THERE were no winners last weekend with the weather again playing a part. Hopefully most games will go on this Saturday.

In the season-long tipster challenge William Hill‘s Owen Scott is on £47.14 but he still trails McBookie.com‘s Paul Petrie who has £155.

Here’s what they’re on this weekend:

Owen writes: I chose games in the most difficult division to predict last week and was shown exactly why it’s so difficult as in-form Kilbirnie lost at home to Hurlford. That won’t stop me trying again as I look for my second winning line of 2013.

I’m heading to Fife to begin and taking Kelty (5-4) to win their big derby match with Hill of Beath. Kelty have not played many games due to weather but have picked up some impressive results along the way and I feel they can beat their kingdom rivals.

Ashfield (10-11) are my next pick. They are just above the danger zone and three points here should keep them safe enough for the time being. A defeat for Glenafton leaves them right in the mix and they could have a battle to survive on their hands.

Finally I’m staying close to home and taking Cumnock (7-5) to win their six-pointer against Arthurlie. Both clubs need the points and I reckon having a week off has helped Cumnock as it gave some players time to recover from injuries.

Owen’s Treble

  • Kelty
  • Ashfield
  • Cumnock

Treble pays £103.10 to a £10 stake at William Hill, £92.25 at McBookie.com

Paul writes: First up I am backing Johnstone to beat Dundonald in the Scottish Cup. We both have the East Region side as favourites but home advantage can help Johnstone pull off a shock – 6-4 with William Hill or 11-8 at McBookie.

I am staying with the Scottish Cup and backing Glencairn to beat Blackburn at 1-2. There should be a big enough difference in quality between the two teams to justify the short odds.

Finally, I am taking a punt on Maryhill to beat Neilston. There is a big difference in price – we are 11-10 compared to Owen’s 11-4. I would normally stay clear of the cups but that is too much of a difference in my opinion not to get involved.

Paul’s Treble

  • Johnstone
  • Glencairn
  • Maryhill

Pays £64.81 to a £10 stake at McBookie.com, £130.62 at William Hill
