I PUT up two Super Singles on Sunday and it was one winner and one loser for a 0.5pts loss.
Over 3.5 sets in the French Open Final came in at 5-6 but Start v Stromsgodset went against all recent stats and finished with just one goal.
I was unlucky with the Top Treble as Start beat it by failing to score after wins by Norrkoping and Elfsborg scoring more than two.
Super Single losses are 13.3pts this month but in May they were over 20pts before I hauled it back and hopefully I’ll do it again.
It’s been a fairly busy weekend even if the quality wasn’t there barring the Champions League Final and apart from international friendlies it’s pretty quiet this week as we build up to the start of Copa America on Friday and the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
I’ll start to study Copa America over the next few days but you could do worse than check out the excellent previews on all three groups and team-by-team guide on We Love Betting, with guest input from Tim Vickery.
We Love Betting’s Mark O’Haire has done a fine job and I don’t have the time to match his efforts – so I might be nicking some of his stuff. I’ll give him the credit though and buy him a few pints.
Next up on Monday in the women’s World Cup is Sweden v Nigeria – with the odds suggesting a win for the Swedes. There have been a lot of comments on this game and the concensus is on both to score at 10-11 with Coral and raaljaca and others are tipping goals.
Of the friendlies the most interesting is Norway v Sweden and it should be a proper game unlike Ireland v England yesterday. If Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts I might take him to score first but let’s see teams first. I don’t like betting on friendlies but the only tips I put on comments yesterday won – under 2.5 goals in Dublin and Brazil to beat Mexico.
There is one League of Ireland game with Shamrock at home to Derry and I’ve decided to fully put my faith in Rovers – the only unbeaten side following Dundalk’s surprise loss to Bohemians on Friday.
If Dundalk had won the title race would have almost been over but Rovers can close to withint four points having played a game more with a win against a side who are in poor form with no wins in eight. They lost 1-0 at home to Shamrock in the League Cup and haven’t won on their last four visits.
Form points to a Shamrock win by more than one – they beat Sligo 5-1 at home last time out – but for the Super Single I’m putting my maximum 10pts stake on a home success at 1-2 with BetVictor and McBookie. If you’re not as confident as me lower the stake.
10pts Super Single
Shamrock Rovers (8pm)
(1-2, BetVictor, McBookie)
June Super Single record
8 bets (2 winners, 6 losers)
June Daily Double/Top Treble record
6 bets (1 winner, 5 losers)

And don’t miss their excellent guide to Copa America with contributions from Tim Vickery.
Meanwhile, Raaljaca’s goals thread started recently and he’s asking for donations to two cancer charities. In June we’re supporting another cause in the shape of Projects Abroad who send volunteers to work in poor countries all over the world.
My student daughter is raising money for a trip to a Romanian orphanage and this month all Buy a Beer donations (£3 minimum) will be passed on to Projects Abroad so click the button if you want to help.
