This game tonight is being played at the bellerive oval in hobart which is known as a batsmens paradise.
The only other match in this world cup to have been played here was Ireland v Zimbabwe, in which there were over 650 runs, 55 fours and 16 sixes.
Sri Lanka’s last two games have seen 82 and 64 total boundaries respectively. Scotland managed a record 318 runs in their last outing against Bangladesh, in which there were a total 74 boundaries.
The only fear would be if Scotland opted to bat first and malinga utilised the early movement on the wicket to his advantage before it becomes flat and ideal for the batsmen. If the openers can hold out the early movement, Coetzer in particular, then this should be safe.

Individually these don’t need too much explaining.
Sri Lanka’s openers are capable of batting the whole innings against a weak Scotland attack. Even if they do take an early wicket they’ve got record breaker sangakkara to come in.
South Africa haven’t looked convincing against a decent attack, being skittled for 177 v India and 202 v Pakistan. However they’ve absolutely bullied the weaker attacks and have been very entertaining. They hit 14 sixes against Zimbabwe, 11 against West windies, and 12 against Ireland. UAE on the other hand haven’t been too entertaining, they only scored 4 against a poor Zimbabwe attack and just 1 against a slow Ireland and India.
NZ have been absolutely flying off the mark at every opportunity and with the aggression of McCullum, Guptil, Williamson etc they could tear apart this Bangladesh attack, which was made to look a lot better than it is by England (They conceded 320 against Scotland). On the other hand, Bangladesh have generally started slowly with a lot of their runs coming from their middle order. They were reduced to 8-2 and 99-4 against England before being rescued by the middle order and if Anderson can do that to them early on then imagine what southee and Boult can do!
Afternoon boys. Well could be feeling a little better today but the hangover is by far worse than the loss United took last night which I can only blame myself for.

Well the window as only been open officially 90mins even though some deals were revealed over the weekend, the rich get richer Seattle have traded for big Jimmy Graham in the biggest move so far. Torrey Smith (the tory you can support) is in San Fran. Rams & Philly swap QBs Bradford & Foales. Leading rusher DeMarco Murray wouldn’t surprise me if he landed in Philly played in collage with Sam Bradford.
My AFC championship tip last season Colts are a team to watch out for, Trent Cole done, now Gore and Johnson on their way to add some veteran leadership to a young side and give one of the best young QB in the league more weapons.
So Jazz -11,5 at the end of quarter 3 at odds 1.85 is worth it? Or Jazz -8,5 at the end of quarter 2 @1.97. Can’t decide!

Jordan, Lynch as already re-signed. I am surprised I didn’t see that trade coming. Doug Baldwin is under rated but with him and Lynch, Graham, Wilson makes plays with his legs my guess is they draft a WR late in the draft. The legion of boom make so many big plays, seattle often get short fields to work with. Interesting stuff Julius Thomas gone to London’s team, anyone going to Wembley this year will get a chance to see him up close.
Gore just signed for Colts as expected. Colts were a team I had down for this years AFC championship game and now teaming Gore with “BOOM” Herron and if Andre Johnson comes in to replace Reggie Wayne he and TY Hilton can do some serious damage.

Attila it should be safe as Sri Lanka matches tend to be favoured towards fours rather than sixes because of their stroke players. If they bat first then they should get that on their own to be honest! They managed 36 boundaries against Australia and only 2 were sixes. they scored 38 fours against Bangladesh and conceded 23. even if Scotland bat first I know they’ll be looking to restore a bit of pride and don’t forget they scored 320 ish against Bangladesh where England could only manage 260 so they won’t roll over Easily.
