericay Town (possibly including new arrivals Paul Konchesky and Jamie O’Hara).
Dulwich won twice at home during midweek (4-2 and 3-0) and they will fancy their chances against an improving yet overpaid away side.
Take the 11/10 on Dulwich to win with Bet365 although a Dulwich/BTTS bet is also advised if you can find such a market.
Paddy Power go 9/4 on Dulwich win and BTTS.
You can now get 11/8 for a Dulwich victory. Probably all the exposure in the press for Billericay this week has led to punters latching onto them. All the better for those of us supporting Dulwich and following the drift in price.

The National League South title race is hitting up and leaders Maidenhead look to have a gilt edged chance to add three more points to their tally with a visit to relegation certainties Bishop’s Stortford.
The hosts have shipped 13 goals in the last three games without reply. This included an 0-8 reverse in midweek at Ebbsfleet. Maidenhead are too short at 1/4 (Bet365) for the win but the following bets do appeal
MAIDENHEAD @ -1 4/5
@ -2 15/8
A final non league selection for those that like this sort of thing. I have found 4 teams at home with a seemingly straightforward task ahead of them.
In the Northern Premier leaders Blyth Spartans host mid table Rushall Olympic whilst 4th placed Spennymoor entertain struggling Halesowen Town. Both should win well against teams far inferior.
In the Ryman Premier leaders Bognor Regis are home to 16th placed Canvey Island while in the Southern Premier we have Merthyr Town at home to the virtually relegated Cambridge City.
A fourfold on Blyth, Spennymoor, Bognor and Merthyr pays 2.6/1 with Bet365 though an acca on the same four teams H/T-F/T pays a shade over 17/1 with the same firm.

Morning gents
The reduced card today can sometimes be a plus with you being able to concentrate your efforts on a few leagues rather than 10
Two matches that’s stand out for goals for me come from
League one
Rochdale v Chesterfield
Gillingham v Peterborough
These two fixtures should be popular today and Mr F has already these two in his both to score treble! Should see all 4 sides scoring and that should lead is to goals
Back over 2.5 match goals double 9/5 (William Hill) (NAP)
Clyde v Stirling
Can’t get my head around this – Cylde are in free fall, have no manager and are 3 places below today’s visitors who have won 5 on the spin and are the form team in league 2
14/5 Stirling are which is incredible! They should be 7/4 at best?
Taking them not to lose this
Back Stirling double chance 4/5
Stirling to score before 59 mins 5/6
Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Victory
Victory are missing a few forwards so Mitch Austin starts in a front three. He’s got 3 goals in 9 starts. One of the goals was in this fixture earlier in the season. He 6/1 to score anytime and this looks quite big considering he will be one of Victorys main threats.

A bet I feel is to big is Andorra vs Faroe Islands BTTS.
Granted both teams are terrible but Andorra have managed to score against Switzerland last time out so surely they will be in with a shot against the Faroe Islands who also seem to do OK against the other lesser teams goal wise.
@2.50 I will be putting a little stake on this as it is more a punt than stats based.

Beware Phil, we’ve managed to shore up at the back and have been transformational compared to 1-2 months back.
Neither us or Fletwood have seen a game go over 2.5 in our last 3 and the two most recent H2H’s (Dec and Jan ’16) were both ‘unders’.
£10 a ticket today at Gigg if anyone’s in the NW is looking for a game and a taxi-driver’s tan.

Cheers for the feedback @hullshaker just expecting goals 3-0 Bury will do ? Vaughan is a big price too. My main bet is only £10 so no damage if it goes down.

Cheers Mr F…how were the Bankies?
Made hard work of it but 2-0 winners in the end against a lowly Shotts.
At least it was a cracking day and betting wise it would have been too bar Hibs’ late winner.
I see your boys got another shutout.
Yup…be good to keep Vaughan in the summer and build upon a more stable defensive start-point than this year. Clark has been excellent.
more non league belters ????
Over 0.5 goals at Northampton & Gillingham 11/10+ :(
Poor day wi only 1 acca still running, 35/1 BTTS 5fold wi 2 up. Still got international bets to come though
Just back in time to hear Hibs scoring a last-gasp winner to beat the Super Single.
Scots btts up but in England a lack of goals after loads in midweek.
Levante DNB at Mallorca is tempting, 11/10 with Ladbrokes. Levante sit top and Mallorca 21st (3rd bottom), Levante have won 12 of their last 14 games with 1 draw and a loss at Alcocorn and are top of the ‘away’ league table by 7 points. This year they’ve played 6 games away from home with 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss.
Mallorca have only 1 win in their last 10 games and 2 in 16. Their last 8 home games has seen 4 draws, 2 wins and 2 losses.
Levante also won 2-1 in this season home tie.
Keeping the draw onside here as that’s the most likely outcome but with Levante are 21/10 for the win you can get 11/10 for DNB which seems decent for me.

Kei Kamara ATGS 10/11 (NE Revs)
Revs haven’t had a great start to the season- but this is their first home game. They take on new boys Minnesota who have managed to concede 13 in their first 3 games.
Levante price starting to shorten, 19/10 from 2/1 at 365, tge only thing I could think of is players away on international duty but that’s unlikely unless it’s the smaller nations
Mallorca have only conceded 14 goals at home in 14 games, they also have a good home record against levante having only lost once in the last 5 home games winning 3 and drawing the other
The DNB seems good value and if roger starts he will be a good shout to score
They’ve conceding 14 gls in 14 games all season but only condeded 1 goal in their 1st 6 home games of the season, in their last 3 hame games they’ve conceded 6 and 4 were against Tenerife who are 22 points behind Levante. I’m happy enough with the DNB at odd against for this game, also got btts on a 5fold still running from today
Switzerland over 1.5 Team goals 5/6
LOST
Hey guys thanks for all the comments re De Rossi. Got another wee bet for tonight. No guarantees but worth a punt in my opinion and you may wish to re-invest a few pennies from last night.
Dedryck Boyata has been playing very well for Scotland and perhaps tonight is his night to grab his first international goal for Belgium. Belgium are at home to Greece and are strong favourites. Boyata may fancy his chances going forward and this could pay off with set pieces. Since 2010 he’s only had 2 international appearances with no goals but in 2008-2009 he had 12 appearances for Belgium U19 and he scored 2 goals which shows he’s capable of scoring. William Hill offer a best price of 33/1 for First Goalscorer which is rather generous compared to Paddy Powers 16/1. To back him to score anytime you can have 13/1 at 888sport. Gods luck if you decide to get on.
Recommended Bets:
Dedryck Boyata First Goalscorer @ 33/1 (William Hill)
Dedryck Boyata Anytime Goalscorer @ 13/1 (888sport)
